My daughter and I tackled this project with your video as our guide! It worked! The glides or bushings were GONE!!. 😮 The new one is much quieter. I think it was $90 for parts. Got parts from Appliance Part Pros, I couldn’t tell on eBay if I was getting the right one. Thanks!🎉
Great step by step, including putting it back together
your video was great! only one i could find on this dryer. Im trying to change my belt.
Did you find a video specific to the belt? That's where I am now until I took it apart and realized the upper bearing is worn down!
Your video and explanation were good and very thorough.
I'll tell you a way that is a lot easier: Remove 2 screws on front near lint screen. Raise lower bearing on each end, press upper bearing into place. Return lower bearing to place and secure with screws.
Do as @ mrtodd says. 2 screws and a few much easier clips and the bottom panel comes off. Then its a breeze. Top first, followed by the bottom. I had actually realized i bent a little of the metal on the top portion trying to force it in. But easily straightened out with some smooth plier action.
How do you separate that water line attached to the door. You didn’t show and I can’t get mine apart..
Press the end to the middle as you pull the tube out. To put it back in just press it in.
Way to cover the most important step haha. Thanks tho 👍
Also…what is that piece of material sticking down?
