Absolutely terrified I did this. I've gone to bed sobbing for months and months now saying "Lord forgive me I'm so sorry, please forgive me, and everyone like me, we didn't know! Lord have Mercy!" Then I do a the divine mercy prayer with my rosary beads and St. Anthony's litany of the Lost almost every single day. Please pray for me and people like me! Amen! 💔😭
The scriptures put in context will explain the meaning of the unforgivable sin. Mark 3:29-30: ( Jesus is speaking directly to the scribes) ; but he that shall blaspheme against the Holy Ghost hath never forgiveness, but is in danger of eternal damnation: vs30 because they said, He hath an unclean spirit. ( The context is vs30 notice it says “ they said” ( the scribes) “ he has” (Jesus) an unclean spirit. Another word’s Jesus is speaking about the scribes what they said about him, that he had a demon. It would be impossible to blaspheme the Holy Ghost in this Church age today, unless Jesus was standing in front of you to make that accusation directly to him. I hoped this helped. Get saved today. The Gospel 1Cor. 15:1-4 Ephesians 2:8-9 Roman’s 4:4 Having Faith alone in Jesus Christ, that he died, buried and rose on the third day. And in Romans 3:25 for he is a propitiation through Faith in his blood to wash all your sins away. It is not by our righteousness, but Jesus righteousness that we may have eternal life. By his grace alone, in Faith alone, in Jesus alone. Blessings!
remember 1John 1v 9 if we confess our sins he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness . so just praise God for forgiving you and move on . Dont let the devil make you eternally guilty. God is not a liar he does what he says. he has forgiven you
Sounds like attention seeking, hanging on to sin after asking for forgiveness is akin to not asking forgiveness at all. Pray once, go to confession and then let it go..
If you speak slander against holy spirit not Goood ask that please don't blasphemy against holy spirit don't let emery take any action rebuke demons before to late you welcome
Thank you for helping me to understand. I love GOD and his Creation. I’m so sorry that I lost many years without understanding. I’m 69 now and I’m GOD child for ever.
I did a sin I thought I was ever be forgiven I was cry and scared and worried I did the sin but now I know Its not the unforgiven sin I was still scared.
I'm learning slowly, that a fall into sin and the demons that accompany such darkness are the instruments of our sanctification for those who can let go of their pride and beg for forgiveness.
I would take this teaching just a half step further. God doesn’t just sit around waiting for us to ASK for forgiveness. He OFFERS us the forgiveness won for us by the suffering and death of Christ. But He has given us free will, and therefore will not force us to accept the forgiveness He offers to us. Sorrowfully, those who refuse the forgiveness of God are necessarily, by their own choice, lost.
When asking for God's forgiveness, can someone be forgiven by God if they repent in the privacy of their home or does forgiveness only happen when one confesses their sin before a priest?
@@umzambia132 it has nothing to do with a priest. If you ask at home then you are forgiven. And when you pray do it through Jesus not Mary. She didn’t die on the cross for you.
@@umzambia132 Yes God forgives you the moment you ask I’ve heard it said that God forgives your sins even when you’re on your way to confession confession is a very wonderful sacrament that should not be neglected but of course when we do wrong we immediately asked for God‘s mercy and forgiveness but I still would recommend going to confession often it’s like going to the doctor and getting medicine that helps in the recovery
@@tsujin_tsunami I agree with half of your statement about not going through the priest. Mary is a conduit to forgiveness b/c, if we ask, she brings us to her son.
@@damienwanepluto871 we don’t need Mary to go to Jesus. We just call on Him and He will hear us and answer us and we have the Holy Spirt too. Mary is human like us but she was very faithful to God and loved Him. We should try to be like that too.
Thank you Father Brad yeah that's been on my mind for a long time and I don't even know if I said it I think I probably have I've done a lot of things and I've done a lot of things I was an alcoholic and I was homeless and I had to do what I had to do to survive I go to St Paul's Catholic church and Pocahontas Arkansas just trying to rebuild my life I'm disabled now and I'm not to become homeless again that's all I do everyday is pray pray and a bunch of different prayers everyday all day thank you for helping me you don't know how much this means to me God bless have a great night
The only unforgivable sin is blasphemy against that Holy Spirit...i.e. taking the credit away from The Holy Spirit and giving it to someone or something else. If you're panicked and worried that you have blasphemed The Holy Spirit, relax....you haven't! People who blaspheme The Holy Spirit do it intentionally...don't care that they have.
Denying Christ as your Savior is the only unforgivable sin. Without Him you will end up in hell. Repent in the NT means to change your mind, going from unbelief to believing in who Christ is.
Thank you Lord Jesus. ❤❤❤ Please strengthen my(our) faith. I love you all Christians who comment here and every Christians out there. Please, let us pray for each other. I am being tortured by this because I thought I cannot be forgiven. I thank God he does not permit me to give up. Glory be to the Father, to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit..As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen❤
What a beautiful thing to listen to and exactly just what I NEEDED to hear. This is so beautiful. I have been looking for my CCC book. Pls help me pray to find it. Thank you!!!
What a beautiful thing God has given to us his Mercy and Forgiveness. Even if one decided that, changed his mind and repented would be forgiven. As it’s confessed.
I honestly thought that I didnt derserve Gods forgiviness now i know if i repent and confess my sins that i will be forgiven and that i will be truely thankful for
The thing that also supports this a bit is a passage from the gospel of john. One of the pharisees (the people that jesus was addressing this sin to because they were badmouthing jesus' spirit) actually came to him at night and asked how to be saved, and jesus did not deny him. He even told him about the holy spirit and how to be baptized in the spirit. Literally the first thing jesus tells him to do is basically repent. (I'm not sure if this takes place AFTER the warning jesus gave or before but if it was after, this is more proof)
I was talking to myself and I think I accidentally said that the Holy Ghost is from the devil. And I got scared, and then I was saying out loud that the Holy Ghost is not from the devil and I think I said accidentally that is from the devil, but I don’t think I did it, but in my mind I’m like: what if I said it? I’m really scared, I love God and Jesus 😭
Carla and just today I was questioning my faith and I was wondering the Orthodox Jews said that a false prophet would come out and say that he is the son of God and do what do magic things of the devil to convince people and in revelations it says that the antichrist will do magic in front of everybody and that would claim to be god so I was wondering didn’t Jesus do these things that the Jews predicted I thought that I had said Jesus was of the devil and I was terrified up to that point I was having actually thoughts of being a atheist but I realized my wrongs and asked for forgiveness I didn’t say Jesus was of the devil but I was wondering why others did think that he was. I don’t know everything but I would say pray to god talk to fellow believers I think the fact that you know you did something wrong shows that you are sorry talk to god he loves you and will not forsake you
I did something very similar when I read that passage I said something out loud about the Holy Spirit that sent terrible fear and has plagued me for years… It did make me more serious about my faith and my priest told me that people who commit this type of sin couldn’t care less they have no interest at all and no fear at all about sins, and that if it was that easily stumbled into the devil would’ve had many many many people accidentally stumbled into the sin … even if you read the requirements of a mortal sin it requires full knowledge and for consent… a clear decision and even with those requirements forgiveness is still available in the end mercy is greater than judgment and mercy will have the last word and anyone who desires to be forgiven can only have that desire by the prompting of the Holy Spirit… my pre-said one sure sign that a person has not committed the impartinable sin is the very fact that they are frightened by such a sin …
