Oh that olive green dress is so pretty… the neckline, the length, the flow - perfect… then the red one that followed for the same reasons!! However, the pleated skirt, long dress that also reminds me of Anthropology is lovely… thanks for sharing Meredith! 🙏😂🎉🎶
I was so pleasantly surprised!! The ones they sent in the past were that non-breathable cotton-adjacent looking stuff. I am so happy with these - I’ve worn 3 of thrm to work this week 🤣. Have a wonderful weekend ❤️
I appreciate that you show how the dresses look when you’re sitting. There have been times when a dress was modest when I’m standing then I sit down and “Hello girls!”😂 You look lovely in all your selections.
Thanks for an enjoyable haul and a glimpse of your lovely dog. My Old English Sheepdog, Benjamin was a year old in August Only seems like yesterday that I was telling you about my 8 week old puppy. He was fixed up last week but he is back to his usual bouncy self. It is a breed trait that they bounce instead of walk with all four paws off the ground at the same time just like a deer. Tongue sticking out with a big smile. They are like a tonic to make you smile. Just like your good self.Wendy
Hello beautiful lady! I really loved these items, but my favorite is the green seersucker dress followed by the red plaid dress. As always, your beautiful smile is amazing. I love what you do, Meredith.
Good morning. I love the olive dress the best, followed by the red with the white and plaid dresses. Thank you for showing that bigger gals can look beautiful. 😍
Okay, I just watch this video and absolutely loved it! I am pretty cheap when it comes to my clothing and I have been ordering from Roamans and woman within for years, but I'm getting frustrated with them because I feel like their prices are too high for some very basic items. I tend to order only on clearance sale from them. I recently have been thinking that I would love to find another brand to try something different. This is a brand I've never heard of before, but certainly loved the Christmas selection you presented. I agree that not everyone is a keeper, I love the overall Christmas and country vibe. Thank you for introducing us to a more reasonably priced brand of plus size clothing.
Thank you, Tambra! In the past, I have just seen those printed cotton-like dresses and tops from them, and I normally don’t find that fabric breathable. I was pleasantly surprised here! I have felt that same way about lane Bryant- they have priced me out on basics! I would recommend also looking at Maurice’s- they have great sales and are really reasonable for quality stuff!
I haven't left a detailed opinion in awhile, but I generally loved these dresses, so here I go! As always, I'm just giving my opinion straight up. 😊 My top three are the green seersucker, the plaid and the sweater top/crystal pleat skirt dress. All very different in terms of where and how you'd wear them, but all equally great on you! They looked beautiful and were perfectly cut for you. My next fave was the alternating red stripe and dot dress. I actually loved this dress and thought it was beautiful in you. I know you thought the bust was off, but it looked fine, honestly, If it made you feel uncomfortable, though, I guess it's a no. I'd actually try it in the next size. The construction is such that I don't think it would be overly large, but it would probably out the bust line where you'd like it and make the sleeves just right in length. I definitely think it might be worth exploring if you liked the dress - and you seemed to. The only ones I didn't care for were the red smocked and the plaid. The red smocked was too short IMO. Had it been 3-4 inches longer, I'd have liked it more. But I also didn't like it as much as the other red dresses, so... I also think I'm being influenced by the fact it looks just like a Polly Flinders dress I had for Christmas one year as a child and a similar one my daughter wore as a little girl for one Christmas. It sorts of gives off vibes of the Mommy part of a mommy-daughter combo of dresses with no child... 😂 And, of course, if I thought the red was too short, the plaid is definitely too short. Boots or no (boots might have saved the length on the red smocked dress), it's just too short. As you say, maybe over leggings or narrow legged jeans with flats, but if you have to struggle to make it useable, is it worth keeping? I haven't told you how much I love your new space! It's so exciting that you have your own little studio to work in! ❤
