Watched few videos on the hardware you provided, I wish you guys supply with stainless steel siding brackets and bolts, heard people having issues with rusting out parts. Holding off on my purchase now.
How do you know how much to torque those riv nuts? It's got to be a delicate feel for when enough is enough and they are compressed enough. 12 holes though - makes me a nervous.
Same concern! Any Idea of torque required? Why would they totally neglect that piece. It's the anchors of the whole system and we don't want to over kill or go to soft on the bolting!
How do you know how much to tighten ? And how you take off what looks like a spacer that your tighten in to make the hole where the screw goes ? Can we have a video ?
@@CBIOFFROADFAB in comments below you say that the measurement is 8 1/2". I also emailed you guys about there being no instructions included and so far I have not received a reply.
Watching your video make it look so simple, make me want to install my Prinsu Roof Rack myself instead of taking to a shop that doing a sloppy job. Only thing I'm nervous is drilling holes on my brand new 2022 Tundra.
We totally get where you are coming from. If you decided to have someone install it then we could do that for you as well if you would like to make a trip to Idaho.
The wind deflector trim has aluminum in the end of it that helps to clamp it onto the wind deflector. You can remove it and put it back on and it will hold tight.
Sorry for the confusion. If you have the Crew Max then you will drill your first hole at 9.25". The PDF is for the Double Cab which you would drill your first hole at 8.50". Hope that helps!

All racks come with stainless bolts now as well as our new coating to prevent any sort of weathering to the hardware.

They probably don't know themselves, seems jankey to me.
Is there one for the Tacoma dual cab

Is the distance back from the windshield the same on a double cab?
Yes it is very similar.

Get a no-drill spider roofrack
Once you take the black molding off do you have to use anything to make it stick or does it go back into place? Thanks!

These instructions make it seem so easy
It will take a little more time than you probably think, but the install usually goes pretty smooth!
@@PrinsuRacks after I drilled the hole when I put the bolt in to tighten it, it just kept spinning!

@@seemsfishy4289 I'm gonna buy a Plus Nut tool.. hopefully that'll work.
Someone bought the wrong one for their Tacoma and it’s the right one for my Tundra but they are missing the hardware. Is this something I can order?
Gonna get me one, thanks for the tutorial
You got it! Let us know if we can help with any further questions.
The video says 9.25” for the first hole and the PDF instructions say 8.50” so which is correct? Thanks.
