The fridge it replaced that was $600 new ran for 17 years with no problems and still worked. Then my 3-year-old Rheem heat pump / AC unit that cost $5500 installed had to have a new blower motor after 3 years. The contractor-grade brand unit it relaced that was $3000 back then ran for 16 years with nothing ever needed except a $50 capacitor replacement. And yep, it was still working also when removed.
74 years old here. Workout at the gym 3 or 4 x per/wk., walk a good deal every day, eat healthy, take vitamins and supplements, constantly reading books, articles both on-line and hard copies. Fortunate in the genetic lottery, but have looked after my health and well-being since young. People need to begin early in life to try and lead a healthy life, and also maintain a positive outlook, which admittedly can be quite a challenge some times. But as for the external bullshit that surrounds most everyone...yeah, def too old for that!
