Is there a way to make something appear on only one of the screens? E.g. my character has an invisibility effect and shouldn't be visible on opponent's screen.
Not sure with this solution... maybe if the floor was a solid colour you could try overlaying an active over the split screen by the x and y offset of the 2 players.

You can use "sub-aplpication" extension and jus use diffrent levels use same object location