I have mental illness and voices in my head have been trying make me think I blasphemed the holy spirit by a momentary thought but this video helped me th-cam.com/video/W30Jmx-JMVw/w-d-xo.html he said the unpardonable sin is permanent rejection of the truth the holy spirit witnesses to because they love that which is evil. Not just saying something flippently like "I blaspheme the holy spirit" or "I hate the holy spirit" it's called and eternal sin, not a momentary one. Today they were trying to tell me the intrusive thoughts ment I blasphemed the and for a second I tried to silence them by thinking "if I were to intentionally try to blaspheme the holy spirit it'd look like this" and for a split second I was about to intentionally think the thought "I blaspheme the holy spirit" and mean it but I stopped myself before the thought was complete. I was still scared because I wondered if the intention to do it for a split second itself counted as doing it. Though I suppose even if it did attempting or intending to do something is not necessarily the same as actually doing it.
@@justamanthatlikestogofishi6228 The Jews actually have a figure in the Torah called Yeshu the sorcerer (Hebrew name for Jesus). They say he's in hell being boiled in poop forever.
I honestly have a moment when I fear I might have committed it, Ihave had deep moments of joy when I thought I had a mystical experience of God. But later in a moment of deep pessimism I think I believed it was a deception of the devil. I fear this may have planted a mustard seed of anti faith in my soul that will never permit me to fully trust God again. But I've had moments when the feeling comes back and I feel that joy again, and this gives me hope, I wouldn't be feeling the holy spirit again if the holy spirit and I were no longer on speaking terms would I? But part of me fears it may be like a ball bouncing up a little shorter each time until it comes to rest on the ground. But I must hope on, there may come a day when my faith fails me, but that day is not today.
Great video! I'm very happy to have found this channel (which I'm surprised isn't more popular) because I love both coffee and the Catholic faith. 😎 ☕ ✝️ There are two points that I would like to add that I think may also be beneficial. One is that God will judge each of us justly. That is to say, God is unlike a human judge in that He will not judge superficially or based on misunderstanding or error, but will reward us each according to what we deserve. Romans 2:6 God "will repay each person according to what they have done." (cf. Job 34:11, Psalm 62:12, Proverbs 24:12, Jeremiah 17:10, Matthew 16:27, Revelation 22:12) However, we also know that God is merciful and desires to forgive us if we ask for forgiveness and forgive others. James 2:12 Speak and act as those who are going to be judged by the law that gives freedom, because judgment without mercy will be shown to anyone who has not been merciful. Mercy triumphs over judgment. (cf. Ezekiel 33:11, Matthew 5:7, Matthew 6:14, Matthew 7:2, Luke 15:11-32, 2 Peter 3:9, 2 Peter 3:15, 1 Timothy 2:4, Revelation 2:21) If we combine these two facts, I think that we may be assured that in the worst of all possible cases, God will give us exactly what we deserve, but if He does not, it will only be because He has decided to judge in our favor because of His divine mercy. Therefore, as Paul says: Galatians 6:9 Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.
@@stevecoyle1 No one can confess all of their sins, it is impossible, you would have to back to your birth. 😁 You are correct about the verses you posted. It truly shocks me how Catholics are so fearful of losing their salvation by not confessing all of their sins. When you believe the Gospel all of our sins are forgiven, He remembers them no more. As far as telling your sins to a priest, they have no power to forgive sins, only Christ can. God bless you, Maranatha.
Short Answer: None of us can imagine how much God loves us and the true reality of his infinite mercy but the Blasphemy of the Holy Spirit is the ignorance toward God and his Love and Mercy basically saying, "What I'm doing is wrong, I am not sorry for what I am doing and I do not need nor want God's Mercy for what I have done.
The desire to be forgiven and being sorry is all anyone can be and do with people or God.. i’m sorry, I forgive you, and I love you everyone has to believe that this mercy and forgiveness is for them personally not for everybody else but yourself
Matthew 7:21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall. enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth. the will of my Father which is in heaven. John 6:39-40 King James Version 39 And this is the Father's will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day. 40 And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day.
You can't just isolate Matthew 7 21 and then jump to John 39 Easy believers and hypergracers do this all the time, the isolate the part about "did we not do miracles in your name?" And say "see they're Lordship salvationists trying to get into heaven by their good works" but it's so ironic because if you continue to read Matthew 7 it says "therefore the one who hears my sayings and does them is the wise man who builds his house on the rock and the one who does them not is a foolish man who builds his house on the sand" The point is even if you perform miracles in the name of Jesus but don't do the things Jesus told you to do you're wasting your time.
but i remembered at thine when I was like 12-13 I was in a middle of committing a sin and had a thought that said "I would trade the holy spirit spirit for this" or something like that, and still committed the sin, I was struggling with blashphamous thoughts and with certain sins back then, and I knew what the holy spirit was, but I'm so scared, plus when I was in a middle of doing a sin I had a thought that said "with this I renounce the spirit" and a follow up thought came up "with this I don't renounce him" and I still committed the sin
When we ask for forgiveness, I understand you to mean that in that asking you have to believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and He is perfect and only through Him we can be forgiven and experience eternal life. Not just saying I’m sorry.
Thank you.. this other minister says that the unforgivable sin is when you're delivered up to anti christ in the end days and you must let the holy spirit speak through you and not to think of what you will say.
@Joseph Fossa The anti Christ will rise and will force everyone to take his mark, DONT TAKE IT. It's an unforgivable sin and you will go to hell there is no coming back from that.Jesus died on the cross for your sins and this is the way to act ? He loves you so much that hes waiting for you to turn to him. He wants a relationship with you. And Jesus loves you and he wants a Relationship with you, and he died on the Cross for you because he loves you so much. For God so love the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. Have a true relationship with Jesus and be truly in for Christ. The Bible says if you Confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, and you believe in your Heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be Saved, do that while your Praying, for by Grace we are Saved through Faith and not ourselves, for this is a gift from God. And accept him as your Lord and Savior while you are Praying to. And Repent these sins like lying, homosexuality, adultery, lust, taking God's name in vain (oh my this and I swear to this), cheating on somebody with another person, Doing evil, murdering, killing, worshiping and believing in false gods and idols, etc. And if you get left behind after Jesus comes back, you will have to go through the Great Tribulation, and it's going to be terrifying after Jesus comes back, the anti christ will be revealed and the mark of the beast will be introduced all over the world, the mark of the beast number is 666 DONT TAKE IT, it's an unforgivable sin and you will go to hell if you take it, God wont forgive you after you take it, you will have to die for Jesus during the Tribulation, God bless you. And Hell is NOT a party. It is full of torment, and suffering, and lake of fire burning, and a lot of demons down there for eternity, there's terrifying demons down there that you can never imagine. Please repent before it's to late, God bless. And repent these sins like lying, homosexuality (being gay and lesbion). Worshiping and believing in false gods, idolizing celebrities, idolizing your phone, putting things first before God, Judging others by their looks or what they do, sexual sin and sexual immorality, lust, pride, selfishness (only caring about yourself amd not other people), blaspheming against God and Jesus, laziness, greed, murdering, stealing something that's not yours and not giving it back, hating on somebody, wrath, sloth, cheating on somebody with another person during marriage, idolizing celebrities adultery, having sex before marriage, unholiness, selling your soul to the devil, etc. God bless
To get saved or to know that you are going to heaven is to believe the gospel (1st Corinthians 15 verse 1-4)that Christ died for all your sins past present and future was buried and rose again on the 3rd day according to scriptures for your justification! the NANOSECOND you trust Jesus as your savior and believe in his finish redemptive work on the cross ALONE(And none of your own works!!) You will be SAVED FOREVER and you can never lose your salvation Today is the day of salvation Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shalt be saved (you will be saved!!) (Acts 16:31)
1 John 3 15 Whosoever hateth his brother is a murderer: and ye know that no murderer hath eternal life abiding in him. So is the gospel believe in Jesus for a nanosecond+not hate your bother? Hypergrace is the logical conclusion of faith alone and once saved always saved but is not biblical.

