I love these 'cost of travel' videos. I really think you should edit together a 'Cost of Brian's monthly haircut' video from all the different places around the world!! It would be fun to see if it is a swanky salon or a chair in the street!
Haircuts from around the world!! 😆 The swankiest was definitely Budva, Montenegro! We wish we would have filmed it!! 😆😆 Thank you so much for watching and commenting!! ❤
I spent five years living in SE Asia. Vietnam is incredible and still my favorite place. I am always telling people that, if you eat Vietnamese food, then it is cheaper to eat out for every meal than to buy groceries and eat at home. After a year living in Africa, I can't wait to get back to SE Asia.
We are loving the food options and most of all the pricing. We love to cook and eat at our Airbnb but why would you do that? It cost more and the street food is so good!! Thank you for watching and safe travels!! Cheers!!🍻

Thank you for the video. I totally agree with what you said about the cost in Vietnam. We had a similar experience with our Vietnam trip (Saigon, Mekong Delta, Hue, Danang, Hoian, Hanoi, Ninh Binh and Halong with a 2-day cruise) which did not ruin us at all. We stayed in great hotels (4 or 5 star hotels), had awesome food (traditional and street food), traveled by plane between cities, or by van with drivers for short distances and visited many beautiful places. I know that a similar trip with the same conditions in Europe or America would cost at least three times that price.

Would love an AMA video with you guys. My wife and I are thinking of doing something similar to you where we sell everything and travel Europe in our 50s. Like what your experience was with selling everything, deciding where to start, what kind of finances were required (whether you have ongoing money or just what you got for selling your house etc) and what some of the pitfalls have been. The visa in Vietnam may be changed back to 90 days in the coming months. That is what we are hearing anyway. Thank you for watching and commenting!! Cheers!!🍻

Glad you enjoyed your month in Vietnam. Watching your video makes us want to go back there (as well as Thailand) - it's beautiful and affordable and the food is excellent. I am planning our trip to Poland, Albania, and Egypt later this year and what were traditionally less expensive travel destinations have gotten much more expensive! Anxious to see where we'll hear from you next! Happy Travels.

