I can’t express enough how helpful this video would have been for my second gen access cab Tacoma. The directions were horrible. Maybe make a suggestion to watch this vid first for other applicable installs? Maybe a link with the directions that would save you some headaches.
Added the Prinsu on my 2017 Tundra and added two 30lbs each Trek bikes at the very edge of each side for stability and the crossbars bow, twist and creak like mad making a terrible sound. We turned the crossbar closest to wind deflector on its side for strength and its doing better but still bowing and creaking. Did review on Prinsu website but never posted. I assume they don’t want negative reviews. So if 60+ lbs bow the rack to the point it touches your roof what can you put up there? It looks great I give them that but i bought it hoping to put a kayak and both bikes like I did with my Yakama on my previous truck
Hey Joe! We frequently mount bikes on our Rav-4 with no issues. If you would like to speak to a representative, you are always welcome to email us at Info@cbioffroadfab.com. We can take a look at your roof rack and potentially diagnose some of the problems you are experiencing.
Can you tell us what the weight capacity of the rack is? Also, to be clear, this IS for a first gen (2000-2006) Toyota Tundra Access Cab, correct? There was some back and forth in the comments that it was not for the stated truck in the video (also, I see on the website it does show you have a model for the first gen AC).
Sorry Ken, we do not currently produce a roof rack for the 1st generation Tundra. Thank you for letting us know you would be interested in one! We are always taking votes for new products.
I like the part where they dont show it installed on the truck, that was the best
OMG I literally was waiting the whole time to see the finished product!!
🤯😳🤯
I love how the music got louder right when you made the first drill and warned about not drilling too far in. Very important detail.
You didn’t show the full truck with the rack. that’s what I wanted to see 😔
Do you guys make one for the Crew cab I’d buy one
Make a 4 door version!!!
4:52 starts talking *BLASTS MUSIC*
Do you have a version available for the double cab 1st gen tundra? Love the videos!

Finish product??
This looks crazy hard
FREE TIP...have a tissue or a rag over the end of your magnet to make it way easier to clean the metal shavings!
That's a great tip, thanks!
How long does this take to install approximately. How long does it take you to install?
With assembly of the rack you should be able to do it in a couple of hours no problem.

So the weight limit is about 600 LBS static weight and about 300 LBS dynamic weight.
Uh, you forgot something. SHOW THE RACK ON THE DAMN TRUCK🙄
1st Gen Tundra?

Seems that us 1st Gen Tundra owners are getting abandoned.
What silicone did you use?
Good morning, our engineer that creates and installs the racks uses VersaChem Clear Super Silicone. Thank you for reaching out!
@@PrinsuRacks you didn't answer the question. Which one did you use. The one you used is definatly not clear.
@@busbqbill449 We use Versa Chem brand and it is called Super Clear Silicone Gasket Maker. It is in a white and green tube and works great.

We are in Idaho Falls, Idaho. =)
@@PrinsuRacks can you give me a price for tundra? And also do you give military discount? Just curious.
I don’t like those nuts, they’re just not secure enough and the you tighten them all by feelings it’s just not right.
I feel the same..
say good bye to cleaning your roof top
With my roof starting to fade, now I can hide it with a roof top tent. Problem solved...:-)
