This has been extremely helpful... I recently got this a few weeks ago and I managed to win my moto3 class no problems but even towards the end of that I started reaching my limits in how I'm using my controller... And after the first FP1 in moto2 I said nah I need tips or else this is gonna be hell

I play on Switch and because the Switch doesn’t have analog triggers, I map the right analog stick to the gas and break and it really changed the way I play. Also can do this on TTIOM2 and Grid on Switch, just FYI for any other portable gamers out there!
Also, Matt this video was great. ‘21 is my first Moto game, and I haven’t tried the clock-rotating for steering and getting smooth corners is my biggest issue right now. Definitely a big help to see your hands as you ride!

I have the switch as well so I got an adapter to use Xbox controller with actual triggers. I still don't feel any pressure sensitive brakes or gas.
This game is infuriating. I thought GP 18 was bad with all the braking. GP 24 should just be braking around the entire track no gas. I miss Moto GP2 and 3. Back when it was playable.
Someone send me a set up so I see how bad it sucks. I keep trying set ups and nothing works.
The lack of tutorials in the game is so frustrating
I play the wrong way for too long when I brake I dont push analog down i only use right or left thanks sir this is helping me a lot

Hey Man, can you explain your breaking. How you use the front vs rear brake? I just got the game I’m so so bad. I’ve never played a motorcycle racing gamw. Gonna try later with the tips from this videob
I always focus on the front brake but will apply the rear brake on the harder braking zones. Be gentle on the brakes. You don’t need to smash it to 100% just gradually apply the brake to maybe 75%-85%
Thx mate, one more question, what tyres do you have to equip for the fastest speed?
That’s up to you, soft option gives you the best grip but burns quickly. Medium is a good balance and Hard is meant to last. Depending on the conditions each tyre could be the best. Try them out 👍🏻

Hi, great video and big help. I got a lot better , but with I noticed as soon as I turn the lean foward button my lap times got better and I drive a lot better. So question, do I need to be able to lean towards or it's not a big deal?!
As long as you lean the rider backwards for the brakes you should be good, if I understand you correctly

@@Werferharfer it helps to keep the front wheel down and avoiding wheelieing. Try both and see what you prefer 👍🏻👍🏻
just seen this video, its really helpful. However, trying it out in my game play im having mental stack, where i find my self either pushing really hard on the breaks or forgets to downshift the gear.
does it take some time for a person to adopt this skill? or am just a noob :P?
Yeah it takes time, don’t worry about making mistakes. I still make errors after thousands of hours 👍🏻
Looking forward to tips on starting. For some reason I always loose 5 places no matter fast good I react. Frustrating. I lean forward, hold full gas, weaves to anti-wheelie. What else is there that I’m missing?
Throttle control buddy, full gas spins up the rear! I'll make a guide over the weekend for you mate :D
Turn down singleshock absorber compression to lowest if you are wheelieing. 1st gear also - turn down to 1 or 2 so it accelerates less but its longer, and if your final ratio is too high, bike is more explosive so it can make troubles too with wheelie.. find the balance

I tried that U turning for a while in Euro Truck Sim but in GTA it triggers wheelie and stoppie and I suppose even in MotoGP it must be triggering those movements.
I’m not sure what you mean by U turning mate?
@@DrAce46 I think what he meant was the way you move your analog stick, because if you use that kind of movement in GTA when you pull back the analog stick while accelerating, the bike will get into wheelie, and if you push the analog stick while braking, the bike will get into stoppie
I tend to find the PlayStation analogue sticks to be a bit too slippery when it comes to my fingers and I'm always rubbing them down with rubbing alcohol and has anyone tried to connect a flight simulator joystick to control the bike

how to play analog smoothly?
Did you change the calibration or just using the default setting?

So when I am cornering I push back on the analog stick and release the throttle?
During the corner you need to push the analogue stick aiming towards after the apex. You can hold the throttle during the corner too.
On braking push the analogue stick back and don’t touch the throttle
i keep going wide in just about every possible corner .... it's to the point the game is unplayable or I can come to a complete stop and barely ease around the corner only to get wiped out by those behind me
If you’re going too wide in the corners you’re braking too late. Try to brake earlier with a wide entry 👍🏻
Bro I drive moto3 and moto2 with TC2 ANT2 EB 4 MAP3 and everything was cool but wheb I get in KING class totall diffrent story,I cant pass F corner

Thanks mate, I don’t tend to run any electronics on for the lower classes, slows you down too much. Just try to be smooth with the bigger bikes 👍🏻

The worste thing is that I am 36 years old driving motorcycles from age of 7 last 20 years driving sportbikes only but I crash 4 months ago REALLY BAD so I am at home playing PS 24/7 😪

I only use default setup, it’s just all about being gentle with the throttle input
@DrAce46 I'm using Xbox controller on Nintendo switch. As soon as tap the trigger a little bit the bike is loose same as if I floor it.
My moto3 is turn over so slow. How can i fix that? With calibration?
In what way is it slow? Are you turning in too late perhaps?

Lol what do you mean you cant change? You can change direction faster if the center of gravity is higher, plus set your steering head inclination and trail to lowest
They made it realistic but it’s difficult to control on a controller
Go slow first for a handful of laps. That way you will learn the track and the bike control as well. Then apply the bike control and braking tips available on youtube. Worked for me. I always start slow even when I know the track since MotoGP 19 but each MotoGP games requires different bike control skill. Because they are constantly trying to improving the game. So go easy first and master the control then everything will be natural.
Glad I only payed $10 for it on ps store… so touchy can’t even turn can’t feel brakes soon as you hit grass or someone you come off instant trash as

Btw do you know the fix for ps4 controller when i playing games lets say Hitman 3, there is a guide saying press "X" to jump, and then i press X and it switches to "Space" from jump and its constantly switching from Controller options to keyboard options. But my controller works fine, but it's switching controller with keyboard non stop when i touch my controller

I don’t know, I just connect the controller wireless on PC and it recognises it 🤷🏻♂️
Hi! Try relearning to hold your controller so that you use your middle fingers for L&R2 and the index fingers for the L&R1 buttons for shifting. It will take a bit to get used to, but is very rewarding once you got it mastered. (The dual shocks were actually designed to be held/used like that.)

And i listen to you i try to not get off my finger from the L3 while doing the turns but i think i made something wrong i try with the front and in the cruve i spam the rear brake take down one gear and after that full gas i saw your 22 gp video with the other cam and its much easier to understand because i see how much and when you touch the buttons so my last question is its there any difference if i watch the moto gp22 game video or its a whole different gane

This game is ridiculous. You need a bike engineering degree to figure this out. Every set I've tried absolutely sucks.
