Honestly brother, from how I've seen people react, you're better off not acknowledging the re-upload. People are just going to assume you got "caught" and are doing damage control... I wish I was kidding, but people are freaks.
Honestly it might just be only having the monster collector aesthetic and giving nothing to people who might prefer a different type of visuals but the game really seems way more like "Pokemon except with Yugioh combat" than it does "Yugioh but with a mana system."
Konami is gaslighting us into believing rush duel doesnt exist, the existant rush duel fans have asked for literal ages and the best we got is quite litteraly duel links
Here's how to fix yugioh: 1. Both players draws their entire Deck turn 1. 2. Win can only be achieved by reducing opponent's LP to 0. Deckout and special victory do not apply. Experience true back and forth duel! No more solitaire, No more bricking! FAQ: Q: What if I'm FTKd? A: You can just run Hanewata or other handtraps to prevent this in the first place. Q: Wouldn't the opponent use Called by on your Hand Trap more easily? A: Well you can always Belle, Herald Green, Psy-Frame, etc. Q: Would certain hand information card like Aqua Dolphin very busted? A: Might be, but since you have your entire deck in your Hand, you can try to stop it. Q: Wouldn't Red Reboot, or similar cards that prevents your opponent from activating cards entirely be busted? A: Yes, an additional banlist would be required.
honestly the artstyle is the only thing putting me off from trying the game. its just not what i vibe with pls just give us rush duels man that game looks SO GOOD
fixing yugioh just means INTRODUCING THE YUGIOH RUSH DUELS. it’s so much better and I will never get to play it here… full arts? levels that don’t make you manually count them at first… costs and effects properly lined out?
@@KeyYGO You know what, if anything I am glad me being a bitch may have lead to you protecting yourself. I appreciate you actually disclosing that you did get support from Elestrals even if they didn't say "here's a box, make a video being nice to us". Still feels like I just watched an ad tho.
I actually was thinking of making a yugioh like cardgame that has a resource system, where you can chose to either trade up your life or cards from your deck as (secondary resources) which can then be traded to gain (primary resources). Max 10 primary resources per turn, used to play cards and most abilities. You then have to build up your board that can generate other secondary resources, so you don't have to thin your deck or life anymore. Then use the existing monsters as tribute for boss monsters. Only boss monsters can attack the opposing player, unless they also have a boss monster or structure (used to store secondary resources). Damn Elestrals beat me to it.
As much as i hate on YGO the past 3 years it's still my favorite game and the art on elestrals is kind of doodoo-water tbh. Branded lore alone trashes most other tcg in terms of artwork, with some exceptions like cardgames based on anime(Digimon/One Piece) and some mtg cards(vorinclex is my bae). Tcg that rely on waifus only need not apply that sh*t's cringe af. At least in terms of artwork variety Yugioh is perfectly balanced, if only the same could be said about the gameplay.
@@neonoah3353 just goes to show you how great the art design of YGO is if you consider something as awesome as branded doodoo-water. It's only uphill from there😁
Exactly wheres the badass TCG that Yu-Gi-Oh used to be!!! horrendous beasts and Eldridge horrors... Now everything is waifus(not that i mind as much🤓) and or this cutesy art style with bright pastel color palette ... Like who really wants to summon a knock off Pikachu
Yeah I tried giving it a go but I don’t think anyone else knows how to download it on iOS The tutorial is also bad so much so it makes master duel look competent The AI needs added soon I tried playing that but the mode looked like dueling book and whike it would be good with experience it would help if I knew what that did
one important thing if i would play this game: where i can find a free automatized simulator of this tcg? because even if it should be better than yu gi oh, it's still a competitive game and for me the best way to learn and play a competitive tcg is with an automatized simulator, maybe on computer
I'm super dubious of the idea that Elestrals is meant to fix Yugioh. The only things it has in common are the face down trap card runes and the fact units exist in either attack or defense mode. Meanwhile the game is made by an ex pokemon player, it's got pokemon adjacent art, spirits are most similar to energy, the elestrals evolve like pokemon, the player damage being different from unit damage is most similar to prize cards, the game is just clearly pokemon more than it could possibly be yugioh.
If Konami were to ever reboot YGO, I think the designers should try an action system like Android Netrunner or maybe even Digimon's shared resource mechanic.
Fun fact: Maxx C does not stop insane turn 1 boards it just gives insane turn 1 boards an extra floodgate on top of it when they Maxx C you as soon as your turn starts and they did all their turn 1 bs.
The only way you could ever believe this argument is if you haven't played in a meta with Maxx C for more than 2-3 hours. So have you just never played Master Duel?
EDIT: I Reuploaded the video with a short addendum at the end! Sorry for the double upload.

Too bad this game completely lacks the cool and iconic monster designs of Kazuki Takahashi that made Yugioh popular in the first place.
People pretending Rush Duel doesn't exist

Sadly it basically doesnt if it remains JP exclusive. I want it over here so bad...
Yeah, how are we gonna play it here in the west sir?
Rush duels? you are mistaken comrade, such a thing does not exist, please join us in 45 minute snake-eye mirrors.
Hard to get past that Chinese Pokemon ripoff art style.

Infernity crying in the corner 💀
Nah. How you fix Yugioh is Hard OPT everything, and limited special summoning. I like 5 specials per turn.
Also, Rush Duels already exist lol
We don't need this half-assed pokemon TCG clone pretending to be ygo
That's great and all but lets see what happened if it had 20+ years of powercreep, if it even last that long.

Oh my god I was KIDDING with my comment about being paid to make this video! I was being snarky!
My fear of the FTC greatly outweighs your silly jest

Maybe when there's an actual unique artstyle going on
I don't want to feel like im playing a palworld tcg

Eh, its a matter of opinion, imo, the branded archetype has the most "doodoo-water" design out of all the yugioh archetypes.

4:00 For now at least. Let’s come back in 20 years and see if the card texts are still that short.
Finally a tcg with colored permanent resources rather than a mana system. Really missed that when they shut down mabinogi duel
The tutorials on mtg arena only take like 30 minutes to get through, cmon keyYGO I believe in you

I would love Elestrals to follow down Yu-Gi-Oh path down to a T.
Same terrfying cards and brokeness.
I want that maxx C clone to be real one day
its got a good foundation learning from previous TCGS but they need to build up their ip/art and it needs a good online simulator
"ygo with a resource system" stopped watching there lol
What makes ygo unique is the LACK of one
I’m gonna miss speed duel
Ban all hand traps. 7 years of Hand Trap meta they are overly common done to death stables.
If I can play Yu-Gi-Oh well I am sure I can learn this game in five minutes like how I did with Magic the gathering or the Pokemon tcg
i think one piece tcg is doing a great job building a cohesive and fun tcg
I don’t like their art style.
just back to goat format

Yeah
Invoke runes are just spell cards (yugioh!)
Honestly it seems interesting but I still think yugioh is much better
I say remove the starting hand
If Konami were to ever reboot YGO, I think the designers should try an action system like Android Netrunner or maybe even Digimon's shared resource mechanic.
I prefer bootleg Pokemon art style over generic fantasy DnD art style any day, so I'm actually gonna download it and give it a shot.
It's a physical game
Maxx C needs to be legal. It would stop those insane boards from being set up turn one. If you want to let your opponent draw cards that’s on you.
