what a tribute to all the men and women of that generation. sometimes they made life look easy but in reality theirs was much more about taking risks and living out their dreams.

As a father of two, man this song hits close to home. love it brother. I'm originally from Round Rock, Texas. Loving the song brother. Go Long Horns baby!!
Yeah, a badass. It has been my pleasure to know a lot of badasses. You might have mistaken a lot of them for kids, but you would have been wrong. Badasses aren't always what you expect. I spent 18 months with a bunch of them in Danang, Vietnam. It was a privilege. Semper fi. Love this song.
You may be a baddass. But when your from Texas.... and east Texas oilfield trash. Well thats just BadAss squared! Momma still says the apple didn't fall far from the tree.
reminds me of an updated hank jr, who himself penned more than a few tunes about his pops......We def could use more badasses in this world.....good attitude, fun song....kept the faith of badassery without getting too far off the rails, held that in perfectly, and kept interest to the end
The one who always strictly follows the rules and conventions often doesn't get very far... It's better to dare a little bit too much than not to move at all. Great song and character! And like we say in French: ''La chance sourit aux audacieux'' (Luck favours the bold), at least sometimes... 🏁
i don't know what that Jose guy said, but i bet he was jealous of real men. I don't even like country music but i appreciate this one. Cool story, and yeah - back when men were men.
The guy tried that with my wife after I went to my truck and got my little friend the dude's now spending the rest of his life in a wheelchair don't ever think that you can be badass unless you're going to be the first to draw and the funny thing was I got acquitted because he threatened me first
Jesse Dayton is a Bad Ass!

This song reminds me of my father, all my uncles, and my grandads. WWII, Korea, Vietnam. Alabama boys that were tough as leather.
