I had not heard of Jackie until one day years back, I bought a Classical Cd for a business road trip. This song by her came on and it just completely made my skin tingle. I played it over and over again not realising I was listening to the voice of a 10 year old. I googled her and almost crashed my car when I saw this beautiful young lady with the voice of an angel. I rushed out and bought her first CD Dream with Me as well as the DVD. I spent months playing her music and asking friends and family to guess who she was....LOL. To this day she is the most talented and promising young classical singer ever to bless us with her music. Thank you Jackie.....what a joy to hear you and to this day Nella Fantasia is owned by you and it will remain my favourite song of all time!

It's not reasonable to think she hasn't developed better technique, more authentic emotion from deeper understanding, along with expanded range, greater control and finesse as well as a more powerful mezzo timbre. Her voice better suits her age now, as one would expect, leaving the phenomenon aspect behind. Her clear tonal quality is just as impressive, and she has retained other qualities that make her a unique vocalist.

I was nwver an opera aficionados per se, mostly classical music. But when she sings, her voice evokes such emotions that you can't help but feel a sense of sadness but also a sense of joy. It's quite hard to describe these feelings. Nut much like everything in life, I had moved on and subsequently forgotten about Jackie. That is, until her youtube contents came across my timeline this past week and all I've done is watch every video of hers multiple times a day. She is now all grown up and singing different genre of music. Perhaps its a sense of nostalgia, or a sense of longing to hear her sing again as that 10 year old with the golden voice. My only regret is that I had never listen to her at a live concert. Especially given the fact that I hail from the same city as she does.
