I hope you save and washed these out. Even if you never use them again they will last a lifetime for back-ups. I will say. I love your maintenance videos. I don't really see anything like this on the interwebs. Keep it up and thank you. I have just bought a 1300L and having overhauled in UK. You are teaching me a lot.

Wow, thanks for the kind words. Congratulations on getting a Mog. I do still have the filters - I will keep them as a spare.

Gday Guntar, I just changed mine today in Australia and mine are exactly the same, the ones that came out were a cloth material as opposed to a tissue filter that i changed to. You suggest keeping the originals… ok, do you know how I can clean them so they last a lifetime? Also how often would you change these fuel filters? Cheers mate

I would totally have forgotten those new rubber seals too 🤣. I was surprised by the amount of grit in the glass bowl. Just wait until you get down to Central America!!!

How cool that you can say that from experience!

Thanks Chad, exactly what I needed, as always. Can't believe you denied us the satisfaction of a start-up video though! 🤣

You can be sure that the filters would be changed at the german Feuerwehr!😊

So I have a 1996 1350L coming from Europe. Not here yet but I am wondering why you changed to a new hand priming pump from the old one. Also where did you obtain the English manual? Thanks. I assume it started easily after the filter change.

Congrats! I actually can't remember why, but it was recommended by others. That small manual came with the truck but I got my big ones from Expedition Imports. They could probably get you the small one as well. And yes, it did start with no issue - sorry, forgot to film that.
