No way I came across this video from your mini skirt tutorial bc I seriously relate to everything. I literally just dropped out of George Brown fashion as it was NOT what I expected at all, made me dread my favourite thing ever and learning online was so bleh 🥺 ugh I feel so seen!!! I was was feeling guilty for not going to RU fashion but you made me feel so much better about it. It's scary not knowing what direction you're going to go without a concrete education to fall back on but I am much happier/hopeful about finding my thing at my own pace, through honing in other skills and experiences idk how it'll play out but feels good ❤️ glad you felt you made the right decision, excited for us xx
I can relate to everything you said!! Last year I got into uni for chemistry and it is so consuming doing this at home, I didn't drop yet, but I am in the verge of it!! And I dont even know what I want to do with my life!😭 If you ever want to talk about it , youre not alone!!
Thank you for sharing! Yeah it's so much pressure, especially right now, having to know exactly what we want to do... I totally feel it! I felt like I was in my program just to say I was doing something, but that wasn't a good enough reason for me. Wishing you all the best though, and also you could do ANYTHING you're so talented
girl, you are indeed very young and it is very dumb that we should choose what to do for the rest of our lives at 18, I'm 30 years old now, I went through musical production cause I thought my passion was music, yeah, one of my passions is singing and dancing but turns out not music, dropped out after 2 semesters, then history I dropped out after 2 days, I finished a major in Industrial design cause I like to make things but after working for a year on that field I left it, now I working online and trying to get into video editing, what I mean with all that is, what you end up majoring in could change the course your life takes but is not what you'll be doing forever and what I would recommend is to major in something because of the places it will take you. It seems to me you are already pretty good at this youtube thing and could study something related to that, either way, dropping out of somewhere you don't feel comfortable with is definitely the right choice, and choosing the right major is not nearly this make or break decision they make it out to be, it's ok to take time and you are gonna be ok.