My favorite is the olive green one and next is the short red and white. I'm only 5'2" so it would likely be longer on me. I also like the brown one but it doesn't read holiday to me at all.
Thank you for turning me on to Ritera. I’d never heard of the brand before I came across your video. This evening, I bought two dresses and one of them is the plaid dress you’re wearing in the thumbnail. Normally, the plaid dress wouldn’t be quite my style but I think it makes a good Christmas dress. It also kind of reminds me of the school uniform we all had to wear in prep school, so it’s nostalgic on two fronts.
I really liked the green one on you. It looked great. The brown one would look spectacular with some bold gold jewelry-- that would also make it look more "Christmas-y". I loved your family holiday picture-- you all looked great!
Love the last dress the best but all were pretty. The short one was my least favorite but with leggings I think it would be cute . Thanks again for sharing these clothes with us.
Meredith! These dresses are beautiful! Like you, red is my favorite color! I especially like the plaid, and I love the green one! I like the fabric of the lighter red plaid, but not so much the cut! You look adorable in the red top/ jeans at the beginning of the video ❤ thank you for starting the day with me ❤
Thank you, Vicki! I didn’t have high expectations, but was pleasantly surprised by these! I appreciate you starting YOUR day with me! You are wonderful!
Great styling! I agree with your top picks. A word I learned is fabrication, but composition is also good. Thank you for sharing & your genuineness & authenticity.
I liked the ones you picked as your favourites. The pink plaid looks like pyjamas almost to me. Your video's are SO fun to watch Meredith. Your personality shines through and makes your videos unique. Your husband is right on board with you which is GREAT!!! Hey, no Lulu in this one. Have an amazing Christmas whatever you decide to wear. The red flannel looks good on you as well as your other picks. Loved your family photo for Christmas as well.
Yeah, the joy of being tall. LOL I'm your height/size/body type, and I have the same problem with smocked waists and empire waists. I always wish for an extra inch or so more bodice bc they ride up the bottom of Mt bust. I solve it by constructing an inner drawstring on the seam. I stich 8 equidistant ribbon loops on the inside waist seam and run a ribbon through as a drawstring... put the dress on, tie the drawstring and drop the skirt. It keeps it from pulling up over the girls.
The olive green dress is my favorite. You looked great in that one but your you looked great in most of them. I loved the holiday theme. Merry Christmas to you and your family! ❤
Just went to the site!! Oh I could go craycray!!What a reason to go & loose weight for since their idea is a 4X that is a 26 .. I need a 28/30. The stretch tops would fit me as a sausage. Thank You for sharing as I can hold for another time plus share! My niece & bonus daughter both would love these styles!!
Really thought the red smocked much better than the red plaid. I think tights would be really cute with it. The green (olive) dress looked very nice with booths too.. the red plaid was adorable so Christmasy. Great choices Meredith!🎄🎄
Thx for the very lovely selection for the holidays. I wanted to tell you that I bought and wore a black & cream dolmen sleeve knit sweater for the first time. I really liked it and before watching your videos, I would not have purchased.
Alta, I love that!!! I have tried so many things that I never would have tried before- I love that we are branching out together!! I bet that you looked beautiful!
In all fairness, he isn’t super knowledgeable of fashion, typically. Our daughter is a little hippie at heart and we call her our boho babe! But he did a great job!!
I really loved this haul , I think the green dress looked so good on you, you are right the red , green and plaid dress were the best , they looked great on you , also where did you get those amazing boots ? Beautiful Christmas Picture
Oh, they are from Torrid- let me look to see what I did for sizing because they fit really well! Ahh, they are still on the site, but in very limited sizing, I’m sorry! I feel like I have very wide calves, but I ordered a half size down in Wide width (not extra wide) rstyle.me/+-rN4__DfMJhmk8FSKr5ZGA
The short dress would look cute with some shorter bike shorts for modesty. It’s SUPER cute with the tall boots. The smocked dress is ADORABLE and a great length on you. I love the twofer dress and if it comes in a different color I will be picking it up. I have alot of pain and texture issues and I’m always looking for comfy one pieces to just pop over my head and go. I loved the winter white twofer from Anthro, but it’s not in my budget now
