1 John 3:9 9 No one who is born of God will continue to sin, because God’s seed remains in them; they cannot go on sinning, because they have been born of God.
Thank you Father for this talk. Holy Spirit, of Pentecost, take possession of our hearts and cast your fire into our souls. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the Holy Catholic Church, the communion of Saints....GOD bless...from Johannesburg, South Africa.
TLDR - The Blasphemy Against the Holy Ghost, the only sin that God won't forgive, is when someone despairs and refuses to allow themselves to be forgiven by God. The worst sins of humanity are nothing in the face of God's mercy, and we must always persevere in repenting of our sins and trying to rid ourselves of them, no matter how long it takes.
That is your own personal opinion of what the "unforgiveable" sin is. That is not what is taught in the Gospels and letters of the Apostles. Some of what you said in your above comment is very true. Mark 3:22 gives a hint (so to speak) of what blasphemy against the Holy Spirit is. Apocalypse 13 gives more insight of what it's related to as well as Matt 25 (Some will go to the place prepared for the devil and his angels. Fallen Angels cannot and will not be forgiven (another "clue")
@@jofo817 Even mercy is not automatically efficacious. One must be predisposed to receive it. And I think that one makes himself predisposed to receive it only, and only, by DOING PENANCE with a contrite heart. Doing penance with a contrite heart is like a through in which sanctifying grace passes. Without it, pouring mercy to hearts would be like being soaked with a firetruck-load of water without getting wet. And in the last analysis, the redemptive act of Jesus of crucifixion and death on the cross would go to naught. Rejecting the Holy Spirit is truly an unforgivable sin, just like the sin of the fallen angels in rejecting God.
Thank you for your post! I have followed this for years and have had 7 miracles involving the Seal of the Living God. My family members who I gave it to were blessed with it. God bless
"God's love is the cause of our goodness" Absolutely. as we are in a fallen state and the Son of our Creator who sacrificed him self, falling 3 times shedding his blood on his beautiful creation earth for us. For me that is the height of love.
I dreamed last night about the Gospel John 10:36 and it says, As for me, the Father chose me and sent me into the world, How, then, can you say then that I blaspheme because I said that I am the son of God?
I’ve had something on my concience for a long time. See I believe in Jesus alone and I know He is the only way and I’m filthy and there’s no way but by Him. But I’m guilty of the sin in Revelation 22:18-19. Long time ago. When I was younger around 20-21 I was angry with someone and I reworded a bible verse intentionally and deliberately when we were talking and I added and taken words away from scripture and I’m wondering if I can ever be forgiven or if I’m totallly lost forever
Psalm 95 harden not your heart St Michael, the Archangel defend us in battle; be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the devil, may God rebuke him, we humbly pray: and do thou O Prince of the Heavenly Host, by the power of God thrust down to hell Satan and all of the evil spirits that roam through the world seeking the ruin of souls.Amen. Hail Mary full of grace blessed are you among women and best is the fruit of your womb, Jesus. Holy Mary Mother of God pray for us sinners now and at the hour of our death. Amen O my Jesus forgive us our sins, save us from the fires of hell, lead all souls to heaven especially those in most need of they mercy. Amen Eternal God, in whom mercy is endless, and the treasury of compassion inexhaustible, look kindly upon us, and increase Your mercy in us, that in difficult moments, we might not despair, nor become despondent, but with great confidence, submit ourselves to Your holy will which is Love and Mercy Itself. Amen
Great. You hit the nail on the head at 13:10. How does one repent when one calls that which is evil, good. Conversely, as defined by Christ himself, when the scribes and Pharisee's said of him, "he casts out Demons by the power of Beelzebul." To be completely precise, the Sin against the Holy Spirit is the assignation of Evil to the one who is ALL GOOD. Think of anything that has happened in the last 7 weeks the Bishops of this country have done that might just fit that category?
This is the sin of Judas Iscariot. He chose damnation rather than salvation. His guilt led him to take his own life, when he could've been penitent like Peter. It's resistance of God's love (the Holy Spirit is symbolized as God's love). God cannot save you if you don't want to be saved. But He will give you a chance until the last moment of your life. So, don't despair, do not fear. God's power is made perfect in weakness. Approach Him! He is waiting.
Judas was possessed by the devil, so do you think that had anything to do with his "suicide" ? In other words, in the gospels we read that sometimes demon possession manifested in suicidal actions of the possessed. Since the devil was not cast out of Judas (that we know of) The devil may have been the catalyst of Judas suicide. The reason i said all this is that suicide is "murder" and "murder" is not the unforgiveable sin
Good teaching, BAD background noise. Make a choice...either share a good teaching or assist 'the one' who likes to interfere with such teaching. God Bless!
Two translations of the same word; the meaning of “ghost” in the English vernacular has drifted slightly in recent times. Nothing to do with crackpot paranormal investigators.
The church teaches that there is no sin which cannot be forgiven except those not repented off!! Jesus died for all!! Jesus then saved all!! Since dying for all, he did not save them partially!! He saved ever individual who would ever exist with a complete salvation!! He paid for ever sin we would ever commit fully!! Tetelestai!! Paid in full!! And so the blasphemy against the spirit is also included in the atonement of Jesus Christ!! No sin however heinous cannot be forgiven in the sacrament of penance!!!!!!
@@TerrorDaemonum you know He isn't! However, Jesus at the time was warning those who maliciously and wilfully were rejecting Him, and making horrific statements. They refused to believe in Him. The Church's dogma that, for the faithfull, no sin is unforgivable except for the one of final impenitence (unrepented, unconfessed sin at death).

Why do I keep hearing sounds of shoveling? Is there a meaning behind this?
Wow, who's the Priest? He knows what's been going on.
The best explication of this matter I"ve heard.

@footballcoreano wrong dummy. Suicide is murder and murder is not the unforgiveable sin or else the Apostle Paul would have been associated with that.
I had despair my salvation it means I do cannot be saved ?
This is a continual sin over and over again