All of our sins are forgiven the moment we believe in the Gospel, the GOOD NEWS, It isnt good news if we are constantly in fear of losing our salvation. 2Timothy 1:7 For God has not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.
@@christophersnedeker2065john is talking about a life of sin vs a life of general goodness, the Greek makes this clear. Our old sin nature wants to hate but we ask God for strength to forgive
I ask for forgiveness, I'm just so scared to even go before a priest and confess, mostly because I've done so much wrong in my life and I feel that even walking into a church or a speaking to a priest is something that I cannot do on my own... I am sorry for all my sins that I can recall and those that I can't recall. I want to do better, however after the crazy life I have tried to live, I feel so far and astray that I am the sheep that doesn't belong with the flock... Like Peter, I'm just a stupid man...
@Niko Pawlowic There is not a shred of verifiable evidence, There is not a shred of reliable evidence that ANY god, of ANY religion exists. So, please come out if your irrational fears. That being said, try to be ethical and sincere to the best of your abilities towards other living beings. THAT is what matters.
Thank god he forgives me because I was watching this tv show and I felt the Holy Spirit conviction and I didn’t listen to it bc I thought the show was harmless and I regret it now and I ended up searching for things Christians watch and I couldn’t watch shows that have nudity and other things that draw us away from god and now I kno. But do you guys have any shoes for me to watch that is really good for Christians
Hebrews 10 TIES INTO jesus' statement. To understand WHY blasphemy of the holy spirit is unforgivable, we must first understand hebrews 10: the scripture says that continuing in unbelief is terrible. They say apostasy is condemnable after learning of the truth, as in they say "once baptized and assured christhood, how does one return to ignorance. They are refusing the father, son AND holy spirit. They refrence a certain blasphemy ("insult the spirit of grace"), and they use it in a context of wrongful rejection. The pharisees rejected the truth after being shown. THAT'S WHY HE SAID "all blasphemies and sins will be forgiven but the blasphemy of the holy spirit won't be. AN ABUSE OF THE TRUTH "spirit is truth" WILL NOT BE TOLERATED BY THE TRINITY.

