The microtech button makes noise because it has a spring to stay floating, for smoother button slides with less friction, unlike cheaper buttons that are 100% part on part contact
Being in the UK I couldnt get one of these but I got a Boker Plus heinnie Haynes exclusive OTF comb. The hilt is identical on it to the klashnikov you have.
Save up for the Hogue counterstrike, it's worth it. No switch rattle, good heat treat, family business, beautiful, slim, and decent BTE thickness. For the price it's really good
It is absolutely so ridiculous that certain states have laws against carrying specific blades!! here in Texas, we don’t have any restrictions. I believe that every citizen should be able to carry they want.
I found some Kizer knives for less than $30-$40. Genie, Beglighter, vanguard, October, Rappids, and a couple others. Can someone tell me if this is a really good deal or not? It just seems to me like it is, but maybe I don’t know what I’m looking at?
Switchblades are illegal in my state if the blade is longer than 1 inch. I can understand making carrying them illegal, but the law prohibits owning/possession in your home. That’s outrageous!! I’m not craving a switchblade but I’d like to fidget one.
@@richardvirchow3390 I spend quite a bit of time in CT, have family there, and so I’ve perused the knife laws a bit. I knew that autos are restricted to 1.5”, and non-autos must be under 4” blade length. But owning an auto is perfectly legal, in fact it has been adjudicated in CT that the prohibitive knife laws WILL NOT apply in a home. (You can also CARRY ‘prohibited’ knives if you’re holding a hunting/fishing/trapping license - a handy loophole!) Here is the relevant language straight from the CT general statutes: State law defines certain knives as dangerous weapons and, with minor exceptions, makes it illegal to carry them on one's person or in a vehicle. The law does not prohibit mere possession of these weapons (i.e., possession in one's residence, according to the state Supreme Court). And it does not address sales and purchases. The state Supreme Court has ruled that the prohibition on carrying dangerous weapons contains an implicit exception for carrying a weapon in a residence or abode (State v. Sealy, 546 A2d 271, 208 Conn. 689 (1988)).
It does look a little ridiculous, like a pen knife sticking out of a hatchet handle. Not great design. That Kalshnikov handle screams “CHEAP MALL NINJA” anyway, so the ratio is irrelevant. If you must have a Boker OTF (not a great decision), the Kwaiken has a clean look at least, or the Boker/Hogue OTF has Hogue behind it. I suspect on this knife that Boker is “producing” these in the US but they are truly manufactured overseas - not the same as a knife truly made in the USA. Boker Plus is Taiwan/China so Boker Plus USA doesn’t really make sense. (Looks like Boker stopped making these altogether, which is not encouraging. There were a LOT of failure complaints on this model, idk if that’s a factor)

Böker makes great knives...
Very cool, good to see you.
Thanks for the video nice knife
Living in California can really suck sometimes.
What’s the blade made from?
Does anyone have his contact info? At least an email address.
sorry, I'm back now.
Damn I guess I have to buy another Kalashnikov.
Sounds very nice. Wish I could get one here in California 😢
Most people don't need a sandwich cut anyway by someone pulling out a knife from their pocket....
I owned one, on the 23rd opening the cheap pot metal internals failed.
Are there any issues with frame locks for lefties?
yeah, sometimes hard to open.
very cool!
Nice
You could buy otf knives for 5 bucks in the 90
Як ваші справи? Давно не випускаєте відео.. все нормально?
Awesome budget USA out the front blade.
Thanks for showing it.

So sad these are illegal in almost all European countries.😢

OTF and double sided NOT allowed in the Netherlands.

The blade to handle ratio is horrible
Lol... Yeah, it won’t cut butter because the handle is .4” too long.

We need more ads!! 🙄🙄🙄
These need manual safeties so they don't open in the pocket
If you try one, you will see they don't need a safety. Also, they don't deploy with much authority.
Why is it named after a Russian rifle? Because of the name I would never buy one.
