I have watched other people install roof racks that you have to dig out the foam to drill and install riv nuts and bolt your roof rack on. I see that yours installed with pop rivets. Have you had any issues with your rack coming loose with using the pop rivets? What kinds of things are you going to put up there? I would like to carry light items like recovery gear, traction boards, ect. I don’t plan on carrying alot of weight up there. Your video now has me rethinking about getting a roof rack. If the pop rivets work just fine, that is a way simpler method for mounting. I was panicking about drilling big holes and digging out the foam for riv nuts and huge globs of silicone. Plus I like to able use my moonroof. Nice video
No issues at all, I love it! So I carry a Roam box full of all my recovery gear and some tools on the driver side, and my 11 gallon water/shower tank on the passenger side(that’s usually full of water, so it’s not light). And haven’t had any problems whatsoever, hope that helps!
love your truck, love your content! the new tundras look so good but i think i will hang on to my 2021 trail edition haha i love the tried and true v8. keep making more content man, i am also in the process of turning my truck into an overland build, so this is giving me alot of ideas. i am sold on the roof rack for sure!

Great Installation video guide, how much height does this rack adds to the car, how far past the Fin Antenna does it go ? My Building Garage has a clearance of 79" that is like 1 " extra for me ))
Good morning, thank you for the video, finally I know that it is ultimately possible to drill the rivet holes, I was on the verge of giving up after trying for hours and going through a dozen of 1/8 and 3/16 drill bits. I am having the same issue drilling the roof pillars of my 3rd Gen Tundra to install my Uptop Roof rack. I will be using your method stepping up 5 different sizes of drill bits, my question, did you use cobalt or carbide drill bits? You mentioned you broke one of your drill bits and it was a nightmare to take it out, I can only imagine, was it because of too much downward pressure? All online recommendations to drill through hardened steel is slow speed and extreme downward pressure. Thanks again, your videos have been life savers, all of them!!!
Would this void the warranty if the moonroof start to leak (on its on - not from your work). Just curious if the roof starts to leak if Toyota would say ya you drilled holes so we are not going to cover a leaky roof.

How much clearance from the roof to the bottom of the rail? My sunroof goes up ~2.5 inches. If the clerance is ~3inches then I can call it good haha Thanks!
not sure if this was mentioned, but you didn't seal the rivet holes. yes, you put silicone in the drilled hole, but the rivet itself has a hole straight through it, it would need sealed as well or some type of cap.
So far so good!...I followed their instructions to a tee, and it's been perfect so far...I'll keep the channel updated if I have any issues but I've been through countless downpours and no leaks, thankfully!
Liking the rugged looks, you always adding the right equipment but I do wonder about wind noise please give a update, but wind noise isn't a deal breaker just curious.
Other front wind pieces have been installed with them touching really tight to top of truck (using clear tape to not damage paint) so there's no rattling... do you have any wind noise or such?
Goood day just my opinion if I was you I would have rapped the roof corners so it will combine with the back cover and the rear compartment door, it would have look awesome

I noticed one thing about your Panoramic Sunroof that’s it’s very flush and Mine is little tilted and also have clerking noises in a rear side.
