Putting all the paints over white-primed miniatures as a test is actually really useful, as the colour previews provided by GSW are 3D renders which don't actually represent the actual colours. Some of the previews aren't even close to what the paint looks like in reality after you've applied a single coat, so it is still important to test them all out individually.

@@MediocreHobbies Well, I think it's to show application and how paints work in the contrast "system" if you will, for a lack of better term. Or to show consistency. But... you have 20+ content creators doing the EXACT same thing. Stand out from the rest, show something a bit different, such as you have here. I guess some do whatever so they get free product, I suppose.

Please make a video showing all 12 samples on a textured base or some infantry. The GSW website and youtube channel have terrible examples. Their youtube channel has terrible lighting and their website uses computer graphic examples instead of real representative sample pictures. For instance on your video the black shadow looked gray, while on their video it looked like a yellow brown.
A video like that would really help the community out. While they don't seem to suffer from 'reactivation' or rubbing off, they are not as saturated as contrast or speedpaint. For instance, looking at the dark elwood brown, it would require a few coats to darken it up.
    Thanks!

@@MediocreHobbies I'm not sure why we would have observed differently. My paint had over a week to dry, so I don;t think being wet could be the reason. Possibly the paint itself (Plasmatic Bolt) or the thickness it (or the Strong Tone) was applied?

Here's one of the things, I see a lot of reviews where people were sent the product for review. Anyone else is going to have to wait for it to hit a distributor because for many people, ordering directly from Green Stuff World hits the shipping and handling. The line is on sale when I looked. Added them to my cart and went to check out. The S&H was higher than the total saved costs on all the paints.
So no, not ordering from them. I appreciate that they don't control the costs of s&h but if my FLSG or my online FLSG don't get them, I won't be using them.

@@MediocreHobbies I got the reactivation issues with... un-named paint brand paints, when I went in to "correct" mistakes w/ a basic ivory paint, e.g. using normal Vallejo Ivory (thinned a bit w/ water perhaps) as an "eraser" to touch up some of the spill over from the base paint. They're different medium, I guess, which don't play nice? I've HEARD that if you mix some of the contrast-type medium into the "normal" acrylic paint, this issue doesn't occur, but I can't verify that.

Awesome video the ogroid in the beginning I think turned out really cool, because of the lack of colors like a dark brown the grey helped make it pop I think especially after the wash
These seem really good I agree while the orange wasn't as vibrant after one coat, I think that's a benefit to these rather than a hindrance. Since it didn't seem to reactivate and it has a longer drying time allowing you to smooth out the paint I think it helps get the exact brightness your looking for, maybe just a tint or a nice bright orange.
