Someone needs to swap a kx250 or kx500 engine into a mojave! I have an 89 mojave and its a blast, i could only imagine what it would be like with one of those engines in it though.
You need to check your carb, I can tell it's not running right, I only know this because it just happened to me on mine. Check your carburetor on the top there's a plastic cover, underneath is a diaphragm with a slide and a needle attached. Make sure it's not stuck and seated properly. I'm telling you now it'll wake that quad more than you ever thought was possible. The race would be so much closer trust me

I raced an 87 Mojave with a 88 KLR 650 motor in Open class mx and flat track in 90-93. The machine was heavily modded and surely was a beast!!!
