Nice video. But the sound is appalling. You speak softly with aScottish accent, that's not always easy to understand, then you BLAST us with utterly inappropriate pop music. Either speak louder & clear, or quieten the raucous music.

What a terrific video of a spectacular area! Thanks for showing us. Lovely to see all the green grass. I have only been to Harris one time but the whole area was brown and black. I think a lot of burning had taken place. Lovely to see the green. Your aerial work is wonderful. ❤
I have seen a lot of videos about the amazing beaches of the outer Hebrides, but I can count on one hand the people I've seen in the water on all of them. Is the water too cold? Sharks? What is it?
The water can be chilly but there is a sea swimming community on the island. Check out hsswildswimmap.weebly.com/ for info. I think its just the case that people are too busy swimming instead of filming :)
I've driven it back in 2019, and there were cars coming both ways. This year we are going to Harris/Lewis again and I expect it to be busier still. PHOTO of Hushinish beach is on my kitchen wall. It's my "mental escape to" place ❤
Love it so much and love to visit there even though we have beautiful Snow White sand beaches in Australia , it is lovely to know that Scotland has them too !

the Isle of Barra is known locally as Barrabados :) I think it’s because some of the beaches here are very shallow but I might be wrong !