If I get mad and question God because I don't hear, comprehend, or question something that makes absolutely no sense. Have a broken the rule? I get so frustrated at times as Christians expect me to understand or hear something. And I don't. I basically tell God to either speak or get lost because I can't hear anything...Autism also affects me in ways that make it hard to proncess information that is technically very abstract to practice it. I start to crack under pressure and despair alot.
What lots of prophets and saints were frustrated and argued with God… it’s like any relationship and you don’t understand and you’re seeking understanding or you don’t like the results of certain things very human God is very aware
Good luck with that belief. Are you sure you have confessed all of your sins, and that you will be able to clear the slate before you die? If so, Jesus died in vain. The unpardonable sin is unbelief.
Impossible to have all your sins confess when you die. When you accept Jesus death on the cross to pay for your sins and he forgives past present and future. King James Version Romans 8:38 and 39
Hi I am Christian and had baptized in 2019. But, I did committed my sin like idolatry ( I went to Buddhist Temple and see around but I DID write wishing and hang at the tree) Sorry idk how to describe the words. So, is it my sin can forgiven since I already confessed and pray to God for forgiveness and I believe Jesus is only Saviour. And I did watching pornography, sexual addiction many times. I struggled with these things and tried to repentance. So please pray me my friend. It's has been 2 weeks since I didn't watch and I already pray to God for forgiveness that I did watch. Hope yout answer is helpful. Thanks
Yes God will forgive all of this if you ask him and ask him to give you strength to fight temptation. Check out Hal Lindsey 's long but amazing videos on the book of Romans
What can I do if I always have intrusive thoughts that make me believe I’m committing terrible sins and reading about things from the Catholic faith scares me more and I worry more.
The religious leaders saw Jesus was doing miracles but instead of admitting he was from God, they told everyone that he was from Satan. So they called the power "doing" the miracles evil, that is blasphemy against God's Spirit
I felt like I committed this sin. I was in a state where I was pretty much upset that why were we made if god knew we'd fail and I was asking him this I'm not gonna lie. I felt like because I asked him this and questioned him that I committed this sin. I remember shadowboxing(yes as in fighting) that I was fighting both Jesus and Satan. I thought about and truly imagined I kicked Jesus away and punch Satan in the face and from there on I was just idek. Later throughout those days I asked God to forgive me and that I was sorry. I didn't ask God to forgive that same day and I don't know if because I waited a couple of days for forgiveness that, did I create this sin?

I entered into your house, and you gave me no water for my feet, but she has wet my feet with her tears, and wiped them with the hair. . . . Therefore I tell you, her sins, which are many, are forgiven, for she loved much. But to whom little is forgiven, the same loves little.” . . . He said to the woman, “Your faith has saved you. I fast twice a week and give a tenth of all I get.’ “But the tax collector stood at a distance. He would not even look up to heaven, but beat his breast and said, ‘God, have mercy on me, a sinner.’ “I tell you that this man, rather than the other, went home justified before God. Lol … The point here is if you are afraid that you have committed any sort of sin and desire to be forgiven then that alone is proof God is working in your life…
I'm scared I committed it long story short I am having issues with repentance (specially feeling bad about sinning against God) and turned to the bible. I read Genesis and instantly judge God and his smiting, call on killing sinners, only being able to forgive if you are born a christian, repent, and just hate people to not care about the eternally suffering. I said that the Holy spirit, Jesus and God and their works are worse than the devil's ever done. And I said that anyone can be a better God. I can't even repent that. All I feel is emptyness. Please tell me I can be forgiven

