    Hey y'all! I'm so excited to share this video with you! This is what I eat in a day to keep up with all the training I do for Challenge Accepted. Before TH-cam, I traveled all around the country racing as a professional cyclist - this experience has informed a lot of what I eat. Special thanks to my nutritionist Brandon Peters from Film Fit!

      I'm sure if we all looked like Michelle and had similar height we'd wear the same. I'm a short girl (4'11" and I'm 23y/o) and normal people sized crop tops are almost shirts for me that just rise alittle like an inch above the pants line.

    Tip: cut your chicken breast in half to make it thinner. This will cut down the cooking time and also keep it more moist as you don't have to cook it as long :)

      @@kimbrolyy I guess so xD? They come in cardboard milk carton looking things. I assume the yolks get used in other products (bakery, maybe dog food), so it's probably much less wasteful to only buy the whites. Some people actually have digestive trouble with the yolks, so it's a nice option!

      She said in the video that she usually only buys egg whites in a carton but the store she went to this time didn't have them so she had to buy regular eggs. We have that in Canada and the US. Not sure if they exist in other countries, though.

      Lunar cilantro isn’t the same as coriander - and I am very very thankful for that - I have that gene as well 😅 coriander is pure soap!
      At least ist Europe that are two different plants, not sure with America and the wording tho 🤷🏻‍♀️

      @Alice Renée Olsen Right? The Dutch word for it is Koriander which is basically the same but according to Google we got the word from the Greek koriannon (but it's also the same in Latin so no one really knows where we stole it from)

I guess the gist of the matter is, in Germany I learned that you can call another herb (Petersilie, wich is quite jummy and wich you will know as parsley) also coriander. But maybe it´s a german problem, that we mix the wording for parsley, coriander and cilantro (wich is often the case when you watch english cooking videos with translation on) Coriander means here indian oder japanese parsley... :)

      @@neko_doll5122 I didn't think they were that tasty when I first tried them, but they are certainly drinkable without hating the taste. I tried the vanilla and the chocolate flavours. Took a couple of weeks, but I got used to them and they're pretty good now, but they're nowhere near as tasty as a real chocolate shake to me. I would say they are really tasty for something that isn't really designed to taste incredible.

      Same. I do low carb and they are super low carb and delicious. I prefer the vanilla, it's perfect. My husband doesn't do low carb and he like cocoa flavored soylent, so when we want a quick dinner, we each have our shakes.

    I had my jaw surgery and I was on a liquid diet for 6 weeks.... let me tell you I drank premier protein for those 6 weeks I’ll never look at another one of those things again 😂😂😂

      Aaiish yes I lost 15 lbs, i would put scoops of peanut butter and real fruit mixed with the protein shakes to try and keep my weight up lol

    I usually see athletes or people in the fitness community consuming a lot more carbs than you, and they don't necessarily train for as long as you do. I know one type of diet doesn't work for everyone, but I'm wondering what your rationale is for eating fewer carbs than the others. I love the science of nutrition so I'd love to hear more from your nutritionist please!

    I just wondered why you don't eat the egg yolks, it seems a little wasteful. Also, you eat a lot of chicken, I wonder if you know how the chicken was raised, just thinking about the ethics behind your meals. Love your videos, you inspired me to start running!

      Egg yolks are higher in calories and fat than egg whites. So for extremely healthy diet (& weightloss) people usually eat only the egg whites. Egg yolks are also higher in
      cholesterol, so if having
      cholesterol problems you shouldn't eat that much egg yolks. But I agree, it is a bit wasteful. Maybe people who can't/don't want to eat the egg yolks should find a different source of protein.

    Might be good from a workout/athlete-perspective, is not as good from a cooking point of view. Also: that seems to be a rather small amount of food, when put in relation with multiple hour long workouts a day.

    As someone who recently had to start the AIP diet I really appreciate seeing what you eat. Can't translate it all to AIP, but it gave me ideas for what I can make!

    Just a little tip - when roasting the mushrooms, do not add salt in the beginning (it will make them lose their water), than they'll brown without getting chewy, you can still add the salt later with the other vegetables.

    I love the recipe to the grilled chicken with zoodles , such a great alternative for pasta and truly my favorite . I've made an alternate to fettuccine Alfredo with zoodles with baby bella mushrooms it was super good , thank you for your recipes and meals that you shared you really are a great cook .

    Premier protein is actually really great, my dance partner has a lot of trouble feeling hungry but he knows he needs to eat to maintain/get stronger, so he has one of them a day with his lunch to help him out.

      yes the fire fighter training would be really cool to watch. There are a lot of volunteer fire fighter programs that would probably let her train with them. Especially if she films the process. They can use it to recruit newer volunteers.

    I have a very fast digestion which means I get hungry faster as well as I don't absorb all my protein and vitamins.

    Fun fact: nuun tablets (and other electrolyte replacement options) are quite helpful for people with hypotension/hypovolemia, and certain autonomic nervous system issues (particularly POTS). Straight up water hydration can be less effective for these people because it's further diluting the electrolytes in their blood, which is often the issue. I don't like them as much as Michelle, so usually mix them with some type of flavored unsweetened sparkling water.

    Maybe a random question, but does anyone have any good substitutions for tomatoes? I have an intolerance to them and a lot of healthy recipes like Michelle's include them and I feel like when you omit them in a recipe with maybe 4 or less ingredients its really lacking.

      mskaseylo i have the same problem. Harrisa is the closest thing I’ve found, if you’re able to have that. But it doesn’t work on everything

    When starting a healthier lifestyle, how do you conquer cravings and needless snacking?

      Depends on the person, some people prefer 6 small meals a day or 3 larger meals. If you want to snack, try healthier options! (banana/ apple + almond butter, protein bars) (you can find a bunch of healthy snacks online) And find out why you're snacking? Is it because you're bored from sitting for a long time? Do you crave social interaction while you're snacking? Are you dehydrated? You got this!

      Put snacks faaar away/in a very odd place if you already have them. Don't buy them if not. That will stop it being mindless at least! I keep my tea snacks, and biscuits 2 levels away from my work room. That way I have to say "do I want to stop what I'm doing for a full 15 mins when my deadline is x?"

      When your craving something its usually because you need the energy or nutrients it gives you so figuring out why your craving it and eating something healthier is usually a good option,, like it sucks to eat meat when you're wanting ice cream but your body is trying to tell you you need something it's just not always telling you the right thing that you need

      I’ll let you know something very important which is when you have cravings DO NOT deprive yourself of what you’re craving. Be very conscious of what you crave. If you are craving a bar of chocolate, have only 1 bar and be easy on yourself, continue your day, adjust your calories intake. However, if you deprive yourself of what you’re craving and eat almonds or fruit instead, it will quickly intensify your craving and you are more likely to binge on those chocolate bars, ice cream, lollies etc. Also for needless snacking which can be from boredom, you need to be firm with yourself. Make sure you eat when you’re hungry and you are satisfied when you’re done. Go easy on yourself. Don’t implement so many strict rules on yourself because you will feel like a slave to health. Adjust and adapt your healthy eating to how you are

      Tatiana Morales I am a constant snacker! I make kale chips (for savory cravings) in the oven and protein balls with coconut flour or almond meal with chopped nuts and cocoa powder/ cacao nibs (as a sweet snack). I bring both to work and eat them for AM/PM snack times. Somehow those nutrient-dense homemade snacks satisfy me so much with only a little amount. I highly recommend to cook your snacks which are nutritious and visually appealing.
