A short video of a photographers trip to the Islands of Lewis & Harris in the Scottish Outer Hebrides. Music by Curmudgeon folk band, some of live recordings from Edinburgh Fringe.
Nicely photographed and edited, and accompanying music was just lovely. I want to stand on Scarista Beach and cast a line for my breakfast. Thanks for the fantasy.
Hello, cool video, very beautiful places , thanks for the interesting tour, friendly like, come visit, I will be very happy to see you, good luck and all the best, have a nice weekend😍😍😉😉😊😊
Thank you very much for a wonderful posting. Beautiful scenery and the fiddling is beautiful too. Did you have a hand in that ? ❤. I love Lewis and Harris ; I long harboured a dream to move but, alas, it wasn't meant to be. Always in my heart ♥
A good insight into somewhere that I'm booked up for in 2025 -'Luskentyre always shines out, but there's obviously plenty of other heavenly places up there too!
Now we know why the English politicians want to keep Scotland as part of the disunited Kingdom ! If ever there were money shots , those were they ,right there ... Mesmerising !
Stunning 😍
I have no idea of lineage...but my mother married a Lewis and her sister married a Harris. I'm always amused when I see these names together.

Many thanks, the fiddle player is Donald Gorman, a member of my band ‘Curmudgeon’. Guitar playing is me.
Absolutely beautiful. Photography is brilliant

Is Luskentyre beach usually this empty?
@@Maximilan20 yes!
@@lawrencebrett8993 that's pretty amazing. You get uninterrupted time to do whatever you want to do
@@Maximilan20 not many folk travel to the Isle of Harris, and Luskentyre beach is big so yes, plenty of space.
a pity you spoil the video by typical noise, you call music.........
Why so nasty? Use your mute button if the music offends.
