Ohhhhh... I see how that might look.... but no, nothing awful happened and my apologies if we worried you and others. We were week to week with videos, struggling to get footage when we were waiting weeks for weather, then we sailed but knew we had Christmas back at home which we told everyone about and honestly just wanted a break and to spend time with people we haven't seen for 3 years. When I go on hols, I reeeeeally check out! Sorry again...

I really wanted to see Adam have his own squirrel moments in the Smithsonian. I can only imagine how many times he jumped from one exhibit to the next without seeing the first in it's entirety. Glad to have you two back on YT and on the water.
Great episode...especially your comments on traveling perspectives. My wife and I just returned from a 10 day trip in UK, where we ran around like headless chickens ticking boxes. All I kept saying was, we planned this all wrong. Although we "saw" a ton of sites, we barely absorbed any of them. We promised to do better next time. Spent time on the hard next to Matt's boat in Maryland. Like I said, great episode!!
Don't be too in awe of Vagabonde, your channel is much better, in my humble opinion! They should be looking at you and saying, OMG it's the Millinnial Falcon!
Lived in the DC area for 20 years, worked downtown for most of them. Bought my boat at Spring Cove and the Annapolis area was my home waters for a few years. Lovely to see you enjoy it all. Also, a tip, you will never see all DC has to offer. Tourist DC alone is multiple trips, but the true glory of DC are the unique residential areas outside the business/tourist core. Y'all did great.

What a GREAT surprise video...DC AND MATT Rutherford too !!? 💖🥳 Really brought tears to my eyes...spent 22 years up there, much of it on the Magothy....best years of my life (so far !😎)...really miss it ! ❤️ I met him down on Annapolis dock the morning he sailed back in from his Americas circumnavigation....and HAD to tease him about the Zebra mussels he trafficked into the Chesapeake, clustered up on his rudder ! 🤣

Ahhh, 5 years ago before we started out here, they were the ones we watched! We don't really watch sailing channels now as we're out here doing it ourselves but i totally had a fan girl moment seeing them!
I agree, cruising is about the journey, travel is about arriving at your destination. How often do cruisers arrive at different destinations than intended. Imagine a traveller arriving at St Lucia when they had booked for St Martin. A cruiser? Oh well, we have good holding and an island, let's go and explore. Welcome back!
Next time you're in the DC area, I highly recommend going out to the Air & Space Annex (the Udvar-Hazy Center) out at Dulles Airport. They have an SR-71, the Enola Gay, and the Space Shuttle Orbiter Discovery.

Left on a delivery from Newport, RI to the Bahamas about the same time in November...it was cold...and I live in Maine. Saw very few boats. Stopped in North Carolina for a break between storm systems and it was still cold! The Bahamas were amazing as always though!

JB Weld is wonderful. I used it on the radiator of a Mazda MPV since it had a plastic radiator. Never had any problems with it leaking.
