Wow it’s definitely turned out to be a wow factor of a camp set up on your Jimny. I’m sure lots of people would definitely agree with me on this one those two little seats in the back of the Jimny are a waste of space. This has definitely given me a great idea for a touring vehicle. I can not wait to get my self a Jimny not long now to wait . Looking forward to seeing your next video Daz thanks for sharing this with us

Well they came after to give us a run for our money. But honestly they’re so different. Mine is a rock crawler with the ability to load up the canopy and go camping/touring. It’s build for hard tracks with the bonus of the camping option. There’s is built as a mini landcruiser purely for touring. The canopy isn’t removeable so it’s not such an off-road vehicle as it is more a tourer. They’ve done a great job on it and I love that they’re both completely different builds.

Love this set up! I would probably want a 100-150mm chassis stretch to put the rear axle in the middle of the load bed but this set up is so cool! Whats your kerb weight when ready to travel?
Hey mate I haven’t officially weighed it loaded up. Empty tray and canopy is only 10kg heavier than a stock jimny. Obviously a bit of weight in accessories and canopy fit out on top of that though.

Thankyou mate. I’d love to get a breakdown but unfortunately DMW haven’t given me that info. I guess for them it’s about doing the full package. It is about $6k less to just to the tray without the canopy though 😊

Hey mate mine was built before the Toyzuki and has also been at all the shows 😊 Came up with the idea a few years ago and sketched it out and built it early this year. Very different to toyzuki though as in mine is a rock crawler with a removeable canopy set up, whereas there’s is a mini Toyota concept car for the giveaway. They’ve done a great job with it 😊

Several things….. my car had a damaged rear so was technically a write off if I didn’t do anything. As a ute it’s an incredible rock crawler, not even comparable to any regular jimny. There’s sooooo much more useable space then the rear cargo area of a stock jimny, I can fit so much more than I could before. Also, you can’t ‘legally’ run a RTT on a stock jimny, with this I can. There was a lot of things that lead to this so for me it was the perfect solution 😊