Another informative and thorough video regarding monthly costs in a location. Right down to the penny! Well done. I am amazed at just how affordable everything was in your daily life, like a $2.50 haircut!! You ate well and still had very cheap eating costs. Thanks too for the bloopers. You two are always so up, positive and seemingly really enjoying all your travels. Thanks for posting.
Another great video! Thanks for showing that we will be able to get around without a scooter. So many TH-cam videos show people renting scooters in SE Asia and that is something we would like to avoid.
We will not rent a scooter, if you are not experienced it can be dangerous. It is easy enough and affordable enough to not have to rent a vehicle. Thank you for watching!! Cheers!!🍻
Excellent video! Vietnam has never been on my travel bucket list but I think I have to add it in. Really enjoying all of your videos and the what it costs ones are highly informative. Happy travels! Can't wait to see where you go next.
We have already decided to come back to Vietnam spring of 2024. We will be heading to Saigon and exploring the southern region this time. We have a lot of traveling to do before then! Thailand and Malaysia are next!! Cheers!!🍻
I am planing 2 month visit to Thailand and Vietnam flowing your steps exactly same places and same experiences Thank you for your great videos Your friend Adam Magdy
Thanks for the breakdown, you two. I hadn’t really considered Vietnam as a destination (more of a Europe person) but this makes me want to explore the country. Looks beautiful.
Besides all the pros you were mentioning , there are also many cons that westerners don't like about Vietnam : air pollution , dangerous chaotic traffic , noise , insalubrity , trashes , language barrier , gap of culture ...Picky demanding tourists won't feel happy and comfortable here . VN is only for open-minded , easy-going people but not for everybody.
We absolutely love your videos!! So glad we found you!! Doing our homework and YOU are our go to for information on everything we need to know. We are expats who have a 40' camper at a campground where we stay for 5 month, then spending one month visiting family. The rest is spent in Mazatlan Mexico for now but we are looking forward to exploring south east Asia starting in the fall of 2026. Thank you so much & keep up the great work!
Hi, great breakdown. We have decided to go four star hotels all the way for our upcoming 3 week trip to Vietnam, because they are ssssoooooo affordable compared with literally any other destination, and we will be moving about every three days. We never spoil ourselves like this, when we travel, because that would obliterate our budget usually. We have a couple of overnight trains, and three internal flights booked (because Con Dao Island in the South, is also on our agenda). We will be treating ourselves to a Halong Bay cruise which is the biggest ticket item we have booked whilst there. The only other countries, we have been that is comparable in costs to Vietnam, is Java in Indonesia, Sri Lanka (although that might have changed now) and Southern India.
We were able to do a little more in Vietnam than we usually are able to. The cruise is great, something we normally wouldn't have done but knowing what the rest of our monthly cost would be it made it possible. You will have a great time in Vietnam!! Thank you for watching and safe travels. Cheers!!🍻
@@BrianandCarrie we have a tour in November. But looking at your analysis can add another in late July. 8 days Hanoi ( 3 days Hai Giang Loop), 14 days Danang. Love your videos!!
We loved your breakdown costs! Super informative and spot on. We as well loved Vietnam and look to return there one day. Keep grinding, you two are awesome!!! 😊😊
There are so many aspects of this video that are great. The filming seemed particularly sharp as well. If you ever visit Calgary, you have a standing invitation to join us for coffee, wine, or, of course, beer. Roger and Jeanette
Thank you, Roger and Jeanette. We actually had a vacation planned for Banff just before covid and had to cancel. We may one day make it up that direction. Thanks again for watching!! Cheers!!🍻
We love Vietnam so much we spent our Honeymoon there in Feb. 2020, In Hanoi and Ha Long Bay for an overnight cruise, Which thanks to Covid was no where near what you guys paid, mind you it was only one night to your 2. But worth every penny. Then we went back to Da Nang for our 2nd time. This year we are thinking about NHa Trang, just starting the planning now. I wonder if Carrie found the snack that I have no idea what they are called but they come in a bag, they are round and individually wrapped and oh so good. This time I'm taking a suit case full back to Canada. I think that hotel you stayed at was just around the corner from where we stayed our first time in Da Nang, Marble Mountain is stunning and not sure if you guys went to Ba Na Hills was also well worth it. Nice Bloopers. I'm going to check out which cruise in Ha Long Bay you guys went on, we stayed on The Scarlet Pearl Highly recommended. Be well.
When we return to SE Asia Vietnam will be the one country that we will visit a second time. We loved being there but only had 30 days to explore. Thank you so much for watching and commenting on our channel! ❤ Cheers!!🍻
Can't wait to return to Vietnam .. so affordable .. if you get a chance next time , don't miss Ninh binh .. stunning area. My husband particularly liked Bia hoi down on the corner , at 8am.😂🍺🍺.. loved Can thou on the Mekong as well , although anywhere you go is just magic 🙏🌺🌴🇻🇳🥢☕️❤️ 11:14
We have decided to return spring of 2024 to explore all that we were unable to see this year. Beautiful country!! Thank you for watching and commenting! Cheers!!🍻
We have a yearly budget so we try to balance it out the best we can. We would be flying someplace in the world regardless but the living cost does help. 🍻
Loving your videos! I'll have to watch your cost of living video for Thailand. A great video idea would be cost of living thailand vs Bangkok! We are thinking Thailand might not be as worth it to go to over Vietnam, since Thailand is more expensive.
We will be doing a Thailand cost of living video in the next few weeks. We will have spent over two months in Thailand so it will be a little more involved. And yes, we will break down our costs in Bangkok and Chang Mai to Koh Samui and Phuket. Thank you for watching!! Cheers!!🍻
@@BrianandCarrie this is a great response! I thought I had missed the Thailand breakdown. Looking forward to seeing that video. Thailand truly has a special place in my heart.
We went to Vietnam end of March for 2 weeks. Spent 4 days in Saigon, 5 days in Nha Trang, 1 day in Ha Long Bay, and 4 days in Hanoi, quite an adventure. Took a train from Saigon to Nha Trang, flew from Nha Trang to Hanoi, bus to Ha Long Bay and back to Hanoi. It was a blast. Unfortunately, my wife fell and broke her wrist on the 3rd day in Saigon while on a food tour. Total hospital costs with doctor, 2 x-rays, cast, and medication, $101 US dollars. She was determined to finish the trip, though it did limit several things we had plan on doing. Definitely going to go back for a month and hit Hoi An and Da Nang.
That sounds like a great tour! Too bad about the fall, at least it didn't cost you thousands like in the US. We will be excited to get back to SE Asia next spring after our European tour. Thank you for watching and commenting! Safe travels!! Cheers 🍻
Another great video! I love and appreciate your cost breakdown by location, very helpful. You both seem so happy there. Is Vietnam in consideration as a more permanent place to live?
Great video as always. Love the costs breakdowns. Have heard lots of good things about Cambodia and Malaysia as well, if you are looking around for more in SE Asia. Would love to see you guys do Bali as well. ❤
Hi, Larry! We will be in Malaysia later this month!! We have heard good things about Cambodia as well so plan to return in early 2024 to explore the Philippines, Indonesia, Laos, and of course Cambodia. We will also do a stopover in Japan also. Thank you for watching!! Cheers!!🍻
@@BrianandCarrie please consider going to Borneo, while in Malaysia. Kuchi ng in particular. East Malaysia doesn't get as much coverage as it seems to warrant. 😊
Ok, I just added Vietnam! I’ll fly to Bangkok for 30 days, then Cebu, Philippines for 30 days, then Vietnam for 30 days and then onto Tokyo to catch the cruise 🚢 to Seattle (if I can afford it).
Hi Carrier and Brian loved the video as always just doing a refresher before our visit. You mentioned using grab do you need to have a local sim card to use this app or can you use your home number? Enjoying your new videos as well happy safe travels.🤗

