I don't really understand what you did with the second tip, could have used more explanation. But the hi-hat trick was really cool, didn't know you could trill soundclips using the bpm.
mopslopanbucket I kind of explained it weird but essentially if you have a sample that starts on the 1st kick or down beat on bar 1, when you put it into the “drum” slot it chops it up in 16 equal parts but in order for them to be on beat you have to space out each chop starting with chop 1 on pad 1 Chop 2 on pad 3 Chop 3 on pad 5 Chop 4 on pad 7 Chop 5 on pad 9 Chop 6 on pad 11 Ect.
Just record your sample into the melody pads then edit it so that the sample start right on the first beat. Then from there copy that pad to the “drum” section and it automatically chops the sample up into the 16 pads. So if the sample starts on the first bar or kick it should loop properly.
Will "drum" samples always be held out until then end of the sample or until the next trigger that is placed within the pattern? ---- Can you tie the steps in the pattern to a specific next step? For example: sample one -- from step 1 to step 5 sample two -- from step 9 to 11 sample one -- from step 13 to 15 or is this more of a melodic pattern? an easier example: say you have a long kick sample... If it is triggered on step 1 then on step 9 then on step 13..... Are all kicks played to the same length? or Can step 1 be 6beats length Can step 9 be 1beats length Can step 13 be 3beats length
No idea what youre trying to explain in the second half of this video. It seems cool. Could you maybe write down the objective and explain in writing why youre moving sounds around
First time I've seen the key retrigger tip. Absolutely huge. Cheers mate!
I remember seeing this vid sooo long ago. I needed these tricks back in my life
Dude, thank you! I never knew and this will open up for more variety in my patterns 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
Had no idea this existed, this is great, thanks!
Yeah I def need this thing for long plane rides.
Thanks for sharing this!!!

thanks bro! this was super helpful!!
Ah! Finally I worded it right to find the retriger function! Thank you sir!
You legend, this is unreal!!
Any chance you can further explain the last tip? I feel like im overthinking it

@@seanpizza Thanks! I get it now. Will definitely give it a go.
Ohhhhh!
@@seanpizza Oh now I get it.
Why is this comment not higher up? Upvote people!
Nice tips didn’t see these anywhere in any manual or video thanks
Cause its not retrigering it is multiplier function
Nice tip on the 2nd half
You leveled so many ko user up with this.
Cool tricks, much obliged.
Dude's a genius.
Agreed.
What about pre made drum pattern out of fl recorded boom pap without using up the slots of 2 different ones
Thanks for sharing bro!!!!!
Thanks very kool.
you rock for this
Nice that roll was cool
Any to hot wire a cpu or a something without it exploding
You are a genius.
How did you get your sample chopped so perfectly before you spaced them out into two patterns
Basically what I’m saying is I understand the process of spacing out the chops but I don’t understand how you got the chops into the 1-8 melodie pads
Just record your sample into the melody pads then edit it so that the sample start right on the first beat. Then from there copy that pad to the “drum” section and it automatically chops the sample up into the 16 pads. So if the sample starts on the first bar or kick it should loop properly.

----
Can you tie the steps in the pattern to a specific next step?
For example:
sample one --
from step 1 to step 5
sample two --
from step 9 to 11
sample one --
from step 13 to 15
or is this more of a melodic pattern?
an easier example:
say you have a long kick sample...
If it is triggered
on step 1 then
on step 9 then
on step 13.....
Are all kicks played to the same length? or
Can step 1 be 6beats length
Can step 9 be 1beats length
Can step 13 be 3beats length
lol you explanation is HORRIBLE!!!
Looks like a beat poem😋
After about 15 comments and one sleepless night and a morning into this I feel ready to start jamming with this.
Hiw to do an auto chop
