Notice how after Zukos meets with the dragons, when he fire bends, he doesn’t grunt anymore. It shows that he no longer needs anger to fire bend and that he's more calm and composed. He's a better firebender now.
This episode proves that earlier in the episode 2 (book 3) "The Headband", which was essentially a Footloose parody episode where young Fire Nation students weren't allowed to dance, was NOT just a filler episode. Re-watching this episode where Aang & Zuko met these last 2 dragons & danced with them made me realize that by suppressing dancing, it also meant the Fire Nation was intentionally suppressing a key aspect of fire bending. "Dance" took huge part of firebending moves. See how manipulative the Fire Lord is with his propaganda, first he started the tradition of killing the dragons (the original source of firebenders) and glorifying it. And then they banned the dancing activity which is literally the core of firebending movements. This show was the king of foreshadowing & referencing even the smallest of details from earlier episodes. The writing is just so great.
It's just not that. In the classroom they are taught that Fire Nation army defeated Air Bender army, to which Aang responds that Air Nomads did not have a formal military and Sozin attacked them by ambush. The teacher says she doesn't know how Aang could know better than their history books! They are teaching false manipulated history to brainwash their children and hide the fact that it was a genocide. In addition, it is our first look of regular Fire Nation people in this scale. You can see the adults are generally uptight but the children are quite nice and and innocent for the most part. This gives the impression that children become that way when they grow up, because of what they are taught.
Uncle Iroh has so much charisma that even when he doesn't show up in an episode we can still feel his presence . We love Iroh ! Thank you so much guys for another great reaction, can't wait for the next one
Remember my comment from the episode where Katara and Sokka got sick and they suck frozen frogs? Momo gave them Crown where there is the dancing dragon curvings.
I love the concept every element has its yin and its yang, something Jeong-Jeong should've learned too, but instead he believed everyting about water was good and everything about fire is bad. Water can freeze or drown someone (not to mention bloodbending) just as fire warms and supports life. That's precisely a balanced and healthy view of everything in life.
"Fire in firebending comes from breath not muscle" uncle said that to Zuko on Book 1 episode 1, after this episode Zuko no longer shouting when he's bending fire, he's no longer using his anger as power but using his breath
This is my absolute favorite episode that doesnt have iroh in it. The fire is beautiful, the art itself is just beautiful, the sun warriors are such a beautiful people
@@Reactsandgames let's just say that the animators weren't perfect LOL - the ember island players episode has some minor plot items going on overall, but the main point of that whole episode was to have a recap of the entire series before the finale. the results are highly entertaining and has a lot of meta humor in it :)
@@Reactsandgames yup exactly! It happens after the dragons blast fire at Zuko & Aang and you see a swirling fire tornado, when the camera pans back down during the tornado shot you see the scar on the wrong side for a split second
If you remember back to episode 2; they didn’t allow anyone to dance. It’s because the best and truest form of firebending is literally a dance. Also, because one of Zuko’s great grandfathers is Avatar Roku that technically actually does make Zuko and Aang related
Zuko's gotten better arc after this. He has to redeemed everyone in the group (except toph). The best part is, he's started first by redeemed Aang's life companion, our beloved Appa back in S2. Its feel a wholesome moment each episode you upload🥲🥰🥰
Once you complete the ATLA series you got the Legend of Korra series, the Netflix live action series, and a veritable mountain of comics books and novels set in the Avatar universe
Should we also suggest the atrocious movie-that-shall-not-be-named by M. Night Shyamalan? I don't want to scar them for life but I also feel like it's a rite of passage that all ATLA fans have to go through lol😭
If you guys don’t want the series to end, I guess you could check out the live action series. There’s a 50/50 chance you’ll like it. Nowhere near as good as the original but could be worth a try if you’re still needing an avatar fix when this is done
Iroh lied about the dragons that he’s the one who slayed the last dragon, so those two dragons we’re kept hidden and protected. And fire is a light so it produces more colors that’s why the fire tornados showed a lot of colors. And aside from red and blue fire there’s other firebenders who can bend other colors too
Guys, please please react to Kalki 2898 AD glimpse 🔥 and then "Introducing Ashwatthama - Kalki 2898 AD" teaser....!! 🔥🙏🙂 2nd one is an introduction to Ashwatthama, a warrior character from Epic, 𝐌𝐚𝐡𝐚𝐛𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐭 (another one Epic is 𝐑𝐚𝐦𝐚𝐲𝐚𝐧)!! 🔥❤

I didn’t even notice that! 😃😃😃
Dam never noticed that .... and I re-watched the show tons, you learn something new :D
Like Iroh said fire come from the breath not the muscle

This is my favorite non-finale episode ❤ Loving you two soaking in this Zuko-joins-the-group dynamic
Loved it!

In this episode there is a continuity error with zuko’s scar and its mentioned subtly in the ember island players episode hahahaha
Oh really!? Was it on the wrong side or something?

Iroh lied to protect the last dragons from extinction.
Los creadores se inspiraron culturas de América los incas los aztecas y otras en los guerreros del sol 😎😎😎😎😎
Zuko si escucho a su tío inconscientemente práctica todas las lecciones que le dió 😎😎😎
Great timing guys 😀😀

It's been a while since I've caught up with your channel. Why are all the episodes out of order in the playlist?
No idea. Some of them were not added to the list until later because I forgot to add them so could be that
