sega really has to make a permanent campaign for base pso2 where all the cras units and 1 cras weapon is given out for free fully unlocked to help newer players getting into endgame or better yet the inferior version to grind to cras
Awesome Guide, I was on hiatus when ngs launch (cos avx problem), now I can play again, but completely forgot what to do, this guide helped me to remember
Well, pso2 hasn’t gone anywhere. It’s still 100% playable and there’s still tons of players playing it every single day. I agree they should bring back some things they took away…..but how can they “bring back” a game that is still alive, online, and has its own playerbase?
Also just a really important advice from my own experience: NEVER PUT SKILL POINTS ON DEFENSE unless the class needs it. Put some points in Defends skill tree in Ranger class, biggest mistake in my life.
Yeah, flat stats on skill trees is only worth taking IF you've taken other more useful skills, and ranger's tree doesn't have excess skill points to be spent on flat stats
@@124san This isn't entirely true, but it's a good general rule. Notably offensive stat bonuses (not Dex) get added to your base attack and benefit from multipliers. This along with a number of classes having a few bad skills can make it very worthwhile to pick them up instead. Another exception is when using classes purely for their subclass value, though that's rather self evident. Good video though.
Thank you, in the upcoming hearing guide you referenced will you be able to shed some light on how to get things like Founder’s amphirite and other ultimate weapon items?
@@124san Thank you, I’ve been doing some research on my own and so far Ove only been able to get one amphirite from taking out persona 10 times for the title other than that I can’t seem to get a concrete answer from folks online other than they used to be promo items or old mission pass
@@PolluxStrike that's the only guaranteed way of getting amphirite as of now iirc. Other than that HTPD drops tons of them once you are capable of clearing it.
Of note on bonus keys, strictly speaking converting Gold Keys is less efficient than using the Silver Keys. When I was grinding classes to 100 I tested how much XP a Gold Key gives in comparison to a Silver and the answer is ~3 Silvers, so converting to Gold is a loss of ~ 2 Silver Keys. PSO2 Day makes this worthwhile because it gives a the XP Boost, making a PSO2 Day Gold Key worth 6 non-PSO2 Day Silver Keys, but you are going to want to make sure that you do not convert non-expired Silver Keys if you want to squeeze as much XP out of them as you can.
Ah, I was wondering why my levelling had gone to a screeching halt lately. I'm level 78 currently and that graph explains a lot. Why the hell is the levelling curve like that anyway?
You can use certain skills for fast moving around in base pso2. Here's a list of some of the skills for class/weapons that you can use to move fast. wired lance : spin dance katana : morning mistreaver ranger : rocket rodeo type-0 (crafted) gunner : grim barrage bouncer : grand wave For Technique-capable classes (Force, Techer, Bouncer, Summoner, Hero, and Phantom) : Ilzonde/Safoie Type-0 *** Try them it's really fun to move around fast using the skills something they didn't implement on ngs, *** All of these photon arts for mobility can be used with a cancel of some sort (like a dodge or weapon action) to skip the offensive parts of the animation and simply maximize the mobility portions for traveling. * note : some pa's like rocket rodeo and safoie needs to be custom crafted before they can be effectively used. the crafted versions of those pa's are called ..x type-0. * Early on if you don't have the pa's yet use DASH - JUMP to get some movement. cuz running is just slow. For this put a point in the sidestep jump in the skill tree. It's available for all class skill tree. But don't rely on it for too long use the movement pa's. * Now there is a multiclass katana weapon (multiclass weapon=equippable by all classes regardless) called Helen Bathina, it allows you to use morning mistreaver to all classes. God tier mobility tool for all classes. It is available on jp server, don't know if it was released on global. It's not in the NA arks vishiphone database as of now. * While we are on the subject of multiclass weapons. There are quite a few of them available that can be used as utility tools. example, blood react jet boots allows you to use shifta. And Iclusio Culte talis allows you to use shifta and its potential casts deband when casting shifta, so you get both on one single cast. (shifta increases atk, deband increases defense they are buffing skills). And there are more of these multiclass weapons find out what cool skills they allow and implement them in your play. Fun stuff when you know.

its asking me for lambda grinders for enhancement. how do you get those?
One of the best pso2 guides I've seen. Great job!

Sega should bring back base PSO2
They could updated pso2 graphics and added new ship/hub for global launch then after 3 to 4 years announced psu2 that would of be awesome
@@goldenrevolt2440 ikr that would be cool

pso2 stayed at lv75 for a very long time in JP. Lv80 cap was a huge update

Hi there , would make a vedio how to level up solo ? Because there is no parties leveling like before and i am stuck in 50s
I’ll make a video about recommended quest 4 and leveling in the range of 50-75
It died just as quickly as it lives :[
Should I even play this one? Or just go to the new one?
Will suggest giving both a try. Tho atm base pso2 is harder to get into cuz sega isnt supporting new players for base
dead game 😔
