Thanks for this! I was quoted $275 for a service call to replace the belt. With this video, I did it myself for $25!! 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾

Thank you so much! I have this exact dryer and was able to replace my belt with your video. Getting the belt on the pulleys was challenging for me, but I did it! You saved me from having to buy a new one or pay someone to fix it for me. Thanks again!

Thank you so much for this video. Dryer went out this morning and I "a not so handy man" got it up and running quickly. Thank you.

You didn't show the removal of the retaining block. Also, wouldn't it be easier to remove the back of the dryer, such as you did for the video, to make the installing of the belt around the pullies easier (+ reinstalling spring, etc) instead of going at it blindly?

My man here is a stud! Lots of things get heavy usage in a vacation rental near the beach, especially the dryer. So its nice not to have the option of repair in place of new purchase each time an issue pops up. Thanks Fix.xom

It was an informative video. But I had to watch a different one as well. Why? Because my GE dryer is a mutant I guess. It has 4 screws in the front when you open the door. And my control panel comes off with screws on the back of the panel. Which I located watching a different video. No problem. I just wanted to say that he forgot to hook up the door switch when he put the front panel back on. You might want to do that first before you secure the panel back on. So you don't drive yourself nuts trying to figure out why it's not drying now, but it was before I changed the belt. Hmmm....

You just need to change the drum rollers REALLY easy!

So, did you skip a step to REMOVE the drum retaining block? It's clearly visible at 1:36, but is gone with the crossfade.

Do you know what size belt you used? I have the same dryer which I replaced with an 88" belt. Won't work under heavy load which was original issue. Your video was awesome by the way!

The dryer in our video is 87 inches, one inch smaller than yours and that one inch will make all the difference in the world. Gives us a call with your model number and we will be sure you get the correct belt so you can get that dryer running as it used to.

So I thought this was like my model GE,,, due to snapping top off,, confused now because as I am prying the front panel off it is attached to the drum,,, urggghhh. Will have to keep looking for DBL333 series model, wondering if the back panel needs taken off instead,,, 😁 disregard,, I lifted the drum and front panel came off