Thank you, Anna, The brown one from Ritera is really similar. I have rented a bunch of the twofers from Nuuly, but typically the sale price is still really high. I bet that in the new year we see some price cuts on the ones with long sleeves.
I wasn't familiar with this brand, but am giving them a try. Looks like they also currently have a BOGO 50% off sale right now, too, so I picked up a long sleeved shirt and a skirt for about $25 + shipping. Not too bad. Looking through their site and the product descriptions, it reminded me a LOT of the Bloom Chic website, wondering if they're related, the info was so similar. Not exactly the same, but similar.
I like that most of the dresses have pockets. I like all the dresses except the very short red dress. The style of the dresses fit and looked great on you.
Thank you very much, Brenda! I really like that this brand is branching out into different styles. I hope to see more from them in the future. I appreciate you so much for always taking the time to share your thoughts ❤️🎄❤️
@ I really like your content and wish it had been around back when I was teaching in the Houston area. I like that most of your videos concern fashion that is geared towards warmer climates like Houston. Merry Christmas to you and your family.
@ I didn’t realize that you taught down here! Have you moved? I would love to be in a cooler climate and we would absolutely do it if it wasn’t for family and jobs!! (Pretty important exceptions!)
I added the pleated midi to my cart and hoped to be able to use your code, but the site doesn't consider that item eligible. Maybe because it's already on sale? I'll have to try this brand out and hope to use your code to support you too!!
These were some pretty dresses and looked nice on you. I love anything in the red plaid. These seemed to be geared for women instead of teenagers or young 20 something’s.
I agree- I think I could see my daughter in either the green or the short pink, but she would not go for any of the others. I like that the length of the short ones is not crazy short!
The best thing about it is …… is that it’s RED! Rust was a surprise for me I loved it. Boho hmm it looks like you’re trying to hide that beautiful body you just discovered, it’s not flattering on you. You do not need to wear this type of dresses anymore you’re sexy! The smocked top is next and much better. Not sure why but it looks better on you, maybe the length your beautiful height looks better with sophisticated lengths. Olive is PERFECT! You look gorgeous! And you can wear it all year love it! Plaid Christmas YAY. You can wear it all thru the holidays it looks great.
Thank you so much, Tamara, you are too sweet!! I really loved all of the reds! It helps that it is my favorite color and favorite season!!! I can see what you mean about the boho- all of them were generous in fabric, but that one was just very drapey! Sending some Christmas love and cheer your way 🎄❤️

@@anitaturner2999 thank you so much, Anita!! I never think of seersucker in the winter, but I like it - and it was heavier than I would have expected!

Absolutely!! It has been pretty awesome finding new things- I like Lane Bryant and Torrid, but for 15 years I thought those were my only options!

May I ask what size you ordered these dresses in.? Thanks
I love these styles and you looked so cute in them! I don't love Ritera's sizing. In what world is a 28 a 5x???

I measured it with a tape and using a traditional US scale, it was a size 18 at best!!! I am that I did not notice it before and bring attention to it in the video.

How fast was the shipping? Maybe I missed it but would they deliver before Christmas?
Hey Lisa, right now they have 24 hour processing and 6-12 bus day shipping. So, I believe they would be close- between the 16th and 24th. Mine took 7 business days to come in
@ thank you! They are all so cute but that olive green one really caught my eye! Thanks for sharing!
Do you need to wear a slip with these? I hate how shear dresses are. I don't wear slips. I was done with those 20 years ago.
Laura, I do not wear a slip with them. I haven’t worn one in as long as I can remember
When you spun around in the red plaid the matching of the plaid at the back seam line was awful. That makes it a big NO.
You should buy a pair of leggings just to show off the clothing that works with them for show to your audience.