Ezekiel 33:11 "Tell them, As I live, says the Lord, I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked; but that the wicked turn from his way and live: turn, turn from your evil ways; for why will you die, house of Israel?" Isaiah 45:22 "Look to me, and be saved, all the ends of the earth; for I am God, and there is no other." Acts 3:19 "Repent therefore, and turn again, that your sins may be blotted out, so that there may come times of refreshing from the presence of the Lord," Matthew 9:11-13 "When the Pharisees saw it, they said to his disciples, “Why does your teacher eat with tax collectors and sinners?” When Jesus heard it, he said to them, “Those who are healthy have no need for a physician, but those who are sick do. But you go and learn what this means: ‘I desire mercy, and not sacrifice,’ for I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.” " Luke 7:37-50 "Behold, a woman in the city who was a sinner, when she knew that he was reclining in the Pharisee’s house, she brought an alabaster jar of ointment. Standing behind at his feet weeping, she began to wet his feet with her tears . . . Jesus answered him . . . “A certain lender had two debtors. The one owed five hundred denarii, and the other fifty. When they couldn’t pay, he forgave them both. Which of them therefore will love him most?” Simon answered, “He, I suppose, to whom he forgave the most.” He said to him, “You have judged correctly.” Turning to the woman, he said to Simon, “Do you see this woman? I entered into your house, and you gave me no water for my feet, but she has wet my feet with her tears, and wiped them with the hair. . . . Therefore I tell you, her sins, which are many, are forgiven, for she loved much. But to whom little is forgiven, the same loves little.” . . . He said to the woman, “Your faith has saved you. Go in peace.” " Luke 18:10-14 “Two men went up to the temple to pray, one a Pharisee and the other a tax collector. The Pharisee stood by himself and prayed: ‘God, I thank you that I am not like other people-robbers, evildoers, adulterers-or even like this tax collector. I fast twice a week and give a tenth of all I get.’ “But the tax collector stood at a distance. He would not even look up to heaven, but beat his breast and said, ‘God, have mercy on me, a sinner.’ “I tell you that this man, rather than the other, went home justified before God. For all those who exalt themselves will be humbled, and those who humble themselves will be exalted.”
Blaspheming the Spirit is thus a failure to repent and ally oneself with Jesus. Since this can always be done during one's life (cf. 20:1-15), blasphemy against the Holy Spirit must be a final refusal to repent, or final impenitence. I saw this on Catholic site And It is Also in Catholic Teaching Should be Final Impenitence That is Refusing God’s mercy Even to Your last breath, I recommend you ask Good Catholic Priest in Confession, he can help you
Someone please help me I’ve told God what to do with himself when I was suffering from breathing issues I was so angry I’m so worried that I can’t take it back I’ve confessed to a priest but Matthew says to curse God is unforgivable please help me
I believe it is taught that it is never too late to ask for forgiveness. You can't take it back but you can ask for forgiveness. The problem comes when you do not want forgiveness.
Scripture Clearly states that all words spoken against God and man will be forgiven.. Also when you were in distress, anger, fear, drugs drunk etc. this is all taken into consideration when somebody ask in a sinful manner absolutely like any human being you may have been angry with or said things that you shouldn’t have you say you’re sorry and they forgive you how much more is God capable and willing?
I dont know if watching attack on titan is a sin cause it isnt real violence its a anime they are not real people so i told god i dont know if its a sin or not and i told him im going to watch the final season of it so now i feel i must watch it cause i told him i will but i told him i most likely will stop watching it after i finish the last season just to be safe and make sure i dont sin is it okay that i watch the last season someone answer me please
You can ask forgiveness for all sins. Was the oath itself "good" or "bad"? I would assume "good" so if you can't meet the oath try to do the oath at some lower level. Start small and work your way up.
There is NO SUCH THING as an "Unforgivable Sin" in this lifetime. No such Biblical doctrine... THE SO-CALLED "UNPARDONABLE SIN"...ONE OF SATAN'S GREATEST LIES! 1. Nowhere in the Bible is the term "unpardonable sin" mentioned or used; an "unpardonable sin" towards a person while alive on earth IS NOT a biblical doctrine, and its use is teaching FALSE DOCTRINE. 2. Concerning... “Therefore I say to you, any sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven people, but blasphemy against the Spirit shall not be forgiven. Whoever speaks a word against the Son of Man, it shall be forgiven him; but whoever speaks against the Holy Spirit, it shall not be forgiven him, either in this age or in the age to come." - Matthew 12:31-32 Assumption; the root of many false doctrines; Jesus DID NOT SAY the sin against the Holy Spirit was UNFORGIVABLE, He said; "it shall not be forgiven him" ...either in this age or in the age to come." Why would it not be forgivable? Are not all sins forgivable? The answer is simple; a person who has spoken against the Holy Spirit (i.e.; REJECTED THE HOLY SPIRIT), and if therefore has a permanently hardened heart, WILL NOT ASK FOR FORGIVENESS because of the hardness of their heart. The sin of speaking against the Holy Spirit would remain UNFORGIVEN, BUT NOT UNFORGIVABLE FOR ANYONE ASKING FOR FORGIVENESS. God cuts them off and turns them over to a hardened heart, but that DOES NOT MEAN that the sin against the Holy Spirit was "UNFORGIVABLE." If I bought you a are car and handed you the keys and I said "it's yours, drive it anywhere you want." If you refused to drive it, IT IS NOT UNDRIVEABLE because you didn't drive it, but it would remain UNDRIVEN by you because you refused to drive it. A BIG DIFFERENCE! NO SIN, INCLUDING SPEAKING AGAINST THE HOLY SPIRIT, IS ACTUALLY UNFORGIVABLE... "Moreover the law entered, that the offense might abound. But where sin abounded, grace did much more abound," - Romans 5:20 "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from ALL unrighteousness." - 1 John 1:9 A person has a hardened heart when, or after, they reject the Holy Spirit over and over again (possibly even after one time...only God knows). When their heart has rejected God (rejected the Holy Spirit) too many times, they risk a heart that can no longer say YES to the Holy Spirit, thus, in effect, in their heart, they speak against the Holy Spirit and CANNOT ask for forgiveness. Does God cut certain people off? YES!... "And the LORD said, My spirit SHALL NOT always strive with man, for that he also is flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years." - Genesis 6:3 Jeremiah 7:15-16 - "And I will cast you out of my sight, as I have cast out all your brethren, even the whole seed of Ephraim. Therefore pray not thou for this people, neither lift up cry nor prayer for them, neither make intercession to me: for I will not hear thee. Do you not see what they do in the cities of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem? The children gather wood, and the fathers kindle the fire, and the women knead their dough, to make cakes to the queen of heaven, and to pour out drink offerings unto other gods, that they may provoke me to anger." Hosea 4:17 - "Ephraim is joined to idols, Let him alone. Their drink is rebellion, They commit harlotry continually. Her rulers dearly love dishonor." "And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;" - Romans 1:28 NOTE: "God gave them over to a reprobate mind" ...GOD CUT THEM OFF, GOD GAVE THEM OVER to a reprobate mind. IN John 12:39 NOTICE THE WORDS "COULD NOT," not "would not," BUT "COULD NOT."... They had hardened hearts making it IMPOSSIBLE to believe on Jesus Christ. They had, in their hearts, spoken against the Holy Spirit making it for them IMPOSSIBLE to ask for forgiveness in this world nor in the world to come. John 12:39... "Therefore they COULD NOT believe, because that Esaias said again, He hath blinded their eyes, and hardened their heart; that they should not see with their eyes, nor understand with their heart, and be converted, and I should heal them." Just as it was prophesied that it would happen... "He hath blinded their eyes, and hardened their heart; that they should not see with their eyes, nor understand with their heart, and be converted, and I should heal them. These things said Esaias, when he saw his glory, and spake of him." - John 12:40-41 Speaking against the Holy Spirit is REJECTING the Holy Spirit to the point where God will cut a person off and NO LONGER STRIVE WITH THAT PERSON. It is VERY IMPORTANT to understand that if you have even the SLIGHTEST desire or inkling toward God YOU HAVE NOT COMMITTED THE SO CALLED "unpardonable sin" because it's not an unpardonable sin, NO SIN IS UNPARDONABLE IN THIS LIFETIME!
Grieving the Holy Spirit. Grieving the Holy Spirit comes by certain acts, which amounts to enslaving the spirits. For Sodom by their acts , their spirits cried out to God & God utterly destroyed the flesh Even as the men of Sodom (souls) chained for Judgement just as the angels who left first estate, another act that grieved the Spirit. Now loosed a little & they take many with them. For warned Jesus " Remember Lots wife, not just to Sodom but COMPLACENCY towards, for a complacent one is already a Sodomite reserved for Condemnation/Judgement . Even as over 70 % of the population of America which Biblically, Prophetically and Spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, are in.
If you are alive you haven't committed it. It's only unpardonable if you don't ask for forgiveness for your sins before death. If you confess your sins, tell God your sorry and try to repent, then have Faith that you have been forgiven! :)
@@justanormalartist801 God will save you buddy please do not fear God will forgive you to any sin we commit because Jesus loves you and everyone on this Earth but you know the same situation happened to me when I got angry for the struggles and I question God why this happens but I asked for forgiveness and Jesus forgave me and if he forgave me and the others then I know he will forgive you.
I’ve been stupid and angry in every relationship I’ve ever been since I was born thank God we have the ability to say and feel sorry and honestly receive that unconditional love and forgiveness is humbling hardest thing to do is to forgive yourself
Should be talked about more especially in today's world of Catholicism in religion. Jesus said Matthew 12:32 yone who speaks a word against the Son of Man will be forgiven, but anyone who speaks against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven, either in this age or in the age to come. My question? If a person has passed with such probable sin, would it help to pray for the person via intelligence or other such means???
To CatholicLifeTV Admin, I have a question for clarification only, since you have a link with the Magisterium, my question is, "since God desires all be save, in the Bible's parable the Good Shepherd leaves the 99, looking for the lost one sheep. Meaning God is love and His love is eternal forgiveness beyond space and time bcos our soul is eternal not subject to time. My question is very sensitive and it needs broad answer and my question is IF THE SOUL WAS IN HELL AND HE REPENTS, HE REGRETS WHAT HE HAD DONE AND GOD'S FORGIVENESS... NOW WILL GOD OR THE HOLY SPIRIT WILL FORGIVE HIM?" Kindly explain and expound your answer and take time and make it complete not subjective relative answer. Thanks a lot.
Thanks for the question. You are right that God does desire all to be saved. So, a soul that is in hell is not there because God desires it to be there, but because the soul chose to turn away from God. When our life ends we are no longer in time, therefore we no longer have “time” to repent.”
@@CatholicLifeTV, I did not understand your answer bcos it was not properly explained and not clear when you said "the soul is hell is not there", maybe you mean the soul that is in hell, right? Secondly, you said the soul, in his/her end has no time to repent, I beg to disagree bcos I had experienced my relatives, my parents in their last hour they pray and ask for forgiveness to God before they depart their temporary body. Thirdly, you mentioned that the fallen soul chose hell, meaning full knowledge, right? But how can be in knowledge when the fallen soul was blinded, deluded by illusion and by the darkness of ignorance? That is why when one committed a mortal sin, the soul destiny is in hell, he is blinded, deceived cheated by Satan, deluded by illusion. And repentance and regrets always comes in the last not when we committed a sin, realization always comes in the end, right? In the parable in the Bible, Luke 16:28 that the rich man repents and tell Abraham to warn his 5 brothers so that they will not come to that place of torments. Again, he repents. Question: if God desires everyone to be saved, how can we reconcile that there is no mercy for those who repent after the death of their temporary body even when they are in hell? My I ask any Priest to give their comments bcos it seems that your version is not from the Church Magisterium version, you did not give any reference from Magisterium but only your own opinion and interpretation like what the Protestants are doing they keep on speculating concocting interpreting without proper guidance from Church Magisterium Authority. Thanks
@@melitonrioferio5444 As I am only a moderator for our channel, I would recommend you finding a priest or spiritual advisor in your local parish. God bless you.
Maria Gonzalez Jesus knows that its not you purposely saying that . He knows thats the devil trying to lead you away from God . I hope that answered your question
Nothing is outside of God. Our bodies, our breath, our thoughts and our souls all exist within God. There is nothing in Creation that is unknown, or even surprising, to God. He does not “control” us, because He has given us free choice, but He knows all, He hears all, and He Loves all.
Ok I get every sin is forgivable and I’ve been to confession many times and feel great for maybe the rest of the day but then I start second guessing things and then it snowballs and I question if I don’t have enough trust in God. Then it snowballs again and I think is this the unforgivable sin because I have such weak trust at times? HELP!!
I think what you are going through is normal for lots of people. You are trying to grow in your faith. It's natural to have doubts in yourself and that's when we pray for the grace to persevere. Keep going in the direction of God. You don't have to be perfect as Jesus perfects you in the end.
Only one. John 3:18. Believers are no longer condemned, but unbelievers are condemned already because they have not believed on the name of the Son of God. Romans 1:16. For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, (First Corinthians 15:1-4) for it is the POWER of God unto salvation to everyone that BELIEVETH to the Jew first and also to the Greek. Acts 16:31. John 6:47. Verily, verily, I say unto you, he that BELIEVETH on me HATH EVERLASTING LIFE. Romans 3:26-28 There will be no boasting in heaven. Ephesians 2:8-9 For by grace are ye saved, through Faith, and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God, NOT OF WORKS, LEST ANY MAN SHOULD BOAST.
Isn’t despair and prejudgment the two unforgivable sins because in despair we don’t ask for forgiveness and in prejudgment they don’t think they need to pray for forgiveness cause they know there going to heaven god forgives everything but with despair they believe their out of gods light or so doesn’t pray for forgiveness two sides of the same coin
This teaching is flawed. 1 John 5:13 says These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God. If you die in the commission of sin before you have a chance to ask for forgiveness, how is this verse true? The only condition for salvation is belief.
Does jesus have to be on earth to blasphemy àgainst holy spirit? I know blasphemy agaunst god/jesus can be done ib rhis world. U can be forgivwn. If done when hes on earth. Regect holy spirit isnt forgiven. Ami correct
Catholic life Tv , So basically you are saying that the context of the scripture is very important since the opposition to Jesus is so strong that it prompts his opponents to to call him a devil? The unforgivable sin is not calling him a devil but the stiff opposition to repent from sin?
Yes. The accusations of evil was just the final nail on the coffin for them, i believe. However i think there is a point of no return. But i think if god knows you want to do better, he won't take the spirit from you. It's for those who are unrepentant. It's unforgivable but it's not a decision on the fly. It's not a careless complaint but a calculated rejection
It was both- the leaders stubbornly refused to believe in him and then, to keep others from having faith, they accused him of being in league with satan
You can't be forgiven if you don't repent. Remember the scripture cannot be broken and it cannot contradict itself. 1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from ALL unrighteousness. Luke 13:3 I tell you, no; but unless you repent you will all likewise perish. Blasphemy of the Holy Spirit is the hardening of the heart and rejecting the Holy Spirit, and going as far as SPEAKING with full belief and intention against the Holy Spirit to other people.

