    Honestly, I just want to thank you for this video. I was really REALLY struggling (Moto2) for any sort of consistency and this guide really helped me get back into this game; I actually walked away from it for quite a while (Portimao). I'm actually able to control my stoppies, and the rear end isn't shooting out from under me, when exiting corners. I never would have though to adjust the calibration of my brake and acceleration inputs. Thank you for taking the time to experiment with this and make this video.
    When I eventually got into MotoGP (Aprilia) I used your "5 setups" guide to configure the bike. Took a bit to get used to the setting; I had to adjust my riding style to more of a 'V' in corners. Totally worth it though. I'm actually back to loving the game. Thanks again. Much appreciated.

    Thank you for this video - I've never been able to get Moto GP 21 feeling like a real bike (as much as you can), but with your info I made some tweaks - now SBK22 feels great:
    Steering - 95% linearity 120% saturation
    Front brake - 90% linearity 120% saturation
    I may go higher in front brake saturation, as bikes stop a lot faster IRL, and a WSBK machine will have some of the best brakes available, so I want to feel like they're biting like a set of M50 Brembos!

    Thanks, applied the 25-30% filter on the front brake in MotoGP 22. Has helped massively with lifting the rear. I could brake smoothly myself, but sometimes in the heat of the moment, you can get carried away.
    Sometimes I'd even swear I pulled it smoothly and the rear would still lift.
    So now it has enabled me to concentrate less on keeping the rear down, so that I can concentrate more on trail braking and corner entry.

    Thank you for explaining. Really helped on the setup to eliminate the stoppie braking issue. Now I can control the Motogp 21 bikes. Thkq kindly. As I've been playing Ride 4 and no problem with stoppie braking.

    D!!!! I Had to come back today and thank you again for posting these videos (...and Im sorry for all the long messages lately 😖😉). I FINALLY got the calibration damn near perfect (...I think the controls are now even better than MotoGP17 that I was use to). It took some time, but I'm now very much in love with MotoGP21 and I'm glad I didn't hang it up and go back to MotoGP17 (...I didn't hang it because of your help 😁).
    I basically set all of the calibrations to your settings except for the steering. You use "0, 100%, 100%, 0, 0, (going down the line of the steering settings) and I went with "0, 120%, 140%, 0, 0. I know it may seem strange to have those settings but I have a "heavy finger" and I needed the 120% and 140% to compensate for the aggressiveness (I was always in the grass or kitty litter when I had it set on 100%, 100%. The setting work perfect and I'm finally kicking the A.I.'s ass on some of the tracks 🥰.
    I can't thank you enough for your help brother. This game is badass now and I'm going to enjoy it for a long time. Thank again my friend and be well.

    I played MotoGp17 on Xbox ONE for the last 2-3 years and I just bought MotoGP21 a couple weeks ago. There is a big difference on the the feel of control with MotoGp21 from MotoGp17 (I actually didn't like 21' for the first week, and I was about hang it up and going back to playing 17'). MotoGp 21' is harder to play in my opinion, but after watching this video and adjusting calibration, I'm starting to enjoy 21'. I haven't got the calibration perfect yet, but its definitely getting closer to what I was use to with playing 17' for all those years. Ill try your setting to help control stoppies and help from losing the rear on exiting corners.
    21' takes some time to get it set up where you can actually enjoy the game. I guess its better in a way because its closer to how a real motorcycle reacts. I'll check out your other videos on how to control the bike more on MotoGp 21. Thanks again for the help and be well.

    This calibration is stressing me out guys 🤣😂🤣. I have to put the game down and come back to it after I start getting frustrated. I get frustrated because I seem to go in the right direction with calibration, but then when I'm trying to tweak it to perfection, I start going in the wrong direction. I dont even wanna think about "engineer changes" during the racing (more stuff to blow your mind 🤯😵). Changing only 1 thing at a time corrects this problem of me going in the wrong direction, but it still can be frustrating as hell.
    I haven't tried/seen MotoGP22 yet, but I wonder if its any better with how we can control the motorcycle. .....this calibration adjustment is kicking my buttocks 😖😤.

    I have to try the steering setup. I know it's a game and nothing like actually but the steering is soooooooo slow it's crazy. I've played for about a week and the steering reaction is so bad that I'm pretty much done with the game so I hope this helps.

    How do you know what gear to take a corner or what gear to be in during a part of a race/lap?

    • @Dyl469
      @Dyl469  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It's hard to give an exact answer,over years of playing you understand what gears you need,it's something that I don't even think about now when playing,it's just drilled in that I do it automatically but it takes along time able to do that
      Mainly its due to speed, listen to the bike and keep an eye to the rev counter

  • @tjc89
    @tjc89 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    Would you reccomend calibration and manual gears for an absolute beginner?

    • @Dyl469
      @Dyl469  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      No,for a complete beginner I would recommend all the assists on, it will take a long time to get near the skill to use manual gears,the calibration will only confused you now so just leave it the way it is

    • @viarnay
      @viarnay 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      yesss... and evetything on manual. It is not easy but the effort pays.

    Question for you. My game always displays the words. Physx cpu on the screen. I can't get rid of it. I wish this game had VR support. Also I happen have an old yamaha ms1 controller with a USB converter. I wonder if would work.

    • @Dyl469
      @Dyl469  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I've never had such issue with words ok screen,it's probably being caused by another program on your PC,does it happen on other games?
      Also I'm not sure the controller would work but it is definitely worth a shot

    What would you advise mate for an absolute idiot/complete and utter beginner to help them not fall off the bike, corner properly and ride smoothly in terms of just finishing a lap and amending the settings for your bike and controller?
    Also is there something I can read that is an overview to explaining all the technical sides of bikes/engines/gearing etc so I know and understand the technical side of bikes?
    I will probably buy F1 soon but that looks harder so going to conquer Moto GP first.
    Do you play much Forza Motorsport or Forza Horizon btw?

    • @Dyl469
      @Dyl469  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Just starting out,I would just play the game and use Moto3 bikes, slower and easier to control, you'll bulid understanding of the game and confidence this way
      I don't know of anywhere you can learn the technical side of the sport, Google will come on handy for that and watching the sport in real life
      And I played all the horizon's and a few motorsports, really look forward to FH5 in Mexico 🇲🇽
