I think my favorite part of this episode, is realizing that Richie knew Nat was pregnant. He asked her if she "wanted a sprite because she looked green" and in Fishes he got his gf a price because she was sick while she was pregnant.
It's not talked about enough how Carmie feels about his job and the restaurant. He doesn't find it fun or doesn't know what makes him happy. On top of that he might be depressed and he has some serious self-worth issues. I hope they dive deeper into that in s3. It just feels like he's addicted to this lifestyle and thinks it's the only thing he's good at he can't do anything else. ofc he's passionate and cares for what he and Michael dreamed together but there's a lot of sadness to his character even without his brother's passing that didn't get much screen time till the end of the season. (wont say any more for spoilers sake)
Theres a lot of real talk in this wrap up. I moved back to my hometown after 12 years last summer. Everyone wants to talk to me and i just want to be left alone. Im glad im not the only one. Also, I have friends named Danielle and Daniel. They had D&D wedding invitations. They both play D&D so it was kind of cool.
This show is so well written with things you might not pick up on at first or don’t completely pay off until later for example Richie asking Sugar if she wants a sprite which in this episode is meaningless but makes way more sense post ‘fishes’ and then Carmen gives his phone number to the fridge guy and then when he gives his number to Claire he gives a different number there are other examples obviously which are also all great, the chocolate banana probably being my favorite callback, but this shows writing is just so tight
Ebon Moss-Bachrach and Matty Mattheson (Richie and Fak) smooched at an award show and I am convinced that scene with the mold is why. You don't get two actors up in each other's face that much with a scene that definitely took multiple takes to get without them smooching at some point.
It's crazy to see all the people say they missed it. Like the camera didn't zoom in to his face as he took the worlds biggest pause before saying the final digits.
I come from a same initial family, all D O’D. It’s gross. Lol. At one point my mom had a vanity plate that said 3D OD. Our signatures are also suspiciously similar.
I love this show. But, the more I watch the more I’m convinced the actress playing Sydney is the weakest actor on the show. Before someone comes at me with “she won awards so clearly she’s good” just stop because everyone knows awards are just for show and ultimately meaningless. I’m not saying she’s terrible. She’s just the weakest part of it. The character is fine, but her delivery doesn’t match up to what everyone else is doing.
It does feel that way at times but as the show progresses she does find her range. She's growing into the role. PS, Claire reminds me of Pam from the Office
it’s funny Ariana said “just make out already” cause it made me wonder if she’s aware of them ACTUALLY making out at one of the award shows lol 😭
"what are your intentions with my fictional character" real shit

The scene in the apartment made me smile. Syd told Carmy it was her mother’s birthday but left out a detail.
Maple said "What are your intentions with my Carmy!?" lol

Robert Townsend, Syds dad.
Meteor MAN! lol
Carmy gave her the wrong phone number
Did anyone notice that Carmy gave her the wrong number?
"Every time I see them I'm like 'just make out'"
They actually did during their Emmy's acceptance speech lmaooo 😅😅😅
im sorry but arianna’s “about to cry” lip is the cutest thing ever 😭😭
"PIVOT ... PIVOT!!!" - Ross 😂
I had some second cousins or something that I used to see once a year growing up. Their family's names were Ken and Karen and Kelly and Kenny.
Matty is so goon in this show, what a great producer for it as well. Love his cooking channel.
I promise you both if I ever meet you in a grocery store I won't ask you for a million dollars. $600k, max. Well...$750k on the outside
Ladies, what restaurants (if you can't name them, what type) and what jobs did you have in restaurants?
Pretty sure it was just front of house as servers or hosts
I wish I could go to maple's restaurant but I live in north carolina
'The Bear" has the most reality show feel of any series I have seen since 'Succession.'
Claire's eyes are incredible.
They missed the part about Carmy giving his number.. 😬

@chand911 he spells out his number at the start of the episode and no one catches it
@@619Gotenks yup. It was also written out
@@619Gotenksyes, they intentionally had Carmy shout his number while talking on the phone.
" approaching someone you know at the grocery store is a bold moved".... I feel that so muchhhh lol 😂

Im in love with Claire
Awesome reaction of my favorite episode of The Bear!!!!!!😊😊😊😊😊😊😊
Omg yall have to do The Gentlemen series. It's phenomenal. Guy Ritchie in top form.
You totally missed he gave her a fake number.
I've never seen anyone catch it
@@DiegesisIt’s difficult because most viewers are distracted by the locker noise when Carmy gives the fridge guy his number.
yeah i havent seen one person pick that up in reactions lol. i only picked up on it because im stoned and hyper focused when i watch this shit lol
@@Diegesis Even I didnt catch it until I went on reddit. Only people that have great memory could of caught that lol
Because you're watching reactors, who by their very profession aren't paying attention fully. They are performers.@@JoshuaDay0550

I like her overall but I do agree with you.