Yes thats blasphemy including Saying om* and etc. It can be forgiven on mass if its venial but if you did it with full will u have to go to confession because its mortal
Not necessarily, the holy spirit is a witness and the blaspheme against the holy spirit is the permanent decision to deliberately reject the truth it witnesses to. It's called an eternal sin, not a momentary one.
The Unforgiveable Sin is that grave sin one fails to confess... that is the sin one knows but refuses to confess. God cannot forgive that which one will not confess. To deliberately withhold that grave sin is a SIN. That is a crime and will be held against you both in this world and in the next. All sins are against God and His Holy Spirit.
No no no no please no I haven't gone to confession in weeks because I'm scared because I keep going for the same thing I was going to go to the next one am I going to hell
I believe its not correct. All those who blaspheme jesus can still be forgiven but not so for the sin against holy spirit. Pls seek the Holy Spirit n he will enlighten
What about Judas who sold out Christ for silver? I sold Him out decades ago as an Evangelical for sexual sin, and it still haunts me that I'm already damned, that either God can't forgive me, or He won't grant me true repentance...:(
husq48 Judas ended up killing himself becuase he was disgusted with himself and thought that he was beyond forgiveness which is blasphemy against the Holy Spirit
@@Zayfth hey here is some reading that explains further . Judas would have been forgiven if he went and asked Jesus for forgiveness because the mercy is eternal. But Judas despaired and said his sin is greater than Gods mercy and it is this that has been according to saints said to be the sin that Jesus talked about that would never be forgiven.
Is the Blasphemy against the Holy Spirit saying that your classmate is cheating in an exam but you do not have a proof of it? Please answer I am scared.
6:17 Your example I think the writer shows a comparison and highlights to mark Jesus as Christ; however, trinity doctrine holds the personas as different, and one as Not the other so blaspheming Jesus at the cross is no good for the Unforgiveable sin mention not only that Jesus is not the Holy Spirit/ Holy Ghost [and not that the Trinity doctrine is sound], but that Jesus explicitly covers that even mocking the person of Jesus is not unforgiveable--Matthew 12: 32...you have to keep the distinctions and not phone it in. They are not interchangeable, although if they are all equal in the same substance-'though what substance and where is God in the substance because God is spirit and the three are intimated to be God but it doesn't seem to say so.-this aside Let's switch them out and see how wrong you are to say Jesus is not the holy spirit but Jesus, the HS, and God the father are one [but they are not because they are often distinct in separateness --Jesus' water baptism they were together in the scene yet they were Not one. Revelation the lamb as if slain took the book with seven seals sealed from the one on the throne...God is with Jesus yet God is Not Jesus. And to continue as you would have it--interchangeable; then, God, the Father is crucified and dies on the cross, now you've killed God the one God who cannot die. Although you just killed Christianity's validity-Ernie Moore Jr. Consider three councilpersons, each with the same powers and authority, yet the whistle blows and they go to different homes with different families and live differently and have different lives--they are one in Authority but they have distinct functions although one in Purpose, Power is delegated to better do the Work and all that is to be done-they each have their own delegated responsibilities with the same level of authority.-Ernie Moore Jr. You need a different example of someone committing the referred to so-called unforgivable sin. Jesus might have the Holy Ghost [which was given-up on the cross after a yell that quickened the dead], might might be assisted by, might be with the Holy Ghost yet Jesus is not himself that. Jesus is Not the Holy Spirit nor the Holy Ghost.-Ernie Moore Jr.
Being that when we die (sleep), we will be raised to be judged or in the rapture, Jesus meant that, "I'm telling to today, you will be with me in paradise. It doesn't mean the thief went straight to heaven.
Sorry, I disagree with your explanation that the "Unforgivable sin" is a person who does not want to REPENT... The Bible said, that God will be more merciful to Sodom and Gomorrah (they ALL not repent) than this generation." The generation where the Gospel is Preached yet they still harden their hearts not to believe...
This is false teaching. If you sin against Holy Spirit then you have no forgiveness either now or in future. Jesus said it plainly but you like people make it complex and twist the word of God for your sake. Sin against Holy Spirit is very serious. Jesus Himself told if you make fun of Jesus its forgivable but if you make fun of the Holy Spirit present in Jesus you will not be forgiven either now or in future. Jesus with the help of HS healed that person. But some made fun of the HS saying its demon. This is why Jesus told to them instantly that those people have no forgiveness. In the old testament blasphemy of God is very serious and they are killed instantly and in the same way blasphemy of HS is very serious too.
Catholiclifetv : The Unforgivable Sin is exactly what Jesus said It is. It's speaking against The Holy Spirit. Again Blasphemy Against The Holy Spirit is Unforgivable
That doesn't make sense. Once you commit a sin you've committed a sin. Unpardonable means no amount of repentance will grant forgiveness after crossing the point of no return of committing the sin.
Where in the bible does it EXPLICITLY state the words 'unpardonable' or 'unforgivable'? These are man made terms. Plus, this isn't a single sin itself, rather it is a condition of the heart. Remember that the scripture cannot be broken, and God's word does not contradict itself. There's many verses that support that we are cleansed from ALL sin and righteousness. It doesn't make sense that Jesus would die on the cross for all sins and then make an exception for one sin. What blasphemy of the Holy Spirit is, is not one single sin that is committed in a whim, but rather it is having a hardened hard that constantly resists the Holy Spirit. You don't have to think very hard, why would God make the 'unpardonable sin' so easy to commit? It's not a slip of the tongue, it requires defiant irreverence against God up until the day you die.
Your message n explanation does not agree with tht of the gospels. U could be misled n this could deceive 1 bil Catholics into committing the unpardonable sin. U missed out the most important ingredient ie associating the works of god with the devil. Tht is why the RCC is a false church. Coming from a priest?
There is no unforgivable sin. There is unforgiven sin. The body will rot in the grave. < The body is the sinning part of us. Once it's gone; sin is totally gone. Not a forgiveness issue anymore.
Wrong wrong wrong...that's Greek philosophy masquerading as theology. We are one person and our flesh will be resurrected to a good end or to a bad one
What is sin? Well, let's see. Perhaps it's the official number of 6,433 Catholic priests who have sexually molested children. How does the Catholic church even exist in this world? Nobody has done more on this Earth to turn people away from God than the Catholic church. I'm sure that Father Brad is a nice guy. And he probably loves God with all his heart. But seriously? How can he or any other priest talk about this stuff knowing what horrific crimes the Catholic church has perpetrated on the children of the world?
Every institution in the world has sinful and imperfect people in them.. if you ever do stumble across the perfect church don’t join it you’ll just run it… Bad cops can still write good tickets…
Amen! 💔😭
Thank you for asking for forgiveness for everyone including yourself. You have a good heart for thinking of everyone and not just yourself.
The scriptures put in context will explain the meaning of the unforgivable sin.
Mark 3:29-30:
( Jesus is speaking directly to the scribes) ; but he that shall blaspheme against the Holy Ghost hath never forgiveness, but is in danger of eternal damnation: vs30 because they said, He hath an unclean spirit.

