All these places are incredible.had the pleasure of enjoying a few nice trips around all the islands, watching videos like this always kinda get me emotional for some reason? Maybe because I've watched my girls play in the sea, build sand castles, njoy bbq, whilst me and mum enjoy some beers and wine?! Some of my best memories ever are on these beaches. Just no words for the magnificence of them, especially on a sunny day
Loved this video, particularly Traigh Mhor and Garry Beach. My father grew up in the village of New Tolsta situated behind Traigh Mhor so I have a particular love for the area. Sheena
Nice scenery, n i hate to perhaps nit pick.....but The tide is in on most of, if not all your shots so you not getting the real scale and beauty......the beaches are alot bigger n more impressive than what you have filmed when the tide is out, which is great for exploring caves along the coast...........also, its not northton beach, that was sgarasta beach........northton is the next village, which is alot smaller but a great little beach I walk my dogs on all these beaches on Lewis & Harris, im lucky enough to live here, best place in the world in my opinion
Great shots, but its two islands, there is no Isle of Lewis and Harris (singular). We would never refer to our islands as such! It has become a thing recently to refer to them as such, I think due to it being a snappy hashtag, but we Harris and Lewis folk are proud of our individual heritage, dialect and geography. Cheers.
Lewis and Harris is one land mass not two distinct islands. It is a bit like saying Harris tweed when the fact is the Tweed is made in Harris and Lewis. Let us be kind to each otherLewis and Harris are twins.
Physically yes, but culturally two distinct entities. I love both, and love that other folk do too. Its the grammer of using Isle that is the issue. You wouldn’t say the Isle of Scotland and England, you would just say Scotland and England, or UK. Always kind, its this sort of healthy debate that shows folk care enough about their home to type replies in the wee small hours.

True. Unfortunately due to family commitments I cab only shoot at very limited times. Darn family’s :)

Thanks but I’m from Lewis and when i was growing up i often said Lewis and Harris to mainland folk :)
Aye, I would say Harris and Lewis too. But I’ve never heard a Hearach say “Isle” of Harris and Lewis. Its Isles or nothing down here in Harris🙂

Very professionally done 👏👏
Is this in Britain? The music is in tune with the waves.
Yes - it’s the islands in the north west of Scotland
Well done in finding one of the few days in the year when
the Sun was shining ? Luck or good judgement ?
