It’s truly my pleasure Dennis! I completely agree, Spaceship Earth is always a must do for me as well. I’m honestly glad the ride didn’t get refurbished, because I’m not sure I could’ve survived the almost 3 year down time that was originally planned. The ride could certainly use some updates, but maybe something that wouldn’t take so long to update. Thank you so much as always 😃
My favorite at Epcot. Sad Disney has gotten away from attractions with a lot of Audio Animatronics like this. We want more AA's not less. Always have to get multiple rides so I can smell Rome burning..lol Fantastic quality 4K.

I'm all about old school EPCOT!
As much as I’m not a fan of most recent Disney Parks stuff (with the exception of Galaxy’s Edge, Rise of the Resistance, and Cosmic Rewind), they still do audio animatronics to this very day and are becoming more and more advanced. So while it seems like they’re doing less, they really aren’t TBH.
Correct. I'd like to see more of the animatronic rides that took skill to build rather than the 'recent movie adaption' rides
I will always remember this as my first ever ride at Epcot, all those years ago. And I always make a point to hop on every time I visit Epcot. The detail on this video is amazing. Nicely done 😊

I've seen a lot of videos of Spaceship Earth. This is by far the best quality. Excellent dark coverage and very clear. I sure miss the Jeremy Irons narration. His voice added a little mystery to the ride. Walter Cronkite was good, but he made it sound more like a documentary. Judith Dench sounds too much like a teacher. :) I guess they all have their own styles which makes Spaceship Earth a favorite with guests. Great job 4K!

So many of the ride through videos of this ride do a bad job capturing the audio because the speakers are behind you as you sit in the ride vehicle.. but this channel always is able to capture the audio so well. I love his content!

Couldn’t agree more! This ride and Living with the land keep the original vision of the park alive! Hahaha the ending pics were funny. We always turn our heads for that intentionally and usually no picture shows up, but this time it still got the side of out heads and hair😂 Thank you so much for watching and for the kind words as always 😊

😊So happy the 8K the treatment was given to SpEarth! (I had hoped you'd give it the honor🎖) Your captures were always great, but this gives a new dimension to the animatronics with the lights/shadows. I know it's not everyone's bag, but I'd be sad if they would get rid of the "education" sections at the bottom. Some people don't have the attention span of a gnat and enjoy that stuff. And the lights 🌐at night only add to making this iconic! Thanks for putting up with the standby line for the queue💜

I agree, there really isn’t a need to change anything (which is probably why Disney ended up stopping the refurb). I just wish they added some new scenes for the ending. I think I’ve gone through every single scenario at least a million times each at this point😂 Thank you so much as always 😊
Thank you 4K! This and the movie at France are my two favorite attractions at Epcot.
I enjoyed the scene selection, and like the way you showed both sides of the ride in ancient Egypt and Phoenicia.
I HOPE THEY NEVER CHANGE THIS RIDE. Since it is about history, I see no need. Plus, it is a good summary of the past.
Another thing I love about this ride is the music - it is classic Disney (like the Illuminations music). Shame they've lost their way on this. I've downloaded the nattation and music and often list to it on my walks.
I rarely look around the Project Tomorrow part, but appreciate your providing an excellent summary of what is there.

I agree Ken! I’d be totally fine if this ride stayed exactly the same forever. It has always been by far my favorite, with Living with the Land being 2nd. I also have the music and narration saved to my phone, and listen to it all the time! Safe to say I am obsessed haha. Thank you so much as always 😃
@@4KWDW I appreciate your reminding me about Living with the Land. As info, when they go by the farm house, that area reminds me so much of my home state of Kansas. I'm originally from the northeast part of the state. That scene is a nice coposite of what farms have (or used to).

I love this. My first time at DW i was too young and not knowing what Spaceship Earth was, I was too scared to go. We went back in 1996 and I remember loving this. It was very cool.
I went back this spring, 27 years later. it was so sweet to ride this with my folks all these years later.
This have to be one of my favorites ride ever in all of Walt Disney World which is sad because I like all the rides at WDW but there something about going back into time that get me into Disney magic lol
Finally commenting…after watching late yesterday. This was such great timing, 4K, for your sharing this attraction…had been a rough day and evening (just me being a cranky old man, mostly) and as one of my favorite attractions, hearing he music and Dame Judi Dench…seeing the star tunnel on the way back through time, just washed over me for relief from the day and the onset of Disney happiness. Just a great coincidence of timing…but always grateful for your skill at capturing the views and sounds so well!!!

this was always my favorite ride as a kid, i moved away when i was 4 so it’s been a while and i dont remember much but i’ll never forget looking up at the stars in awe, best part by far. i also remember always shitting my pants when i saw the mammoths in the beginning, they looked so real 😂

One of the few spots that we can still feel the original spirit of the 80’s Epcot Center! A place to learn with the Disney magic, as used to be. 🥲
Oh now I rlly wanna go there! I had the chance to go one it recently but I didn’t because I was too scared it was gonna be a fast/ rough ride and now I regret it so much!! I absolutely love history
Great ride, and great filming! This would be the perfect ‘school trip’ event for local schools to teach history in a fun way. I see some subtle reminders of classic WDW rides here (PeopleMover, Mission to Mars & Carousel of Progress). And to top it off; ‘M’ herself - Dame Judy Dench! 🍿🍿🍿

I don’t necessarily think the ride needs to be updated. But they did talk about before Covid a lengthy update. I’m know they permanently put it on the “back burner”, wonder for how long?

I agree, overall the ride is great just the way it is. The only thing I think needs updating is the descent, and also the track is in rough shape(at least I assume it is from all the odd noises I hear while riding). But even so, this ride is my favorite by far right now and there really isn’t a need to update it in my opinion

I've still not actually ridden during the Dame Judi Dench narration. The last time I was there was back when it was still Jeremy Irons. I love Judi Dench, but I groan every time I hear the whole 'Thank a Phoenician' line.
