Oh my god, THANK YOU SO, SO MUCH for making this guide, I've been trying to help a friend that plays NGS getting into PSO2 since he found it overwhelming and after sharing him this guide he finally understood how to progress and what to be careful with (Mag and Skill Points) and he doesn't feel as overwhelmed as before Now if only SEGA gave incentives to play PSO2 more because I barely see new players, and it makes it hard for them to get multiparties for lower-leveled UQs (at least for Ship 1)

Great video! I hope that Sega one day decides to bring back Mission Pass for base PSO2. That way getting the really cool affixes will actually feel more atainable.

not much to add here, good guide, many base game veterans including myself (ship 4)often hang in the lobby to help new players, so if you are new to base game don't be shy to ask for help / tips, unlike ngs we don't afk in the lobby to showcase our credit card capabilities or roleplay degenrate stories, we actually help people ^^
Bruh! Where was this when I started last year?!? EDIT: I appreciate dude, i wish i jad this as i messed up SO much last year. Until NGS can have the same complexity as PSO2, PSO2 will be the better game for people who enjoy sinking their teeth into game sustems. They won't because being a "braindead grind" works with normies and casuals.
I feel the same I haven't touched pso2 ngs after I played for a hour,the class are bad,cross classing with a subclass is way worse then base pso2 and the story is so bad...
Great guide, although in the future i would reccomend segmenting the guide more as while the information is correct, the speed of the video is a bit high and might overload a brand new face with info especially once you start making 85+ guides
Damn! love that there still a guide on the base game, after watching u vods I kinda want to play it again so I got some question - base pso didnt have many player right now so is it hard to clear high difficulty quest by yourself? - If my goal is to get end game gear in base to clear end game content , is there a way to farm meseta right now with the current state of base pso (I assume the market are kinda die in base or do i have to play ngs to farm meseta?) - If I wanna play base do u suggest Global or JP? which have more active player on base or it kinda both dead lol
@@sm.f4671 1. it will be harder but not unfeasible. There are still some deficated players and if you can find them to help your progression it will be much better. 2. Meseta farming is basically cradle nonstop and I have a video covering that. 3. JP base is omega dead since the game had been already available for them for 8 years before ngs. Global is less dead and some of the dedicated players i know of are still actively playing

i felt ngs content dry sometimes and so i play PSO1 and Universe along with portable 2 Infinity but i still barely played Base PSO2 since becase i dont see anyone there and possibly could be because pso2 somewhat have more similar mechanics from PSO1 and PS:Universe now i somewhat knew what this tutorial talk about especially the way it works

There isn’t any “unlock requirements ” for urgent outside of reaching the required level for each difficulty tier. Almost every UQ has various difficulty tiers to cover all level range. The only problem is that there may not be enough people for low difficulty UQ.
I’m confused. I played base pso2 a lot but what was the point of new genesis. I know you said it’s basically the sequel to pso2 but what’s the difference? If it’s the new game why are people still playing the base game? Is NG bad or something?
I already experienced all of base PSO2 when it came out in global. It still has better content, but it's the same level of stale for me, especially since I'm solo. The base classes also feel awful compared to playing Scion.

yeah, mission pass capsules are no longer obtainable which is a pain, and I'm open to endgame augments being more accessible.

Not a lot. Most players are in NGS, and in base even the most populated ship 1 can’t fill 1 block.

NGS's combat is based on PSO2's but they are not quite the same. Some people still prefer PSO2's combat so they stick with the old game.