Did I miss the Thailand cost comparison? I can’t seem to find it. I have been excited to see your Asia comparisons compared to the Europe series! Awesome videos!
Nope, you haven't missed it :) We are currently back in Thailand now and wanted to wait to do a complete cost breakdown comparing our time of northern Thailand city life vs southern beach life. That video will be out in late April.
Great video!!! Would you mind sharing a link to the place you stayed in for a month for $390? Please and thank you 🙏 Carrie mentioned it’s only 5 minute walk to the beach so that’s right up our alley (hubby & myself)
@@BrianandCarrie sorry I didn’t see it there but will double check. Thanks for replying. You both have inspired us to travel internationally. My husband is afraid to fly long flights. I wasn't able to see where you stayed for the month in this video. You did mention that you were going to have the link here but I don't see it. Might be my old eyes lol.
We really didn't notice any street dogs while in Vietnam. As a country, Vietnam is more advanced than some may believe. We really enjoyed out experience while there.
Great Video. Is there plenty of nice restaurants and coffee shops with walking distance of the hotel? Also we’re you there in Feb or March. Looks like a great place for a month
There were plenty of restaurants and coffee shops within a couple blocks of our place, and we were only about a 15-minute walk to the main beach area as well. We were there for 30 days leaving on March 12th. Cheers!!🍻
Hi Adriana! Thank you so much for continuing to follow along on our journey :). You live in such a beautiful country - we look forward to returning someday soon.

