Have you ever wondered why Chinese people are so kind and well-mannered? Well, we got you covered, this is because they are taught to be kind to themselves and to strangers right when they were in school. I mean this is lovely. I love the fact that they were told to honour Africa because Africa is their blood brother. AMACING.
There is actually more to their kindness! This is rooted back to Confucius, who was a Chinese greatest philosopher. Confucius taught the people of his country to cultivate compassion and practice concern for others. He emphasised and insisted that extending virtues to others is the way to cultivate humanity. He once wrote “Act with kindness, but do not expect gratitude” - such a powerful virtue right? Yes it is.
Chinese are so cool. One day I entered Royal view hotel in Zunyi, Guizhou province last year and a particular gentleman offered me fresh fruits. He initially gave me a few, however, a few seconds later he decided to give me the whole plastic full of fresh fruits. I looked at him and I thought, what have I done to deserve this kind of gesture?
Another day, at a market in Guangzhou wanted to buy some electronics and as we were navigating the market, people there offered to make us coffee and asked us to take snacks from the baskets, for free, one picks as much as they want.
In Beijing a friend invited me to Beijing Foreign Studies University where I shot a video for this channel. Here are links to the two videos I made at Beijing Foreign Studies University (BFSU), in Beijing, offering 101 foreign languages as well as other fields of studies:
Part 1: • Welcome to the World o...
Part 2: • Welcome to the World o...
Chinese are just very very kind. If you want to attest to what am saying, please visit China and get to know the people for yourself.
Kindness goes along with honesty. So, Chinese people are again very very honest in their business dealings, general etiquette, and their conducts with strangers & foreigners. Moreover, there is no violence in China, one would navigate the streets in any city night or day and experience no harm/violent behaviour from any one.
Again, Confucious told the people of China and the world that one should obtain their fortunes reasonably and properly through their labour,” and not through fraudulence and cheating.” He emphasised honesty in daily behaviour. So, honesty is a moral virtue greatly valued by the Chinese.
A big thumbs up to Confucious. Confucius was an influential Chinese philosopher, political figure, and teacher whose message of knowledge, benevolence, loyalty, and virtue were the main guiding philosophy of China for thousands of years. His real name was Kong Qiu. Let’s read more on what his philosophy was all about for more and more wisdom.
At last, I would like to emphasise that "we all belong to one group", so let’s practice kindness to people around us, wherever we are and in whatever we do. I believe that it is our job as humans to make the world a better place for the next generations.
    THANK YOU FOR WATCHING.
