They also got other things wrong in the movie as well but it doesn’t really matter as the movie was great. The music is brilliant and Freddie will always in my eyes be the best singer in history and Queen being the best band in history
28 years ago, on 24th November, 1991, an angel was called home, and that angel was Queen's legendary frontman, singer, songwriter, multi- talented, and hero, Freddie Mercury.
Olajuwon Ayo-Omobo we all wish we could, I always think of him when I listen to his song “Only The Good Die Young” he did pass too soon wow I could have met this legend before he left too soon🙏🏼😭😓
After starting in 1976 , seeing the genius,8 times live, 1986 being the last time, live in Paris, because Wembley, was sold out, but I’m so glad, I saw , this wonderful showman, in my youth ❤
Roge did say that although he wrote this for his kids, the song took on a different, unspoken meaning. One that needed no explanation. “Goodbye..” in song. ❤️
Happens a lot. If you listen to some Alice In Chains songs while Layne Staley was dying, Down in a Hole was written by Jerry Cantrell, but watch the unplugged version and tell me Layne isn’t making it his song...
Brian May once commented on this song and the video. "His saying Goodbye in this video. His saying Goodbye to his Family, to his friends and most especially to his fans." 😭
@This is my B00Mstick no. His last song was Mother's Love. Brian May sang the last verse of the song because Freddie died before it was finished. And the colored version is not aa leaked video. It was part of the "Days Of Our Lives" documentary by Queen. It that documentary they said lots of things about their journey up to Freddie's death. They also expressed their anger to the man who took pictures of Freddie looking pale and Roger calling the man a "wanker". They also talked about in the video how they protected Freddie during his last years of fighting aids. Saying "F*ck you" to reporters who repeatedly asks about Freddie's real condition at that time. And lastly the most hearbreaking part is when Roger cried while telling the interviewer about Freddie's last hours and how he was not able to make it to come to Freddie's side moments before he died. 😭
Love of my life: “ To remind you how I still love you, I still love you...” Radio Ga Ga: “ Someone still loves you...” These are the days of our lives: “ I still love you “
This was Freddie's last appearance on camera, just a couple months after making this he passed away. Freddie could barely stand at this point, but when the cameras rolled he still found the strength to perform, to give one last gift to the world.
Show must go on. It seems like this song is anthem of all the people in terminal state of illness that still find it in themselves to use every single day, hour, minute and second of the time they have left.
My dad passed away 2 days ago. My aunt just sent me this song havnt heard before. I love you dad. See you in the after times. I know you are up there with grandpa and uncle Norman and aunt Lydia.❤ time changes so fast, enjoy the little moments and the big ones too.
The fact that he's close to death, with his body surely wracked with pain there at the end & was still able to pull off an amazing performance here, is perfect testament to just how great he truly was.
Yes. Twenty-eight years of AIDS Research & Development could have been enough to find a cure for AIDS, the disease that took this amazing man from us!! More of Freddie's estate (and royalties) should be put towards the AIDS fight. MODERATOR, PLEASE DO NOT DELETE MY COMMENT. FREDDIE (RIP) ALWAYS SAID WHATEVER HE WANTED. SO DO I.
Even though I wasn’t born during Queen’s prime time, their music has changed the music industry and has inspired lots of artists. Thank you for all the great years Freddy we will all miss you.❤❤❤
It's interesting to watch the expressions on Roger's and Brian's faces. They knew he was dying. They'd look at him and smile. These men were more than band mates. They were friends, and they loved each other. Joel Zimmerman (Deadmau5) said "If you can impact one person with your music then it is pretty much worth it." Freddie impacted millions of people. He's still impacting people with his music. It was worth it. We still love you, Freddie.
I come back to this video regularly because I know it was his last. His goodbye sits so heavy in my heart. Which is so strange since this is a man I never knew. But he had a huge impact on so many. I was born in 1988, I was long past the prime of Queen. They are just so amazing.

In the "making of" this song you can crearly see the sadness in all of them. 😢
Especially Brian at the end...he tries to smile but he looks like he is holding back tears :-( For anyone who jad lost a loved one to this or cancer or similar wasting illnesses, it kills you every day to see the once vibrant and healthy person being wasted away by cancer or AIDS :-(

But he did think he really had aids in 1986 only to be confirmed one year later. I can see where you are coming from though as in the movie they did say he knew he had HIV aids before. Well one of his band mates said that in a way this was Freddie's goodbye he was taking from us too early.

Roge did say that although he wrote this for his kids, the song took on a different, unspoken meaning. One that needed no explanation.
“Goodbye..” in song. ❤️
'These are the days of our lives' is the song roger wrote that your referring to
Happens a lot. If you listen to some Alice In Chains songs while Layne Staley was dying, Down in a Hole was written by Jerry Cantrell, but watch the unplugged version and tell me Layne isn’t making it his song...

"His saying Goodbye in this video. His saying Goodbye to his Family, to his friends and most especially to his fans."

He looks so ill. What an entertainer ❤️❤️❤️
Freddie's wearing a silk vest with hand painted portraits of his cats. I miss him. A great showman.
