    Really appreciate the detailed content. Just started with Air Pro and CruiserJet 1500. Looking forward to upgrading to a more "carvy" wing soon. You video helped immensly!!

    Thanks for awesome info! What are your thoughts on the new wings: the MN 1300 and the Wave 1000 and 850, especially with an Ultra L2.

    I received good advice when purchasing this spring, and got the Pro with Cruiser Jet 1500 plus 300 (I weigh 150lbs). Perfect for learning, and still is now that I'm confident; I don't foresee buying anything else ever. The 1500 gets on foil at slower speeds which is much safer and extends the distance, which is what I care about.

      Pro + 1500 + 300 is probably the most versatile set up, one of my favorite combos!

      What battery are you running and how much ride time are you getting on average?

    This video added massive value while doing research for potential future wing setups. Therefore, for my SiFly Rider board and as a rider of 154 lbs, I will get a 1100 Flow S / 245 Flow combination to carve and a 800 Flyer / 300 Cruiser (300 Cruiser is the basic stab of SiFly (very similar to the Cruiser Jet 300 stab)) as a standard more speedy but less dynamic setup. Can't wait to give it a try, but first I need to go on with getting more used to efoiling, started with a 1900 Cruiser / 340 Cruiser (SiFly wings) and at the next session, I'm going to first time ride the 1300 Cruiser / 300 Cruiser combination.
    Thanks a lot!

      Glad people are finding this helpful. But keep in mind there is more to a wing than just the surface area. You can't assume the same size wings of different brands will feel the same

    If you were to buy 3 more wings to add to my lineup what would you buy?
    I already have:
    900S
    CJ 1500
    1100 flow
    Considering:
    Race setup
    1300 flow
    900 flow
    1100S
    1300S
    Another CJ 1500 (I have 2 setups and this would be for both people to ride while I teach if that makes sense)

      Hi there, you kind of already have the most versatile wings already. I would recommend adding more stabilizers to your collection and play around with different combinations. At the end of the day it will depend on what activity you see yourself doing effect what wings you'll want to add to your stash!

  • @athensorchard9814

    What do you think the best wing setup is for a 215lb rider for carving? Currently have a flow 1300.

    • @BayFoils
      @BayFoils  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      All the flow wings are great, the easier way to carve better is by using a nano flitecell if you are not already! If you want to ride faster you can get a flow 1100 or 900. They are faster and looser but you will have to set the power level higher and it will drain more battery.

    whats your opinion on Xfoil and how you compare it to Efoil

    • @BayFoils
      @BayFoils  10 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Xfoil like lift places their motor on the mast, not inline with the fuselage like fliteboard. This decreases the height you can ride out of the water, the angle you can carve, and makes it easier to breach the water and crash. Flightboard has the design patent for the unibody fuselage and is the industry leader for both beginners and high performance riders. 🤙

    I am using S1300 with 245....But its too much nose up...Which wing should I use with a 245 and not foiling nose up?

      Hey this is levi from the video. I would recommend trying the new cruiser 300 stabilizer with your flow 1300s. A bigger stabilizer helps it stay level at a slower speeds. Otherwise depending on your weight sizing down to the 1100s will feels better with the 245 at higher speeds. Im around 175 and with 1100s + 245 it ride really smooth and level around lvl 4-5. 🤙

      @@levithewizard I am 145....you mean cruise jet 300?...the problem is I cant stand up because it is so much nosed up...When I was renting to learn...I remember the board was remaining flat till 3/4 speed...time to easily get up

    • @BayFoils
      @BayFoils  11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      If you're 145lbs is pretty light for the flow 1300s. You're probably getting a too much lift at the speed you're trying to ride at. You can fix that in one of three ways. 1: Technique (more front foot pressure, closer foot position, and more speed) 2: Replace your 245 with a cruiser jet 300 stabilizer (which will give more lift from the back and level the board out) or 3: down size your front wing to a 1100 or 900 (as a lighter person you don't need such a big wing in the front to lift off the water)
