Horseflies! My only experience with them was in the early 50’s when I spent part of the summer in Ocean Falls. Mosquitos on the other hand…….i heard a Yukon mossie landed at YXY and the ground crew had it half refuelled before they realized what they were doing.,
WOW 🤗🤩That was one really really nice Halibut, Ranger 🥰loves fishing just as much as you B C Explorers love to fish / crabbing/ prawning And just enjoying life together💕 stay safe 🙏
Hi guys MV Moondance has an after market stabilizer installed on their Nordhavn 3520 which you may have seen. Thought it was something you might find interesting.
Hi. No we don’t have a spear Sometimes we wish we did. But we get a lot of halibut that we have to try to measure as we can only keep one up to 126cm . The ones below 126cm seem to come in okay. It’s those big ones that are hard !
@@MVSKOOKUM1 That was a really big one for sure. Too bad you can't keep any size. We really enjoy your posts! Thanks and smooth waters and may your anchor never drag. Tim and Jill on M/V Dream Weaver.

Its a story he can tell forever more, the one that got away. Lovely family vid. Thank you for sharing.

It's great when family comes to visit 😊
Yes we had some fun! Those flies were horrific though hshsh we made the best of it!
Great video guys. Having your family there was great to watch. That was one big fish. What attracted all those horse flies out across the water?
It was one big halibut! We can only keep 126cm max. Those flies will find you for miles off the beaches. And they are relentless!!
