    So I have the same laptop model and it does have the slot luckily.. I'm working with 240gb sata ssd and 32gb ram(I upgraded) i'm wondering if I should upgrade the sata to 1t (if theres a point in doing that for this laptop) or leaving it alone adding a m2 sata along side it(500 or 1t I'm thinking) which would u suggest please?

      You're alright with your configuration.
      Upgrade only if you require the extra storage or the slightly speed increase.
      Best storage configs
      The m.2 SATA SSD for the os 120GB - 512GB...
      The regular SSD for storage 500GB - 1TB...
      Also you could replace the DVD drive with another SSD for backup 500GB - 1TB...

      Hi @lebitsojunior9903, I’m sorry to hear you’re having issues with your laptop's fan. Here are a few things you can try:
      Check for Dust: Sometimes, dust can block the fan. You might want to open the laptop and carefully clean out any dust from the fan and vents.
      1. Reseat the Fan: Ensure that the fan is properly connected to the motherboard. You might need to open the laptop to check this.
      2. Update BIOS: Sometimes, updating the BIOS can fix hardware issues. You can usually find BIOS updates on the HP support website for your model.
      3. Run Diagnostics: HP laptops often come with built-in diagnostic tools. You can run these to check if there are any hardware issues with the fan.
      If none of these steps help, it might be a good idea to take the laptop to a professional technician.

      1. Turn / Restart the laptop.
      2. Immediately press the Esc key repeatedly (about once every second) until the Startup Menu opens.
      3. Press F10 to enter the BIOS Setup.
      4. In the BIOS Setup Utility, navigate to the "System Configuration" or "Advanced" tab.
      5. Look for an option related to "Boot Mode", "Boot Options", or "Legacy Support".
      6. Change the boot mode to UEFI.

      "I don’t recommend bypass TPM 2.0"
      luckily, the HP 15-bs1xx laptop does support Windows 11 without the need to bypass TPM 2.0.
      Valorant is not particularly demanding, so the laptop should handle it well.
      Check your TPM Status by going to Start > Settings > Update & Security > Windows Security > "Device security".
      If TPM is enabled, you should see information about it.
      If not, you might need to enable it in BIOS.
      Try to Clear TPM Keys in "Device security" > Security processor details > Security processor troubleshooting.
      > Clear TPM.
      Then restart.
      Maybe you can try to clean install win 11 if all solutions don't work.
      Remember to BACKUP your files.

      A. pressing [Win] + [R] key
      B. Type [msinfo32] or [dxdiag].
      C. Click OK to find your system model. Use your laptop model name to find the correct replacement battery.
      2. Check your original battery's type model and shape by removing the laptop back cover. Use this information to search for the replacement battery.

    • @Kahihia
      @Kahihia  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi, before buying the SSD you should remove the bottom cover and check if the slot is present on motherboard as sometimes notebooks the M2 SSD slot is missing the physical slot on motherboard.
      Either should be fine just ensure its "SATA III 6Gb/s" and not "NVMe PCIe"
      Speed is usualy up to 520 MB/s read and 560 MB/s write
      Form Factor M2 if the slot is available
      Choose your preferred capacity

    Bro I have the same model and trying to play valorant on it but it is too slow and takes too much time to open the game also it lags every time I use it it take almost 5 mins to open ..! What should I do ..?

    • @Kahihia
      @Kahihia  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Your laptop should be able to run Valorant well, at least at minimum settings. Try lower the settings, you might even get better performance.
      However, if you’re experiencing lag, it could be due to other factors such as background applications running, outdated drivers, or internet connection issues.
      If the problem persists, you might need to consider upgrading your hardware. Hope this helps! 😊

    So I am about to order an SSD for my 15-bs 134wm. I already have windows 11 installed locally but the computer hates it. Will getting this SSD make it run better? Also can I just copy the OS over to the new drive once I have it installed? I just got a couple of laptops through a stroke of luck and while I’m semi-competent, building computers isn’t my forte. I’m just rebuilding them to sell, but I want them to work decently. Thanks in advance for your time in answering.

    • @Kahihia
      @Kahihia  11 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Sorry for the delayed reply.
      Yes, especially if it has support for the m.2 SATA slot.
      Also, the replacing the HDD with SSD will work great.
      It will feel noticeably faster either way.
      "Also can I just copy the OS over to the new drive once I have it installed?"
      you can use a clone tool like 'AOMEI Partition Assistant' for that. Just ensure your new SSD has more capacity than the previous one.

    • @richardbritton4675
      @richardbritton4675 11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@Kahihia no worries! What is the reason for the tool? What is the benefit of using it instead of just creating a system image from the on board HDD to the newly installed SSD? Then freshly booting the computer from the SSD? I’m going from a 250GB HDD to a 1 TB SSD if that makes any difference.

    • @Kahihia
      @Kahihia  11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      The only reason you'd use the tools, is if you had a running version of windows 11 in the HDD and would like to copy it exactly to the new SSD.
      It might be challenging, but if you are able to clone the 250GB HDD to a 1 TB SSD, you could physically swap them and resume where you left off.
      Freshly installing windows to the SSD doesn't require the tool, you'll have to reinstall all your apps and software.

The computer will run as is, it just uses the %100 disc to do nearly anything and all of the other values are %80+. I think I understand what to do 😂. I cannot revert to windows 10 because I already deleted all the files in hopes that it would free up enough space to resolve the disc issues.
