I’m 6 months I’ll be back!! I’m an unemployed post grad, feeling stuck, and honestly a bit depressed for the first time in my life. Today, I commit to 6 months. I will be back, and I will tell everyone how I’ve changed. Someone else commented this, so I’m doing it too.
Work, exercise, sleep, sunlight, goals, gratitude, the full job lot!
Edit 1: 2 weeks in and I’m employed in my dream job 💞

She is quite literally living off the aesthetics of "productivity", without having the stamina to do any particular project herself. It is economically advantageous of course and good for her; but she is selling all the time something that does not actually exist. Her strong point are languages since she comes from a rich international family.

There's a lot of improvements in the way Ruri makes her vid. Here are some of the things i noticed.
    1. It started immediately!
    2. More B rolls.
    3. Improved Jcuts for seamless connection.
    4. Ruri's A-roll being shown on stock videos that isn't her.
    5. B-roll quality improving. It always match what's being said. So much b roll super engaging!
    6. Wiggle positions in graphics for constant engagement
    7. No gaps in speaking.
    8. Zooming in, crops and constant change on a-roll for seamless vid.
    9. I like the skew effect on article makes it more interactive.
    Potential improvement:
-experiment with sound design on animation
-On showing articles zoom it in highlighting what Ruri sighted
-Experiment with Chapters TH-cam feature and segment sponsor and headline like the monk mode 10 listicles and etc. (also when there's sponsor add a yellow loading line below or above so user have idea when it's done.)
Well done Ruri!. 🙏 Also well done editor if it's someone else.

My gripe with videos like this is that you never hear from the people who did all of this work just like she says, but still didn't get their life together. People are lucky if they find the missing piece in their life from watching self improvement content on TH-cam. It's not that easy for everyone and working hard isn't always enough because sometimes you need professional help. Finding the proper care that you need can also be very difficult depending on your economic situation. That said, hard work and determination is at the root of it all. I've been doing it for the last 7 years or so and only the last year or so i feel like im starting to see the light. So it took 6 years of feeling like i was every day trying to fix my life but not getting anywhere at all. Ive given up so many times only to get back up again. It has to be like a compulsion to always get back up even if there seems to be no point.

Lesson learned through experience. If your friends have no aspirations, you’re going to have to just accept the fact if you want to work on yourself and improve, you WILL have to dedicate the time to it. Even if it means saying no to going out for drinks. I didn’t push my friends away, but none of them have any goals and are content with the bare minimum. That’s fine if you’re like that. I wasn’t. Focused on myself. Barely saw them for a year. Started learning and hanging out with a multi millionaire who was already where I would’ve liked to have been. My networth went up 4x. And my friends were still there when I got back.

This video literally hyped me up! I’m in the phase of mediocrity where everything I used to enjoys looks flat and boring, it’s time to make a change. I’m gonna watch this video every morning and start to take some action, thank you so much for this!

Watching this made me realize that, after a long take of running towards my goals, I just lose the way.
One of my Monk Mode rules has always been "whenever you want to start something, start it now or today", and that's what I'm going to do right now. It's time to take control over myself, find the way and start converging all of that information that I learned in the way of the years.
I love your channel because your videos always make me want to actually take action.
Such a great and inspiring video!

Ruri, you inspire me a lot. I promise you i will become the person i wanted in 6-12 months and come back to this video and give feedback. My biggest dream is to study medicine in italy right now. While watching your videos i figured out that actually almost all of us are facing with same problems. Our family, teachers or friends might not believe our goals. But i know myself, i know i want to do this. Thanks a lot sister :)

You are right, I don't want a mediocre life that's why I usually watch this type of content. I don't have self-confidence and I've always struggled to trust myself. I need only more clarity in my life. My mind is foggy and I can't think straight. Thanks for your videos and energy

Hey Ruri, let me start by saying that you've motivated me a lot more than ever to stay active and productive, can't thank you enough! Also, you're right regarding social media, because if you know how to use it properly, then it really can make you a living, otherwise, you'll just get left feeling depressed 24/7 from the more pointless side of social media. Also, on another note, thanks so much for teaching me about "monk mode", I'll take that a lot more into consideration, now! You're basically THE strongest motivational productivity channel on YT, without a doubt, keep up the awesome work!
    P.S. - No pain, no gain! 😎💪🏼🤓

Having a clear goal like a shonen protagonist allows us to not only dream big but have direction. It gives us that drive to strive towards achieving that goal. Your tip about cutting things out, disappearing and dedicating a set amount of time will only increase the likelihood of it becoming a reality. It's easier said than done. Being trapped in that doom-scrolling mindset is hard to snap out of. So randomly coming across and watching this video has helped tremendously. Now I just need to put the work in, think smart, be motivated and the results will show. Hey maybe in 6-12 months time things will be different. Thank you for sharing and good luck to those out there trying their best.

Ah Ruri I love seeing these kind of stories. I had this kind of uprising too. I lost count how many nights I wasted doom scrolling and got so depressed that I attempted taking my own life several times. I decided that one day was enough and decided to push and now I’m going to be working for the government. In a twisted way I’m glad I went through what I did.

I feel like i have lost myself.. I used to be so focused in my school days. But in recent years i am left with nothing but demotivation to do anything. But your video suddenly popped out and I couldn't resist myself to watch it.. Really feeling better that we all go through the same situation atleast once in a lifetime but in the end how do you overcome it is the thing that matter..

Amazing content as always! 🚀 My whole life I struggled to stick to a routine until I understood that, for my ADHD, a routine serves more as a guideline, not a strict plan. Once I understood this I was able to focus on the things that truly move the needle.
If this is of any help to anyone, here are some of the things that have helped me during 🧘 'Monk mode":
    > Commit to one goal at a time: If I split my energy into multiple pieces and try to do a little bit of this and a little bit of that every day it will eventually become repetitive, boring, and much harder to achieve. Instead, I do sprints of hyperfocus for 3-4 days into a single project, then rest for 1 or 2 days, and tackle the next objective.
    > Have food available for different levels of energy: If you want to cook. Awesome! but if you don't have the energy make sure to always have things available that don't require too much preparation.
    > Have a ritual to trigger hyperfocus: Mine is 1. Change my outfit to the most comfortable possible. 2. Brush my teeth. 3. Fill my bottle of water. 4. Grab a couple of snacks so I don't get interrupted by cravings. 5. Clean my workstation. 6. START
    > Install the News Feed Eradicator Chrome extension (Or something similar for your browser), for my phone I use the "Stay Focused' app to block or limit social media usage.