Roman’s 4:4
Having Faith alone in Jesus Christ, that he died, buried and rose on the third day.
And in Romans 3:25 for he is a propitiation through Faith in his blood to wash all your sins away.

By his grace alone, in Faith alone, in Jesus alone.

Thank you Lord Jesus. ❤❤❤ Please strengthen my(our) faith. I love you all Christians who comment here and every Christians out there. Please, let us pray for each other. I am being tortured by this because I thought I cannot be forgiven. I thank God he does not permit me to give up.
Thanks for sharing! This makes me feel better hearing this. Where is this at in the bible do you remember off hand?

The only sin God will not forgive is the rejection of Christ. That is the unforgivable sin.
I don’t know everything but I would say pray to god talk to fellow believers I think the fact that you know you did something wrong shows that you are sorry talk to god he loves you and will not forsake you
@Carla You can’t commit it on accident, so you didn’t commit it.
I am a Christian. Jesus sets you free with His truth. I am not good at words however Jesus is. First John 5:16. Jesus Amen.
That is not the unforgivable sin, because the Bible tells us to test the spirits...in other words God knows we can be confused
Great video! I'm very happy to have found this channel (which I'm surprised isn't more popular) because I love both coffee and the Catholic faith. 😎 ☕ ✝️
There are two points that I would like to add that I think may also be beneficial. One is that God will judge each of us justly. That is to say, God is unlike a human judge in that He will not judge superficially or based on misunderstanding or error, but will reward us each according to what we deserve.
Romans 2:6 God "will repay each person according to what they have done." (cf. Job 34:11, Psalm 62:12, Proverbs 24:12, Jeremiah 17:10, Matthew 16:27, Revelation 22:12)
However, we also know that God is merciful and desires to forgive us if we ask for forgiveness and forgive others.
James 2:12 Speak and act as those who are going to be judged by the law that gives freedom, because judgment without mercy will be shown to anyone who has not been merciful. Mercy triumphs over judgment. (cf. Ezekiel 33:11, Matthew 5:7, Matthew 6:14, Matthew 7:2, Luke 15:11-32, 2 Peter 3:9, 2 Peter 3:15, 1 Timothy 2:4, Revelation 2:21)
If we combine these two facts, I think that we may be assured that in the worst of all possible cases, God will give us exactly what we deserve, but if He does not, it will only be because He has decided to judge in our favor because of His divine mercy. Therefore, as Paul says:
Galatians 6:9 Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.
Well stated.
Father I just watched this again and got something out of it that I didn't last time, hope...
Really? How does this give you hope if you are not able to confess all of your sins?
Read 1 Cor 15, 1:4. That is the gospel. Believe.
Short Answer: None of us can imagine how much God loves us and the true reality of his infinite mercy but the Blasphemy of the Holy Spirit is the ignorance toward God and his Love and Mercy basically saying, "What I'm doing is wrong, I am not sorry for what I am doing and I do not need nor want God's Mercy for what I have done.
i dont know if god will forgive me. I have begged and preyed for forgiveness but i still have a sinking heart that wants to be forgiven
The desire to be forgiven and being sorry is all anyone can be and do with people or God.. i’m sorry, I forgive you, and I love you everyone has to believe that this mercy and forgiveness is for them personally not for everybody else but yourself
Matthew 7:21
Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall. enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth. the will of my Father which is in heaven.
John 6:39-40
King James Version
39 And this is the Father's will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day.
40 And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day.
You can't just isolate Matthew 7 21 and then jump to John 39
Easy believers and hypergracers do this all the time, the isolate the part about "did we not do miracles in your name?" And say "see they're Lordship salvationists trying to get into heaven by their good works" but it's so ironic because if you continue to read Matthew 7 it says "therefore the one who hears my sayings and does them is the wise man who builds his house on the rock and the one who does them not is a foolish man who builds his house on the sand"
The point is even if you perform miracles in the name of Jesus but don't do the things Jesus told you to do you're wasting your time.
Thank you Lord, and thank you father brad🙏 makes all the sense.
but i remembered at thine when I was like 12-13 I was in a middle of committing a sin and had a thought that said "I would trade the holy spirit spirit for this" or something like that, and still committed the sin, I was struggling with blashphamous thoughts and with certain sins back then, and I knew what the holy spirit was, but I'm so scared, plus when I was in a middle of doing a sin I had a thought that said "with this I renounce the spirit" and a follow up thought came up "with this I don't renounce him" and I still committed the sin
That is not the unforgivable sin; the unforgivable sin is knowing Jesus is the Messiah but deliberately telling people that he is from the devil
As those evil Pharisees did
When we ask for forgiveness, I understand you to mean that in that asking you have to believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and He is perfect and only through Him we can be forgiven and experience eternal life. Not just saying I’m sorry.
Thank you I always feel sorry for offending God is that good
It is great 👍
Thank you.. this other minister says that the unforgivable sin is when you're delivered up to anti christ in the end days and you must let the holy spirit speak through you and not to think of what you will say.
what do you mean??
God bless

No, it's okay to question. We are invited to question and reason. Wrestle with God. Persevere in seeking the Truth, it will set you free.

This is what I did too, but I think God understands

The only unforgivable sis, is the unconfessed sin. Use your head, it is the only reasonable conclusion.

What things?
What is the unforgivable sin"... Blasphemy to the Holy Spirit... but "HOW" can a person blaspheme from the Holy Spirit?
The religious leaders saw Jesus was doing miracles but instead of admitting he was from God, they told everyone that he was from Satan. So they called the power "doing" the miracles evil, that is blasphemy against God's Spirit
What happens if you say you don’t want forgiveness in your mind but you still ask for forgiveness
You tell God the truth and ask him for help...we are all horrible sinners and he knows this already

Well, it's more of a logical implication. The pharisees weren't scared. They NEVER thought of the consequences because they didn't care.

Go in peace.” "
Luke 18:10-14 “Two men went up to the temple to pray, one a Pharisee and the other a tax collector.
Amen 🙏
Is it forgivable if you sin due mental illnesses I have anxiety and depression
All sins are forgivable especially when a person does not have complete and total capacities to make rational decisions
Of course! ❤❤❤
What if we die suddenly without having the chance to ask forgiveness for that last sin?
If you have put your faith in Jesus as your Saviour, he forgives ALL your sins.

