I love how Steph really is like Katara and Liam is like Aang. Both Liam and Aang are strong men that also wear their hearts on their sleeves. Steph and Katara are so protective of Liam and Aang. It’s really cute to see the parallels between you guys.
Something I always find interesting is Katara's speech to Zuko is very similar to Roku's speech to Sozin. In both cases, they give the person one last chance to do good. But yeah, I love seeing a new side of Zuko this ep. He's kind of just being an awkward teenager and it's great lol
The creators have mentioned in interviews that they didn't write Iroh out of the story due to Mako Iwamatsu's death, most of book 3 had already been written by the time of his death and it was just coincidence that Iroh didn't speak until The Avatar and The Firelord episode
I love seeing the two of you watch Zuko making amends in real time! I remember both of you being so split of opinion on him early in the show, and here y’all both are cheering him on 😂 Gotta love this series. Can’t wait to see the rest!

I think my favorite thing about Zukos redemption arc is that like... obviously redemption arcs have existed for forever now. But its so rare in a show for that arc to also include several episodes of that character actually putting in the work to gain the trust of those he used to be enemies with.
Yeah, the first of Zuko's iconic lines "Hello, Zuko here!" Love it and love your reactions! And totally agree with Katara's ultimatum at the end. The show is pretty much great episode after great episode through the finale.

6:06 makes me really sad every time. Seeing Zuko surrendering on his knees but getting rejected and hit by the water just makes me feel for him. I was so glad that they did except him in the end :)

I love that Toph is more neutral towards Zuko, especially considering her friendship with Iroh and their little talks mentioning his struggles.
