    Thank you ,this will come in handy when mine comes this November.

      Hey Michael-Thanks for the comment! I know it can be a bit boring to read through the settings menu in the manual. My hope was people would use their phones when they are out riding, bring up TH-cam, go through each of the settings they are interested in, and tweak each setting to their liking in real time. Visuals really enhance the experience.

    I had both hips replaced a year ago but had to go for 4 years due to insurance BS they wouldn’t let anything happen till I turned 50 unfortunately that happened during Covid couldn’t walk and packed on a lot of weight in fact I push the weight limit on the bike BUT here in west central PA I can go up the hills here using the pedal assist I toggle through up on hills but usually keep it in 1 , I’ve put 28 miles on in the two weeks since I’ve gotten it I absolutely love it . I know long story but this bike is amazing and I wanted anyone on the fence to know it will haul you no problem

      Hey Harold-I think a lot of people can relate to your circumstances (me included). I had one hip replaced and the other will need replacing within the next year. Maybe others will share their similar experiences with us? I try to ride every night for the exercise and to lose weight. Still too hot here in the Phoenix area to ride in the daytime. It was 106 when I filmed this video 2 days ago.

    Hello EnergizedZonie. I thought you would want to know that the Normal and Flicker doesn't do anything with the headlight. It only effects the rear tail light. If you have it set to Flicker then you can press your power button (once your bike is on) once to turn on the headlight and tail light and press it again to to turn on flicker mode for the tail light only. You will see the light icon blink on the display. Press power again to turn off the lights. Let me know once you try it. Great video!

      @EnergizedZonie  19 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      Thanks for the heads up on the flicker setting Jody! I tried it and you are right, only the tail light flickers (if selected). I am going to leave mine set to flicker going forward. I have a similar flicker setup on my motorcycle when using the brakes. Really helps draw attention to vehicles behind.

    I am definitely going to end up with someone on the back of the rack. Any ideas for increasing the weight capacity? Thanks
    edit: spelling

    • @EnergizedZonie
      @EnergizedZonie  5 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Thanks for the comment @Simon-cw3ll. Not that I am aware of. It would have been nice to have the rear rack welded to the frame instead of bolted on. Since the rear battery is integrated into the rack, modifications may be difficult. Maybe someone else out there could leave a comment if they know a way to increase the weight capacity.

    • @Simon-cw3ll
      @Simon-cw3ll 4 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Thanks! Yeah that is another concern since the battery is attached to the rack having additional support would add peace of mind. Wouldn't want the rack with the battery to break or fall off. It's just 4 screws holding it on now.

    Which video was it that you showed a close up of the chain ring and crank? I forgot to make note of the position of the ring and crank arm and now I think that I might've put it back the wrong way.

      @@EnergizedZonie I guess some spacers are needed to make this chain guard work but typically you'd have to buy a 56T Chainring with double sided guards. The kid at the bicycle shop seems to think that we can make it work but another guy that was there doesn't seem to think that there's enough room for it so I guess we'll have to wait and see. The second guy seems to think that we're going to have to flip the chain ring over so that the guard that's on the chain ring is facing the inside and the new guard that I'm adding will be on the outside.

    I feal that these e-bike are best when using the P.A.S. mode to help the battery and the hub gears last longer in range, wear and tear on the planetary gears. Is not meant to be driving like a motorcycle when using throttle only on takeoff.

    • @EnergizedZonie
      @EnergizedZonie  19 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      Hey David-Thanks for the comment. The ride is smoother and the batteries will last longer when using pedal assist. Wired uses the hybrid steel/nylon gears in their high powered motors. They say the hybrid gears are 5 times stronger than the industry standard nylon gears. It’s just easier on my crappy knees to use throttle on takeoff. Your motor will likely last longer than mine for that reason.

    • @davidvasquez3564
      @davidvasquez3564 19 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @EnergizedZonie Thank you for responding. Sorry about your knee issues. I, too, have those issues. But what said goes for some that want to treat these bikes as if they where motorcycle and thus shortening the life of the bike in general.

      I'm happy to say the bike did come with the Hellbender 70 Visco headset. The top cap shows "VR", so that through me off..

      @luigiprovencher 19 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @@EnergizedZonie So how do you know that it has the hell bender headset then? Mine doesn't say hell bender on it and it has a piece of plastic on it that looks like it was ruined during the assembly process. Like they over torqued it and squashed it.
