    Dude I just wanted to say thank you so much for your videos I run my 3d printers off of an Old Dell optiplex because of you, and I'm thinking about making this Delta as well LOL

    Very detail explanation. Thanks a lot for the video and the printer design. Alternative to T-nut I would think to use thinner M5 nut. I believed it could further bring the build price down and do the same job - to tighten between printed parts and aluminium members. I noted your bigger Delta is using aluminium corner connector. How is it compare with the printed part in term of easiness to achieve frame stability and verticality ?

      Yes you could use the thinner M5 nut I have some of those as well. My large delta has aluminum corners from here spool3d.ca/aluminum-2020-delta-corners/ they are expensive in my opinion and not great quality the drilled holes have burs and it can be hard to get bolts through. Build wise and stability there are about the same. You can tighten the bolts down better with the aluminum corners but on a delta there is very little vibration and the bolts do not need to be very tight.

    On the Large Delta printer I wanted to make sure of the filament used. PetG for all parts and corners instead of aluminum. Or did you use some Pla?

    • @Rolohaun
      @Rolohaun  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I just use PLA, PETG would be ok too

      @@Rolohaun What percentage infill did you design the corners to be printed with? Thank you in advance.

      @@frederickbawden9470 I usually go with 3 wall 15 percent, you can go 4 wall 20 percent if you want insane strength

    How do you know what length of the rails has to be? Is there like a pro calculation? :D

    • @Rolohaun
      @Rolohaun  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      usually 100mm less that the vertical extrusion

    Hi there, Could you please explain the calculations for the sizes? What is the size of the rail should I take? what are the sizes of the belts and etc...?

    • @Rolohaun
      @Rolohaun  11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      all I do is subtract 100mm from the vertical 2020 to get my rail length, and for belts I always order 6M so I have extra

    I'd love a link or a name to those aluminimum corners, those you can 3d print. Its hard to find stuff on aliexpress :)

    Is there a file for 3d printed ABC corner frame parts? I have never built a printer before and I have been thinking about building a Delta-style printer some time in the future. I was just checking out all the different parts I would need to build it. I checked the github and I didn't see anything. If you could help me out that would be great. Thank you!