Your adventures look very intriguing and possibly some day of following your path. Out of curiosity about how many days did you see rain for the month? It was good that you pointed out the visa limits.
Hi, Garry. We probably had rain about half the time, but most days were cloudy. The rain wouldn't last all day but we would get rain in the morning. It did get really nice just before we left in early March so that would be a good time to visit. It is now sounding like the visa limits are going to change in the coming months to 90 days. So stay tuned on that!! Thank you for watching!! Cheers!!🍻
Could we please ask what was the name of the apartments you stayed in Dang. What a beautiful couple, my wife and I are looking at Vietnam to retire to in several years from now. She wants to still work and being an English teacher I am sure she will find something that suits her there. Have you looked into the cost of rental properties ?
When we went to Vietnam the only visa available at the time was 30 days. We wanted to go to Halong Bay so decided to stay in the north. I was disappointed in the Pac-12, but it was inevitable after USC and UCLA left. It will help with recruiting I believe. Deboer lost 3 games in 2 years, went to the title game and had the 30th and 29th (when he left) recruiting classes in the nation. Jedd Fisch after 6 months and zero games has the 19th best class for 2025 so far. Fisch and crew are better recruiters, yes but being in the B1G helps. GO DAWGS!!
You must be mistaken on the price for the taxi from Hanoi Airport to the French Quarter for $3.50. It's about 13 miles and had to $15 or more. Perhaps you meant 350k VND.
Vietnam is great. Love Hanoi. Went to Halong Bay a few times. Never overnight. Nah!! Instead would do the Hai Giang Loop motorcycle tour with Cheers Hostel. Was awesome!! $420. 3 days. Everything included, including driver.
I have T-mobile international plan and I can use my phone anywhere. It's just not the fastest But it works just fine - and when I find a place with Wifi I connect to that. Also, have you guys heard of Safety Wing?
We could have chosen to keep our cell service in the states but the cost was way higher than we wanted to spend. Doing it the way we do it, we typically only pay on average about $10 per month per phone. I (Carrie) actually just added safety wing onto my coverage. It's a great option if you are younger (the cost is much less) or if you already have coverage in the States and only need "travel insurance". Thanks for watching! Cheers 🍻
We rented our place in Da Nang through Airbnb and had to pay in advance. If you would like to check out the place we stayed, you'll find the link in the video description. Thanks so much for watching!!
Thanks for the cost details…… am now very interested in traveling to Vietnam…. Carrie, do u get your hair done also or you’re a DIY? Am looking fl to traveling the world sat a much slower pace.
Hi Ann, thanks so much for watching! I take care of my own hair because it's thin and doesn't grow fast. But there have been plenty of great salons pretty much everywhere we've traveled.
You definitely could’ve saved by taking the local bus from Danang to hoi an I believe it was under a dollar when I did it 6 to 7 years ago and there was a bus every hour
Nice video! I've read numerous comments elsewhere about construction noise being an annoyance in the fast-growing expat area of Da Nang. What was your experience?
I'm getting ready to book my Vietnam stay in Da Nang and the link to your accommodations seems to be missing. Have you changed your mind about the place? If not, what was the name of the condo? Thanks!!

Thank you for sharing this video, I do enjoy the break-down of your costs while traveling. One question for you both, how do you manage your phone plan? Do you have a US phone plan that you use as your base plan and also while visiting family in the US and then purchase SIM cards for each country that you visit, as you did in Vietnam? Obviously the phone number changes as you replace the SIM card, is this a problem as you move between countries trying to communicate with family and friends? I am currently using Google FI and after being out of the US for almost 3 months currently, Google is going to suspend my international data soon which is a huge problem, so I think it is time to search out other options. Thanks, Jamie
Hi Jamie! So sorry for the late reply, we were off the grid for the last week on a family cruise ☺. For our phones, we have Google Voice. This gives you a local number from the States and stays with you no matter what SIM Card you use. While home I just order a SIM card from Amazon or get one at Best Buy. This last time home we used Ultra SIM and it worked great and was on $19 for a month. Hope that helps! Cheers 🍻
Yes, we use Capital One Visa at convenient stores, restaurants and for our accommodations. You will need cash for street food and other small items. We use Charles Shwab for ATM withdrawals which has worldwide free ATM fees.
Hi there Great video thanks. In regards to accommodation in de nang, did you pre book? I just checked and they want aud$64 per night. Maybe it’s cheaper if I book when I get there?
We were there in February, so the price is likely lower than it is at the height of the tourist season. We booked through Airbnb in advance for 28 days which also gets us a discount.
Hello guys. Could you please recommend hotels in Hanoi, Da Nang and Hoi An ? If you have an idea about hotels in Saigon, please let me know. Thank you in advance.
Hi Antonio! We put a link for each of the places we stayed in the video description of each specific location. We really liked the places we stayed and thought they were a great value for the money and had a good location. Thanks for watching!
Is Vietnam 30-days tourist visa on arrival or by application? Surely there is a visa cost? I did the Intrepid Travel Bike Vietnam (Hanoi to Saigon) tour in 2012, quite physical biking over those mountain passes but the scenery was spectacular and we got much closer to the people and rural life being on the bike and off the beaten track.
That sounds like a fantastic trip, Ian. We will return to Vietnam in the spring of 2024, a beautiful country. You can do a visa on arrival or online. We would recommend doing it online. The process is easy and it will save you time and money. We explain the process in the video ill link below. Thank you for watching! Cheers!!🍻 th-cam.com/video/29-w_C_sZ9Q/w-d-xo.html

