A very good documentary but interesting that some people never need to cook for themselves and have a loyal cook who cooks for them every single day. They need to be thankful to all those services offered and return the gratitude received to many.

For the vast majority in the royal family grew up with certain things experiences. Just like being born into a very poor family kids are also born into very rich families. The chef seems so humble and kind. I hope he is doing well. As for today, now we know how the queen and some of the royal family members have lasted for over 70, 80, almost 100 years alive! By eating healthy, organically, and small meals (no throwing away food, just prepare and eat what you have) which is ridiculously amazing, most millionaires, billionaires go to restaurants and leave food on their plates, without a care in the world. As for the farm Prince Charles has, that is amazing too! I have a small organic garden near my kitchen. It's been years since I have eaten out. The last time I did go out, my stomach ached and ended up at the hospital. I don't eat meat anymore. But really don't mind when others enjoy it, it's their culture and preference and that's okay. The media report on the day the Queen almost ate "rat-like animal" was off-putting. The media should not be shaming anyone for their food preference. The chef, Graham Newbould, is kind-hearted, skilled, and so meticulous. He must have worked killer hours under multiple pressures, and retained kindness. I wonder what pay he received.
So would I! I love cooking and trying new recipes. The chicken dish was absolutely achieved. I don’t know about the lobster sauce, but boy it smelled absolutely gorgeous. You can understand that I smelled it from Australia…. Well I would love to get a chance to try making something similar.
The precision & the opulence are both so amazing to see. And to prepare that quantity of food for specific service times is also amazing. As he said, you can’t keep the Queen waiting. But, the other side of that is: you can’t serve the Queen cold food. So, timing is truly everything - neither too early, nor too late - & it must be quite relieving once everything is done & all went smoothly.

That was one of the best shows I've ever seen. THE cooks took such pride in their work as well they should. It was palpable. WHAT a wonderful way to live. I really don't envy the queen her hundreds of cars or her thoroughbred horses but the food I do and that is because-- wouldn't everyone want to Feast like a Queen or King everyday of the year? Such a life!

I grew up in a moderately well off family and I loved it when mum and dad had big dinners. There was a professional chef employed, he came with massive wooden boxes that were filled with all sorts of half prepared of delicious food. I used to be allowed to set the table and mum kept an eagle eye that everything was just so. My favourite item was to unpack the ice cream from its tomb of ice.
I’m not attempting to be critical of the royal family as people, I don’t have any reason to think they’re particularly bad people etc, but I think the royal family really and truly appreciate of even understand the reality of how much devotion they have from many people.
“Garlic and onions should be abolished!” I laughed so hard! I love Chef Graham’s humbleness in his preparation of food for the Royal Family. And the opportunity of going to Balmoral Castle in such beautiful surroundings is extraordinary. RIP Chef Newbould.😔
Very interesting the royals way of eating & how the ice cream was made and in small servings. Who’s gonna actually try some of these recipes 😂 I didn’t think I was going to learn anything from this video lol I am pleasantly surprised lol hats off to the chef 👨🍳
One of the Queen's favourite dishes was jellied eels. Prince Philip loved egg and chips whilst Charles just adored pie and mash. Anne was more of a fish and chips person.
Love how they show the different recipes and how they make them. It is kind of funny though how they talk about how fussy Charles is. I wonder what they’ll think of him being King now.
Videos like this one, I enjoyed it watching so much history all around. And as an ancient history lover, I do enjoy watching historical places, castles, museums paintings, and everything about ancient cultures and civilizations. It is fascinating and interesting. Rest in Peace, Your Majesty Queen Elizabeth, you are sorely missed and needed. 🙏🌹🌹♥️♥️
A few years ago I was on long weekend sailing my father in laws yacht in the scottish islands with him and my two brothers in law. In a very remote area in the Hebrides we came across the Royal Yacht Britannia and passed her. We were the only boats on the water. As we got within about a mile of each other a dinghy with two protection officers approached us and we got the message and kept our distance. But I recall looking at Britannia through binoculars and clearly saw the Queen on the upper deck looking at us with the Duke beside her also through glasses. I instinctively waved as we passed and the Queen appeared to say something to the Duke. To my absolute astonishment and delight the Duke waved back. I will never forget what seemed like such a friendly and genuine shared moment on the remote water enjoying the beautiful scenery of our islands together. God save the Queen!
Now I understand why the Royals achieve their old age: good, fresh healthy food and it looks so tasty. I appreciate very much the ecological farming of King Charles, condolences to the Royal family and the British people.
It is one of my dreams to visit the UK someday, to see Buckingham palace, such a historical Country & to see the country of our Commonwealth Queen, Elizabeth the 2th I am Polynesian, and Tonga is a part of the Commonwealth, by the way, my mum's great grandmother, was English aswel 🌹🙏💝 Love from Aotearoa, New Zealand 🙏❤️
To understand how the royals like their food is an insight into their history. For example, my dad's family would put vinegar in the mint sauce to make it last. Now I add vinegar too!!! Fried bread with the fry up too. Sad to hear about his passing
Its my first time to watch this, i am grateful ever how the chef share his experience in the royal palace. God bless and long live all of you here wonderful cooking chef is humble sharing what he prepares for the royal family.👋👋👋🙏🙏🙏😇😇😇🇵🇭

The chef, Graham Newbould, is kind-hearted, skilled, and so meticulous. He must have worked killer hours under multiple pressures, and retained kindness. I wonder what pay he received.
After doing a quick Google I found an article from 2019 and the salary was £22,076. If he was a head chef then he might've gotten more.

So would I! I love cooking and trying new recipes. The chicken dish was absolutely achieved. I don’t know about the lobster sauce, but boy it smelled absolutely gorgeous. You can understand that I smelled it from Australia….
Well I would love to get a chance to try making something similar.
What a waste
The precision & the opulence are both so amazing to see. And to prepare that quantity of food for specific service times is also amazing. As he said, you can’t keep the Queen waiting. But, the other side of that is: you can’t serve the Queen cold food. So, timing is truly everything - neither too early, nor too late - & it must be quite relieving once everything is done & all went smoothly.

Moms always pay attention to details it’s actually funny if you think about it.😊
Lucky you, thats amazing 👏🏿 😍
I’m not attempting to be critical of the royal family as people, I don’t have any reason to think they’re particularly bad people etc, but I think the royal family really and truly appreciate of even understand the reality of how much devotion they have from many people.
