Thanks for sharing your deer feeder build. I am working on replacing my existing ones. I am done climbing on my tub and ladder. I will be building some like yours. Again thank you for a great video! Have a Great Day!
Great video. I think I can build one now. Do you put a funnel in the bottom of your barrel? Also, whT gap do you use between the bottom cone and the spinning tray? Thanks.
Really nice man, but gotta use better timers. All season feeders make nice ones that come with “The Timer” those things are reliable, had one for over twenty years and the only reason it stopped working was because a hog knocked over my feeder and demolished the timer
Great video, I showed it to my Ag Mech classes. Do you actually bolt or weld any bracket on the barrel to the frame or does the barrel just sit on there?
I was just talking to my brother about building one of these so we dont have to use a ladder to fill feeders ill be building 1 this weekend we hunt in hillsboro tx not to far from you
Thanks. So you can keep everything the same if you want longer legs and the only thing that will change is the length of your legs and the length of skis. I would just measure for your ski once you attached the longer legs. The 22.5 degree gives you a wide base and it’s stable. Hope it helps
I don’t have bears other than the gummy ones so I really don’t know. I was asked to build one for a guy and he recommended putting spikes on it and on top but I opted not to attempt it. So I can’t confirm or deny.

Love the build we definitely use it for my next deer feeders
Man I wish I would have found this video sooner. I spent wayyyyyyyy to much money on store bought feeders and their junk. Nothing beats hand made!
This is exactly the video I was looking for. Gonna build some of these throughout the summer for deer season. Thanks brother!
Great video thanks so much for posting. You have inspired me to build one. Beats the heck out of carrying a ladder to fill the feeders.
Excellent video. Awesome fabrication!
that thing is sweet!! great video
Damn fine job
excelente video great craftmans ship. made it look easy as 1-2-3.
Like It A Lot . The Damn Bear Will Stave It Up Tho "in my neck of the woods" .

Great video!
You mentioned you have a jig for the feeder legs. I would like to see a photo of the jig you made to hold the feeder legs in place while you weld it.
Nice work.

Nice job buddy!
Nice work!!!
Nice feeder. Do you have any suggestions on what tool to buy to bend 1 1/2 square tubing for legs for a barrel
?
Fine job.
Thanks man very good.
Thanks I hope it helps!
Nice job sir! Do you use a funnel inside of your barrels?

How did you make a jig for the legs the only problem I’ve had is getting the legs at the same distance from one another. Thanks for the video!
Nicely constructed. Have you experience if feeder that low will withstand wild hogs? Especially when almost empty..
Nice job well done
What is the total length of angle iron needed
Great video. How much for one. And do you put a funnel inside of the barrel.
Nice man
Thank you for a great video and design. What do you use to clean the iron before painting?
How much do you sell these for? They look great! N
Thanks! Just for the bases around 400$ and all put together with either with a 6v or 12v depending on additional accessories ranges from 500-600$
Thanks. They look great!

What size barrel are you using? Also what gauge horse panel are you using? Thanks, LinemanG
What are the length of the pices
Awesome job and slick idea.
What size (2”x2” maybe) and wall thickness of Angle iron do you prefer.
Tnx very much
Thanks! It is 1/8” thick angle iron. I don’t find it necessary to use anything heavier for this it is stout
Do you sell just the base??
How much are these?
Great video, I showed it to my Ag Mech classes. Do you actually bolt or weld any bracket on the barrel to the frame or does the barrel just sit on there?
I’ll will put a few tack welds on barrel down to the base. Thanks!!
How much. How long does a build take you

awesome work! What work pants do you use?
Some carhartt rugged work pants is my fav
Great Video. Just what I was looking for. If I build one with longer legs would that change any angles or cuts ?

@@haysfab6087 yes sir it does. Thank you
Where are you located bud?
I am looking for the latch pin you are using. My local welding supply places don't carry them. Where did you get yours from?
Hendsons Metal
Cresson Tx
Very nice. How much money do you have tied up into one of those feeders? How heavy are they?
There is about 100$ in materials not including the timer.
They weigh around 70-80 pounds before you add your corn.
How about if you had cows? Seems like they might knock it over
You could use mobile home tie downs and concrete them in the ground
WHY YOU PUT FOR SALE IN AMAZON?
I WANT 2 ...THANKS
Do you think it will hold up from a bear. I'm trying to do something different this year because of the bears.
I don’t have bears other than the gummy ones so I really don’t know. I was asked to build one for a guy and he recommended putting spikes on it and on top but I opted not to attempt it. So I can’t confirm or deny.
Location please
Do you have a email address that I can contact you at?
Too much fancy work for something that just slings corn out.