Cheers!!🍻
Great prices indeed for rent! and that hotel in Da Nang looks great. Thanks for sharing, very helpful info.
Thank you for watching, Bao!!
Cheers!!🍻
I am planing 2 month visit to Thailand and Vietnam flowing your steps exactly same places and same experiences
Thank you for your great videos
Your friend

We hope you have a great trip! Happy travels, Adam!
Thanks for the breakdown, you two. I hadn’t really considered Vietnam as a destination (more of a Europe person) but this makes me want to explore the country. Looks beautiful.
If you are a picky person , Vietnam is not a good destination for you .
What is there to be picky about. Friendly people, great food, culture, beaches, sunshine. Sounds good to us.
Sounds like you have a wonderful plan in place! We can't wait to make it down to Mexico later in the year. Cheers and thanks so much for watching 😊
Cheers!!🍻
Retired expat living in Thailand. Been to Vitnam numerous times. Love it.
Great video.
Thank you, Bruce!
@@BrianandCarrie we have a tour in November. But looking at your analysis can add another in late July. 8 days Hanoi ( 3 days Hai Giang Loop), 14 days Danang.
Love your videos!!
That sounds like a fantastic trip! We look forward to going back early spring 2024!
We loved your breakdown costs! Super informative and spot on. We as well loved Vietnam and look to return there one day. Keep grinding, you two are awesome!!! 😊😊
Thanks you two!! We are loving our adventures and have no plans to stop anytime soon!! 😀
Cheers!!!🍻
I am on my eay to Hanoi right now!
This video has been so helpful. I’ve booked a weeks holiday in the old town area and now I’m very excited about going 😊
So happy you found it helpful - we absolutely loved our time in Vietnam, hope you do as well ☺
Good video 👍🇬🇧
Glad you enjoyed it, thanks for watching!!
I live in Ha Long and these costs are spot on. Well done. Hurry back!
Thank you, we look forward to getting back to Vietnam. So much more to explore. Cheers!!
Cheers!!🍻
Thanks for the Health Insurance tip.
I really like your breakdown of costs. This is the most important for me when looking at places to visit.
Vietnam has been the least expensive country we have visited and we plan on returning next year. Thank you for watching and safe travels!
Cheers 🍻
Can't wait to return to Vietnam .. so affordable .. if you get a chance next time , don't miss Ninh binh .. stunning area. My husband particularly liked Bia hoi down on the corner , at 8am.😂🍺🍺.. loved Can thou on the Mekong as well , although anywhere you go is just magic 🙏🌺🌴🇻🇳🥢☕️❤️ 11:14
We have decided to return spring of 2024 to explore all that we were unable to see this year. Beautiful country!! Thank you for watching and commenting!
Cheers!!🍻
Just an excellent video. Thanks. Next?
Thank you for watching!! Next week is Koh Samui, Thailand!
Cheers!!🍻
@@BrianandCarrie So, do you figure that the reduced monthly costs cover your air travel to and from SE Asia?
We have a yearly budget so we try to balance it out the best we can. We would be flying someplace in the world regardless but the living cost does help.
🍻
@@BrianandCarrie Thanks. South America next?
After SE Asia we head home for a month then Mexico and possibly central America!
When you get back to Vietnam I would love to see Da Lat. For me I think the climate would be more comfortable.
It is a beautiful country that is very affordable. We could stay for a few months but don't think we would take up permanent residency.
Very clear and accurate!! Thanks for sharing!
Thank you for watching!! ❤
Great information!! It is a lot more expensive than expected but considering you guy didn’t try to cut back it is an excellent value.
It was an excellent value! We really enjoyed Vietnam and plan to return in 2024!! Thank you for watching and commenting.
Cheers!!🍻
You guys should visit Nha Trang, Quy Nhon, and Hue
We plan to come back next year and will add those to the list, thank you for the suggestions 😊.
Thanks, love following your travels.
Thank you, Leeanne, we very much appreciate the support!!! ❤
Nice job y'all, great info. Thanks!
Thanks so much for watching 😊
Ok, I just added Vietnam! I’ll fly to Bangkok for 30 days, then Cebu, Philippines for 30 days, then Vietnam for 30 days and then onto Tokyo to catch the cruise 🚢 to Seattle (if I can afford it).
Hi Carrier and Brian loved the video as always just doing a refresher before our visit. You mentioned using grab do you need to have a local sim card to use this app or can you use your home number? Enjoying your new videos as well happy safe travels.🤗
Hi! If you just download the app, you can use your current number. Enjoy your trip 😊
Great Video... as usual. Keep 'em coming. 🍻

