I saw this guy play without his band in a small room in Nashville. No overwhelming noise and you can hear every word. Nothing to hide, no crutches, no soundboard magic. All talent.
Same thing! This was back in my college days. He was in town recording horse soldier and I saw him with his bass player and drummer at a dive I can’t remember the name of. Maybe 20 people in the audience. The arena shows are awesome but he is something else in a small venue. Sang his heart out all night. Still the best show I’ve ever been to.
@@ChrisTopher-vh8tuwould you believe we saw Turnpike Troubadors open for Corb? We had no idea who they were at the time but it was one of the best shows I’ve ever been to.
round about this time i saw corb in pg not deadmonton. trip to the tank thanks to guys who were not good highschool budies and figured letting a couple hundred grand of horses out from the cn center and run away while myself drunk tried to keep the dumb animals within the confines of the fenced area. security showed up and i was the ne who got put in the clink. ones a realstate agen and the other guy installs eavestroffs. myself i wrench on other peoples junk cars
