    Cool video, and you are a brave man brrrrrr! I have a Flow 1300 and man I love it so much 😁 it actually really improved my riding and made me feel much much more connected to the board, also I know it's not important but I love the shape, I find myself just staring at it, it's so elegant.

    Good job! I just bought the Flow 1100 and the stabilizer. Looking forward to it once I get my battery back from the shop. Battery is not charging all the way and I only get about 55 minutes. I did watch your battery videos so thanks but I expect a warranty service or a new one. Anyway if you get to Clearwater Florida I’ll let you take my pro out for a spin in the Gulf. I just broke the top 100 on the app for worldwide distance. By the way that was a very close call when that students board almost cut your head off! Thanks for the videos!

      Thank you for watching...yes the flow 1100 is good but you might like the 1100 S even more...but then again is all a matter of personal preference and how you ride...I was there in Florida not too log ago...but now I'm stoked here in Boston not riding for the whole winter...Dont worry man...if they can't figure out what is wrong with your battery they will deff give you a new one...the costumer service with Fliteboarod is really good. Lucky you to have the whole cost of Florida to enjoy ti all year around...have fun and put some miles for me brother...Yes...that was a close call...I always try to get a close shot with my friends where we both can be in the shot...but every time I do I approach very carefully and my reflexes are on point lol...Thank you for watching bud...I got some cool things on the way for this year..be safe other bud.

      @@Coach_Rolando Kokatat Hydrus 3L Meridian Dry Suit are bomb proof, there are other brands that are good. I also have water shoes (Astral Hyak) which are one size to big because of the added material from the dry suit and thick socks you'lll need. You need to wear shoes over your feet to protect the dry suit fabric. You will want at least one layer over your body, otherwise, it gets sticky. I wear Icebreaker long johns and long sleeve thin top. You will feel like you are being strangled the first few times you wear it as the neck is really tight. Have fun, you will stay warm. Make sure you always zip that sucker up, you will know very quickly if you have left a gap.

      Thank you Rick...No Rick on this video I was not using the 290...I was using the 245.
      Since then I went back to the 290....to be honest don't like the 245 that much...is very "slidy' or should I say slippery on the back...im sure there are people who likes that way but I like to have a nice "bike" on sharp turns...the 245 makes the back slide a little so that is why I like the 290 better

    Look like fun. Just way to cold for me. I just got my Fliteboard yesterday :) I’m gonna take it out for my first ride on Friday. I got the 100 L with the 1100 cruiser and 290 stabilizer wings. Oh and by the way I’ve lost a total of 65 pounds now!!!! So now my battery will last much longer, imagine six 10 pound sacks of potatoes less dead weight.

      Are you in the Boston area??? If so as long you got a wetsuit it is not that bad...now if you are learning , most likely you will be falling in the water more often...But if you can cruise already you will be fine...You will have a blast and it is super addicting .If is above 55 here in Boston Im game lol Congrats on the weight loss...this will keep you motivated to stay even leaner.

      @@Coach_Rolando I live in San Jose California about a quarter mile from eBay original campus. I’m gonna start efoiling in a lake nearby but then when I get good and have 500 miles under my belt and I’m confident I’m going to be flying in the San Francisco Bay. My goal is to loop Alcatraz & Angel Island but then I’m going to launch at horseshoe Bay which is Sausalito and fly over to Chrissy Field in San Francisco and back. That’s route is under the golden gate bridge. The current is very strong there so that may take a while before I’m ready for that one. I have been on the bay before when it’s like glass and it’s amazing, I’ll be definitely looking for days like that. When I was a kid we used to go out on a boat once a year to accompany the dolphin club who used to swim the length of the Golden Gate Bridge. If those old guys can swim it I should be able to efoil across.

      @@shawndugan8035 I know exactly where you are...Ive been to Alcatras as a tourist...yes strong corrent...the longest run I done on my board was 20 miles...but this was when the battery was stronger...I lost about 10% of the power...But here is a tip so your battery can last much longer...Never run your battery to almost 0...I used to run it until I had like 5% so I could enjoy as much as I can...After some research I leaned that you do not want to go below 20%...then I used to charge the battery at 100% (another mistake)...you want to charge your battery only about 60% max specially if you will not use it right the way...them when you know you will ride..."top the charge" right before you go foiling...So here is the brake down.
      1- never go below 20%
      2- Charge up to 50 50 to 65%.
      3- The day or about 1 hour before you go foiling "top off your 100%" charge ...and after you charge leave the "magnet" on so you equalize the batteries.
      his is stuff that fliteborad does not talk about it...but is my research on "preserving and caring about lithium batteries".
      I dont use a bootie...I use a "neoprene" sock...The booties are too thick and I need the feeling of my toes and feel the closest as I can to the board so I can respond better.
      Now I don't know if is just me...but if I put a bootie on I lose my balance just a little ...specyally for the fact that I learned bare foot...so anything that makes me feel not in "contact with the board' throws me off balance lol...I try a 3 mm and I was off..this is 2mm...but I don't think you need or want a 5mm cause really our feet in not in the water all the time. I hope this helps bud

    Is this your full-time wing now? Even in flat water? Looks like a lot of fun, I’ve got mine on the way.
    I would love to see how you get your board in and out of the water on the dock, I’ve damaged mine a couple times so now I steer clear of docks.

    • @Coach_Rolando
      @Coach_Rolando  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes...it is my full time wing now...It can be tricky to ride it in flat water....the problem is that is very sensitive to wakes and waves...in a flat day is perfect but is too windy with too many small waves and wakes it can easily throw you off balance.... However in flat days is a blast to ride it...Im now carrying both wings set up in my car depending on the condition of the day...Yes bud...plenty of damage on my board so far from docks...so Im actually about to make a 1 year and 1K miles on my fliteboarod and tips, dos and donts video soon...maybe this week if the weather helps...so hang in there and once I post it please comment on it....but it is normal to get some dings on your board....get some "clear adhesive =" tape and cover them...you do not want water to be infiltrating inside of your board...wait until you got enough dings so you can bring it to a "fiber glass" person or a surf shop to fix it.

    Hey Rolando thanks for the reply. My wing and stab did not come with the fuselage body adapter. Is that a separate part I need to order as I expected it to come with the wing? Also I contacted your friend Steve about negative shims and he responded right away then disappeared completely!! Never got back to me after that so I figured he was told to stop selling those shims.

    • @Coach_Rolando
      @Coach_Rolando  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hello Scot...You just have to exchange the wings...the fuselage is the same ...there is 2 screws for the stab and 3 screws for the wing...everything else stays on the mast/fuselage...the tail that you holds the "rear wing/stab" stays on...you don't need to change it...did that made sense? Steve is still making the shims...he actually made them even better...It is hard to get a hold of him for sure...but as far as I know he still making the shims...do you have his number? if not let me know and I can send it to you...but you can find it on the fliteboarod website as the New England Fliteboarod school...hold on...here it is....978-852-4038
