it is sad that he died only several months before the medical society discovered the right cocktail combination of antiviral drugs that helped to keep the virus dormant/inactive which was not at all cheap but definetly affordable to celebrities , if FReddie at least slowed down a bit in the 80's and did not completely destroyed his health and immune system , he could have lived much longer - like Magic Johnson for example, but those are all "IFs and BUTs" and then perhaps the Show Must Go On may be wouldnt happen

@@Officer1774 Agreed. Greatest Hits ii feels like an entirely different Queen from the first one. Is great to listen to their evolution through the years.
Probably my favorite Queen video. Freddie was so alive. The dude could brings enough energy in this video to light the world. And Brian May's tone is just ungodly good.
Fun fact: The guitar Freddie was playing at 3:23 is actually Brian's first ever guitar gifted to him by his parents in his 7th birthday prior being restored by Andrew Guyton years later after this video was shot. Noticed that the guitar had a similar body after watching the Red Special Book launch video.
bepis they couldn't afford an ELECTRIC guitar. Brian had that acoustic guitar for years, before building the Red Special. His father bought it when he realized Brian needed more than an ukelele.
You can see the change in Freddie 😊. He’s so happy, wearing his wedding ring, Jim made such a positive change in him, he was truly happy, found the love of his life. It’s still hard to believe he’s been gone for so long. But nothing will change, we’ll all still love Freddie and Queen, no doubt ever.
Wow. Beautiful song. One of my favorite! ❤️ It is special for me... I love it so much 😍 Cool lyrics, cool music and fantastic video 🎥❤️ Freddie's voice is like oxygen! I need it every day! And that's a great thing... 💚 Freddie was a genius of music, an artist 🎵🎶 Brian, another genius, who with his intellectual abilities wrote amazing songs 🎸 Roger, one of the coolest of the band, who with his falsetto and his high notes has embellished every song, as well as being a percussion wizard 🥁 🪄 John is a little underestimated by some, but I think he was a key piece of the puzzle too! 🎼 Just think that he wrote I Want To Break Free, one of the most famous and beautiful songs in the world! ❤️ I will always love these guys! 🤗 R. I. P. Freddie, always in our hearts 😌😓
My dad introduced me to Queen when I was 10 by downloading their greatest hits. Now I have all fifteen studio albums and I'm a bigger fan than he is. Strange how life works
That’s the way it was for me. My dad had night at the opera on vinyl and I asked him about it. He said “oh yeah! those guys are a great studio band”. They’ve been my favorite classic rock band for about 30 years now....
I loved Freddie Mercury, no one can replace him...Adam even gives him props repeatedly before and during this tour. What I think is that Adam gives a tremendous renewed life to the legacy that is Queen
***** You can`t compare Freddie`s voice with anyone!!! Adam has his own style, and is still growing in his abillities, I think in 3 or 4 years, you hear Adam, and compare it with today, he is so much better, but there is and will be only 1 Freddie Mercury, he was a one of a kind.
This is my second favorite video after Breakthrough and Freddie rocks so hard in both videos it's unbelievable given how sick he was at that point. brave, talented and a great soul...
ramram The music kept him going, I'm thinking probably longer than if he hadnt had it. And the support of bandmates, keeping the music coming, ya know? They were protective of him to the end.
@@wreckofthehesperas8323 Protective even after death. They, especially May, was hands on with the making of the movie. It was not only how you introduced a Rock legend 25 yrs after his death but how to present him as Freddy would have liked. Freddy placed identity in what he did in life, what he was - a musician, and front man. Everything else did not define him. What defined him was his life profession. He did not want to be remembered as that Gay/bi musician. Simply as a musician. The rest was secondary and did not define him. That is why LQBQ have a hissy fit with the movie because Queen and the directors went with what FREDDY insisted in life and to project THAT in the film, not some PC/Identity Politics
Everytime I watch Queen videos, I keep thinking...if medicine would have been at the stage where it is now, he could have kept HIV under control and could have made so many more groundbreaking songs...
His intensity is down quite a bit compared to videos and performances where he's well, yet he still gave every ounce of strength he could muster. Respect, Mr. Mercury. 💪❤

Freddie knowing he doesn’t have long putting everything into every song for his Fans ! And we love him forever !

Wrong. The Red Special was Brian's first guitar
AtomicGamerzUk no no, the red special was the guitar he built with his father
Jamiilaa K Yes, and that was his first ever guitar. His family couldn't afford a guitar so they made one

It’s still hard to believe he’s been gone for so long. But nothing will change, we’ll all still love Freddie and Queen, no doubt ever.

Freddie was a genius of music, an artist 🎵🎶
Brian, another genius, who with his intellectual abilities wrote amazing songs 🎸 Roger, one of the coolest of the band, who with his falsetto and his high notes has embellished every song, as well as being a percussion wizard 🥁 🪄

Freddie is a legend.
ramram The music kept him going, I'm thinking probably longer than if he hadnt had it.
