Does this work for charge offs as well. I have 4 im working on that show each month it was charged off. My understanding is they can inly report it one time. Also two of mine i already filed taxes as they sent me 1099-c
I’m 25, have 15k in debt collections stemming from credit cards I never paid off and a personal loan, not sure what my credit score is but quite sure it’s bad considering this debt is about to be 2 years old, I was considering filing for bankruptcy but don’t have finances for that and I also don’t want to screw myself getting a car/house in the future what do you suggest I do because it’s very stressful being unsure what steps to take and I’m unemployed as well if that affects the situation in any way
@@JackSimmons503 not saying it’s impossible but living in NYC where the jobs expect you to live off $18 an hour which doesn’t even cover basic living expenses definitely makes it hard to pay off debt especially collections

15k isn’t a huge amount if you can get a job and attack it aggressively