If someone makes an oath to god to do something can they ask forgiveness and be free of it
You can ask forgiveness for all sins. Was the oath itself "good" or "bad"? I would assume "good" so if you can't meet the oath try to do the oath at some lower level. Start small and work your way up.
Priest during confession can revoke such oaths, go to confession friend. We shouldn't make oaths lightly though.
Yes
Whoever speaks a word against the Son of Man, it shall be forgiven him; but whoever speaks against the Holy Spirit, it shall not be forgiven him, either in this age or in the age to come." - Matthew 12:31-32
Assumption; the root of many false doctrines; Jesus DID NOT SAY the sin against the Holy Spirit was UNFORGIVABLE, He said; "it shall not be forgiven him" ...either in this age or in the age to come."
Why would it not be forgivable? Are not all sins forgivable?
The answer is simple; a person who has spoken against the Holy Spirit (i.e.; REJECTED THE HOLY SPIRIT), and if therefore has a permanently hardened heart, WILL NOT ASK FOR FORGIVENESS because of the hardness of their heart. The sin of speaking against the Holy Spirit would remain UNFORGIVEN, BUT NOT UNFORGIVABLE FOR ANYONE ASKING FOR FORGIVENESS. God cuts them off and turns them over to a hardened heart, but that DOES NOT MEAN that the sin against the Holy Spirit was "UNFORGIVABLE."
If I bought you a are car and handed you the keys and I said "it's yours, drive it anywhere you want." If you refused to drive it, IT IS NOT UNDRIVEABLE because you didn't drive it, but it would remain UNDRIVEN by you because you refused to drive it. A BIG DIFFERENCE!
NO SIN, INCLUDING SPEAKING AGAINST THE HOLY SPIRIT, IS ACTUALLY UNFORGIVABLE...
"Moreover the law entered, that the offense might abound. But where sin abounded, grace did much more abound," - Romans 5:20
"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from ALL unrighteousness." - 1 John 1:9
A person has a hardened heart when, or after, they reject the Holy Spirit over and over again (possibly even after one time...only God knows).
YES!...
"And the LORD said, My spirit SHALL NOT always strive with man, for that he also is flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years." - Genesis 6:3
Jeremiah 7:15-16 - "And I will cast you out of my sight, as I have cast out all your brethren, even the whole seed of Ephraim. Therefore pray not thou for this people, neither lift up cry nor prayer for them, neither make intercession to me: for I will not hear thee. Do you not see what they do in the cities of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem? The children gather wood, and the fathers kindle the fire, and the women knead their dough, to make cakes to the queen of heaven, and to pour out drink offerings unto other gods, that they may provoke me to anger."
Hosea 4:17 - "Ephraim is joined to idols, Let him alone. Their drink is rebellion, They commit harlotry continually. Her rulers dearly love dishonor."
"And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;" - Romans 1:28
NOTE: "God gave them over to a reprobate mind" ...GOD CUT THEM OFF, GOD GAVE THEM OVER to a reprobate mind.
"Therefore they COULD NOT believe, because that Esaias said again, He hath blinded their eyes, and hardened their heart; that they should not see with their eyes, nor understand with their heart, and be converted, and I should heal them."
Just as it was prophesied that it would happen...
"He hath blinded their eyes, and hardened their heart; that they should not see with their eyes, nor understand with their heart, and be converted, and I should heal them. These things said Esaias, when he saw his glory, and spake of him." - John 12:40-41
Speaking against the Holy Spirit is REJECTING the Holy Spirit to the point where God will cut a person off and NO LONGER STRIVE WITH THAT PERSON.
Thank you so much!! I am going to copy this because for decades I've been literally tormented by this
Grieving the Holy Spirit.
Grieving the Holy Spirit comes by certain acts, which amounts to enslaving the spirits.
For Sodom by their acts , their spirits cried out to God & God utterly destroyed the flesh
Even as the men of Sodom (souls) chained for Judgement just as the angels who left first estate, another act that grieved the Spirit.
Now loosed a little & they take many with them.
For warned Jesus " Remember Lots wife, not just to Sodom but COMPLACENCY towards, for a complacent one is already a Sodomite reserved for Condemnation/Judgement . Even as over 70 % of the population of America which Biblically, Prophetically and Spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, are in.
i committed it and i feel so guilty....
If you are alive you haven't committed it. It's only unpardonable if you don't ask for forgiveness for your sins before death. If you confess your sins, tell God your sorry and try to repent, then have Faith that you have been forgiven! :)

No. Read 1 Cor 15, 1:4. That is the gospel. Unbelief is the unpardonable sin.
If any Priest or CatholicLifeTV Admin cannot answer my inquiry, never mind just ignore it. Thanks
Thanks

No

Blasphemy must be spoken for it to constitute as blasphemy. If it's said in thought, then you will be fine.

Thoughts are stupid and God knows your heart
can we repent or ask for forgiveness in our head?
Yes god hears are thoughts
Nope that's just lack of faith like we all have...it's important to not rely on feelings
Only one.
In a sense yes but we just need faith the size of a mustard seed
This teaching is flawed. 1 John 5:13 says
These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.
If you die in the commission of sin before you have a chance to ask for forgiveness, how is this verse true? The only condition for salvation is belief.
Can u confirm if 1 of the thieves asked Jesus for forgiveness or is this another one of the false teachings?
Look it up in Luke
also, what do you mean by "another one of the false teachings"
@@spacegeneral8630yes most of the Pharisees were evil and unrepentant, but some did convert later
But blasphemy against holy spirit can't be forgiving
You can't be forgiven if you don't repent. Remember the scripture cannot be broken and it cannot contradict itself.
1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from ALL unrighteousness.
Luke 13:3 I tell you, no; but unless you repent you will all likewise perish.

Is saying something bad about the Holy Spirit blasphemy?
Yes thats blasphemy including Saying om* and etc. It can be forgiven on mass if its venial but if you did it with full will u have to go to confession because its mortal
Not necessarily, the holy spirit is a witness and the blaspheme against the holy spirit is the permanent decision to deliberately reject the truth it witnesses to. It's called an eternal sin, not a momentary one.
Not exactly...you have to be really against the Lord like the Pharisees were and be unwilling to repent
You could also confess and plan to do the same sin again ? No?
No no no no please no I haven't gone to confession in weeks because I'm scared because I keep going for the same thing I was going to go to the next one am I going to hell
And put your trust in Jesus as your one and only Saviour, that is how we get forgiveness

Is the Blasphemy against the Holy Spirit saying that your classmate is cheating in an exam but you do not have a proof of it? Please answer I am scared.
No. Talk to your teacher if you have proof. If no proof, you shouldn't accuse them in my opinion.
Not even close….
No, that is just talking unwisely
Example: the Pharisees
I smoked crack an cigarettes is it a sin will I go to heaven still
I always commit sin
That is why god invented mercy
Welcome to the club … we all always commit sin ..
You are human
But check out the book of Romans
Being that when we die (sleep), we will be raised to be judged or in the rapture, Jesus meant that, "I'm telling to today, you will be with me in paradise.
It doesn't mean the thief went straight to heaven.
So, what? You're saying that Jesus didn't die for ALL our sins?
Jesus died for all sins
Sorry, I disagree with your explanation that the "Unforgivable sin" is a person who does not want to REPENT... The Bible said, that God will be more merciful to Sodom and Gomorrah (they ALL not repent) than this generation." The generation where the Gospel is Preached yet they still harden their hearts not to believe...
So if you don’t feel sorry for your sins and you plan on sinning again. Is that blaspheming against the Holy Spirit ?
Not necessarily but it's damn close.
