This trailrun was purely magical in places. I admire how you two can keep going all the time, your milage is immense. You so casually run such long distances. Like you are always ready and already trained for anything. Well done.

Great running as i see the trails are now back to their condition of sloppy & wet after such a dry summer. I run & walk in the Silverdale/Arnside area a lot so nice to see it from a slightly different perspective through the camera lens. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you Patrick, lovely to read you comments. The wetter weather certainly makes the trails more challenging and that in itself adds another perspective. It’s such a lovely area and always nice to visit.
That had everything...including tame pheasants 😀 I'll take a look at that route for a summer dry bimble. I'm fed up with the wet weather now slightly 😆.
Great timing for the pheasant! The trails are certainly getting wetter and muddier. Was a nightmare in places yesterday with the slippery muddy surfaces but made for good laughs. Only went over twice!! 😂
Thanks Steve, think this could be the last of the Milnthorpe Meanders 😢 However, Silverdale Circuit is very similar and covers much of the same trails. That’s in February of next year. Have a look at the Ascend Events webpage for more info 👍
Thank you, it’s a lovely route with a. Bit of everything. As there’s road sections we went against using a shoe with a bigger cleats though they would have worked wonders over many parts of the route. We both opted for Hoka Speedgoats and slipped our way around!! 😂