Really enjoyed the video! Those prices were AMAZING!! 😮. Loved the bloopers at the end. 😂🤣. Can’t wait to see where your next adventure is!
Thanks, Lorrie 😊 - Those prices are pretty hard to beat! We've made our way to southern Thailand and are really excited to share this area as well. Thanks for watching!!
Great Video, very informative, plus top notch presentation.
Thank you so much!! 😀
Thanks for recommending Hsuites. Any tips for streetfood in the area?
You're very welcome 🤗. We found some great areas by looking at reviews online... Unfortunately I don't recall the names.
always love the cost breakdown videos 😀 Definitely such a value for money destination!! How far in advance do you book your Airbnbs?
It truly is! We are looking at coming back sometime in the spring of 2024. This time we will explore the southern region. Thank you for watching!!

Thanks for another great video Brian and Carrie. Very informative, as always. Enjoy your next destination 😊
Thanks, Tony! Thank you for watching - Cheers 🍻

Thank you guys, this vlog is going to help a lot in planning our upcoming trip ! Did you play golf ?
We did not play golf. We just ate good food and explored our surroundings. Vietnam is a beautiful country that we will see more of next year. Thank you for watching our videos and safe travels!
Cheers!!🍻
Did I miss the Thailand cost comparison? I can’t seem to find it. I have been excited to see your Asia comparisons compared to the Europe series! Awesome videos!
Nope, you haven't missed it :) We are currently back in Thailand now and wanted to wait to do a complete cost breakdown comparing our time of northern Thailand city life vs southern beach life. That video will be out in late April.
Ok, you talked me into it. Hubby, going to Vietnam!
You wont be disappointed! Thank you for watching, Deb.
Thank you so much for this video !
You are so welcome!
Great video!!!
Would you mind sharing a link to the place you stayed in for a month for $390? Please and thank you 🙏
Carrie mentioned it’s only 5 minute walk to the beach so that’s right up our alley (hubby & myself)
Thank you so much. The link is in the video description of our Da Nang video. Thank you for watching!

@@BrianandCarrie sorry I didn’t see it there but will double check. Thanks for replying. You both have inspired us to travel internationally. My husband is afraid to fly long flights. We stayed at the HSuites. Great place 😊
Great vid, very informative, can I ask you a question please. Did you see any street dogs in Da Nang or Hoi An?
We really didn't notice any street dogs while in Vietnam. As a country, Vietnam is more advanced than some may believe. We really enjoyed out experience while there.
@@BrianandCarrie Thanks heaps, we might fly across from Chiang Mai. I think there are a few there
What time of the year we’re you there and how was the weather? Thanks, excellent video
We were in Vietnam in Feb/Mar. Weather was good, and getting consistently better towards the end of our stay.
Cheers!!🍻
I am watching you since you visit my country Romania
Hi Adriana! Thank you so much for continuing to follow along on our journey :). You live in such a beautiful country - we look forward to returning someday soon.
Brilliant!
Thank you, Sherman!! 😃
Thank you so much for all these wonderful videos and information! We are planning to travel, what kind of carry on luggage would you recommend?
We use the Away larger carry-on luggage. We did a packing video recently that show which one it is. We have no sponsorship or affiliation with Away just so you know. 😀 Thank you for watching and safe travels!

