U have just explained all the symptoms of what my car is doing. It just tapped 100,000 so its right on time. Its having problems starting, Oh dear😮, i hope, it starts in the A.M. so i can get it to the garage. Damn😮, i knew i should've taken mechanics in High School. Thank you so much for your help. God Bless, & stay safe. 🚗
I had problems lately with my diesel car with 320,000km on it when it came to acceleration, turned out of be the fuel filter and also a filthy air filter.
Damb I just did a full tune up and it still barley runs , bet its fuel ..doin a filter thanks for the vid NO it's the timing chain jumped one tooth bummer
Is it possible that a bad fuel filter can cause the inlet of a fuel sending unit to vibrate and whine loudly? I just replaced the fuel pump and fuel sending unit for this reason. 2005 Mercedes-benz c240
Been driving my Honda odyssey on light cylinder 5 misfire for about 20k miles because of a lack of affordability to fix it. Just saved the money to replace the spark plug and ignition coil that corrected the misfire, However about 5k miles later I’m experiencing rough idling after cold starts and when I leave it for 2 minutes and cut it back on with a warm engine, The engine struggles to turn over, the rpm struggles, and the engine makes a noise I can’t explain without showing a video.
My 1939 Ford was getting no fuel. While I was bleeding the brakes I put a vacuum pump to the fuel line at the fuel pump and it couldn't draw any fuel. Is this a sign of blocked fuel line?
There are different methods, basically draining and flushing the tank and the rust. In my experience, it usually comes back in a few months and causes problems. If I find rust is an issue, I replace the tank, but many people clean it.
Hi I have a Honda odyssey 2012 does it have the filter in the tank or inline I look it up on rock auto and it doesn’t have one hope you can help me out
I have a 2004 Toyota Sequoia that since I've had it seems to not have good power going uphill. It will on some hills drop to 20mph and slowly truck up the hill. Other than that it seems to run fine. Today it started stuttering going up hill and I noticed the idle is rough when running the AC. Sound like it's going to die when the compressor kicks in. Does this sound like a fuel filter to you? Also I've put 50k miles on it and haven't replaced the filter.
@karosirrup1014 mine is doing the same thing, but even on flat ground its very slow i havent been able to get past 60mph, and it takes forever to even get up to that speed. I ordered a fuel filter and its coming tomorrow morning. Will update if it solves my issue, if not just remind me.

It wasn't accelerating when in drive gear?

does in tank fuel filters need to be replaced like routine maintenance?
Should it be replaced at the same time as the fuel pump ?
Always. And you should be doing it about every 3 years. “ the filter”. Most owner manuals say around 30k miles.
What happens if you remove the fuel mitten / fuel filter off of gas tank filter - and just rely on the external fuel filter?
Can this cause a sputter on acceleration .once you get up to speed it levels out. Also hills can be a problem
This is happening to me did you find anything out?
I have the same
issue on my 13 Avalanche
Same
Ever have one frozen? ( Non-diesel engine )

Old fuel lines, gas tanks, and filters, can get clogged up with age. I would check the whole fuel system.
Could this also me why when I drive uphill I start to lose speed?
that could be the pump itself or the filter or the fuel regulator or even the injectors
Or clogged catalytic converter
Clogged catalytic converter was my problem as well
did u ever get it fixed ?
Where is the pcv valve located on Nissan N.V. 2500
So how can you flush the gas tank out from rust

This was very helpful