Out of curiosity, why did your exclude Ho Chi Minh City? 😊
We only had a 30-day visa and we slow travel, meaning that we rent a place for a month to get a large discount. We plan on coming back to SE Asia in early 2024 and Ho Chi Minh City is on our list. 😀
Thank you for watching!!

Hello from Australia, Brian... I cannot see in " link below" where you stayed in hanoi !!!!. You said the French Quarter but you do not mention the name of the Hotel ??. Max.

My partner and I are from Perth Australia and we are looking at moving to Vietnam next year for one year, we plan to stay in Danang and then travel from there and would very much appreciate your Accommodationand other ideas. You are such a nice couple ❤
Thank you, Adriana! ☺❤
What a beautiful couple, my wife and I are looking at Vietnam to retire to in several years from now. She wants to still work and being an English teacher I am sure she will find something that suits her there.
Have you looked into the cost of rental properties ?
We did not look for long-term rental pricing, but we felt the value for our money went a long way.
We have a trip to Vietnam and Cambodia this year. But wondering why you chose not to visit Saigon?
What do you think of UW joining the Big 10?
When we went to Vietnam the only visa available at the time was 30 days. We wanted to go to Halong Bay so decided to stay in the north.
I was disappointed in the Pac-12, but it was inevitable after USC and UCLA left. It will help with recruiting I believe. Deboer lost 3 games in 2 years, went to the title game and had the 30th and 29th (when he left) recruiting classes in the nation. Jedd Fisch after 6 months and zero games has the 19th best class for 2025 so far. Fisch and crew are better recruiters, yes but being in the B1G helps. GO DAWGS!!
Grazie di queste informazioni!
Thank you for watching!!!
Cheers!!!🍻
You must be mistaken on the price for the taxi from Hanoi Airport to the French Quarter for $3.50. It's about 13 miles and had to $15 or more. Perhaps you meant 350k VND.
Vietnam is great.
Love Hanoi. Went to Halong Bay a few times. Never overnight. Nah!!
Instead would do the Hai Giang Loop motorcycle tour with Cheers Hostel. Was awesome!! $420. 3 days. Everything included, including driver.
That's a great suggestion! We've heard from others that have fine that motorcycle tour and loved it. Maybe on our next visit! Cheers 🍻
Cheers 🍻
Thanks :) Keep up the good work!
The apartment where you guys stayed in Da nang, was there any deposit, did they require deposit?
Amazing!
Nice video! I've read numerous comments elsewhere about construction noise being an annoyance in the fast-growing expat area of Da Nang. What was your experience?
Hi, Gary. There is a lot of development going on in Da Nang but the area that we stayed in was very quiet. Thank you for watching!!
Cheers!!🍻
Are you both retired? Very nice video. What state are you both from?
Hi! We did a video a while back that may help answer some of your questions 😊. Cheers!! th-cam.com/video/Cig7kaN386Y/w-d-xo.html
Was the weather bearable? I live in Florida and these summers here are unbearable
Yes, the weather while we were in Vietnam was nice.
Didn't mention the weather. How was it and what time of year?
The weather was good. We left first week in March, and it was getting even better!
Where did you stay in Danag , can I have the name of the property
Thank you
We stayed in the H Suits apartments, and they were great!
I'm getting ready to book my Vietnam stay in Da Nang and the link to your accommodations seems to be missing. Have you changed your mind about the place? If not, what was the name of the condo? Thanks!!

Got it..😂
Thank you for sharing this video, I do enjoy the break-down of your costs while traveling.
Cheers 🍻
Wow that’s dirt cheap for an entire month, fantastic! Cheers 🍻
Cheers, El Ricko! 🍻
Hello guys.
Can I use a WISE DEBIT CARD/VISA to pay for hotels, restaurants and taxis in Vietnan ?
Thank you for your help !
Yes, we use Capital One Visa at convenient stores, restaurants and for our accommodations. You will need cash for street food and other small items. We use Charles Shwab for ATM withdrawals which has worldwide free ATM fees.
Hi there
Great video thanks.
